Chapter 24: Chapter 23 Retrieving Kallen Kaslana
Seeing Kiana's disappearance, Aron immediately asked Raphael about her whereabouts.
"Report: It is detected that she opened a hidden code where a hidden virtual reality is created by Otto Apocalypse about Kallen Kaslana," Raphael's voice was heard inside Aron's head.
"Can you open it?" Aron asked as he stood in front of the Oath Judah, holding Bronya.
"Yes," Raphael replied. A portal opened, and the two saw Kiana falling.
Using his ability, Aron generated a slime tentacle as a footing and used Sonido while carrying Bronya.
"Eh?" Kiana was surprised to see that Aron was carrying her while falling.
Suddenly, a woman with white hair arrived in front of them and carried Aron like a princess, putting Bronya and Kiana onto her shoulder.
"Eh?" The trio was surprised once again to be carried by an unknown individual.
But Aron was the most shocked of the two because he was being princess carried and couldn't help but blush at his current position.
Seeing Aron being princess carried and his blushing face, Kiana and Bronya couldn't help but get jealous of the girl carrying them.
After a second, they landed safely on the ground.
"Are you alright?" She asked, looking at the trio who stood up once they landed.
Aron blushed, covered his face, and joked, "I can't marry anymore, my first time was taken away by a random woman."
Bronya gave Aron a thumbs up and said, "Don't worry, Bronya would happily marry you."
Kiana gave Aron a smirk and said, "I would happily marry you, so don't worry."
The girl who had carried the trio watched them with interest and smiled as the three happily played around.
Aron looked at the white-haired girl who had saved them and said, "Oh, thanks for saving us. We nearly fell to our deaths."
Aron lied because he could use his ability to fly, and Kiana tried to argue about the word he just used, but Bronya covered her mouth to shut her up.
"It's alright. When I suddenly saw you falling from the sky from afar, it gave me a big scare too," she answered with a kind smile, giving them the vibe of a caring big sister.
"She's pretty," Aron and Kiana muttered at the same time.
"Sensei, what is she? This place should be a virtual space, right?" Aron asked his AI inside his head, not understanding who the girl was.
"Report: This place should be a virtual space, and the woman standing in front of you is Kallen Kaslana, an ancestor of Kiana Kaslana," Raphael answered inside his head.
"She was an A.I that gained her own sentience through the loop that keeps happening in this virtual space."
Aron nodded in understanding and looked at Kallen once again.
"Oh, here come the people who came to pick me up," Kallen said, looking at the trio with a serious gaze. "I suggest the three of you leave this place."
Suddenly, a group of people wearing doctor masks from the past arrived, surrounding Aron's group and Kallen.
A person who looked like the leader of the group walked to the front and asked Kallen, "Miss Kallen, why did you escape?"
"Grandfather Arthur, I never intended to escape. I just saw a group of individuals falling from the sky and ran over here to save them, nothing more," Kallen explained.
Hearing Kallen's explanation, the others wearing black robes and doctor masks from the past got angry and shouted.
"NONSENSE! NOTHING THAT YOU, A TRAITOR TO THE ORGANIZATION, COULD SAY IS CREDIBLE," a member pointed at Kallen with anger.
"THAT'S RIGHT, DON'T FORGET, IT WAS YOU WHO STOLE THE ORGANIZATION'S CRYSTAL HALF A YEAR AGO," another person added.
The leader of the group raised a hand to silence the others and said, "Miss Kallen, if you are willing to repent, I could still plead to the grandmaster on your behalf."
"It's useless. The pope has already made his decision," Kallen answered, looking down at the ground. "And... The current me has already lost the reason to live quite a while ago."
As she said that, she looked at the ground with a sad expression, and Aron asked Raphael for information about Kallen Kaslana.
"Report: Kallen Kaslana was a descendant of the Kaslana lineage, renowned for their excellent combat capabilities and Houkai adaptability," Raphael gave a detailed introduction about Kallen Kaslana.
"She was the most powerful among her fellow Valkyries in her era and was Otto Apocalypse's first love interest, but she did not return his feelings. Kallen wielded the Oath of Judah until her ultimate death at the hands of an Emperor Houkai Beast."
Aron was surprised by the beautiful Onee-san standing in front of him but he didn't judge someone's taste, so he remained silent.
"What the hell are you babbling about!?" One of the black-robed persons shouted in anger, pulling Kallen's chains.
"PAF!" He suddenly got thrown away by Kiana's kick.
"What do you think you are trying to do to my savior?" Kiana asked with a smirk.
Kallen was shocked by Kiana's movement and didn't expect her to be so strong.
Feeling Kallen's gaze, Kiana smirked. "I might look cute, but when it comes to fighting, I wouldn't falter," she said with confidence.
"I'm going to tell Mei Onee-sama that you're flirting with other girls," Bronya said to Kiana, whose smirk turned into pure horror.
The leader of the black-robed persons suddenly disappeared, and Kallen shouted, not wanting Kiana to get hurt, "Behind you!"
As the black-robed person appeared behind Kiana, he got thrown away by a punch from Aron, who was standing quietly next to Kiana. He looked menacingly at the black-robed person and said, "Touch her, and you won't see the sun tomorrow."
The group got alarmed and ganged up on Aron, but all of them lost consciousness in a swift moment, surprising everyone as this was the first time they had seen Aron fight, aside from facing the Giant Houkai Beast all by himself.
"We should leave, Miss Kallen," Aron said, looking at Kallen.
Kallen shook her head in disagreement and said, "I don't have any reason to live as I already lost her, so I don't have the will to escape. You should leave me alone and leave this place."
Aron didn't agree and said, "Yae Sakura is alive in the real world."
Upon hearing Aron's words, Kallen was shocked to hear something unexpected and looked at Aron with disbelief in her eyes.
"Sensei, show her the image of Yae Sakura from Nagazora," Aron asked Raphael. Kallen's eyes welled up with tears as she stood up from her bearings.
"But how can I leave this place? I already experienced an infinite loop, and I know that I'm not the real Kallen Kaslana. She died 500 years ago," she questioned, looking at Aron with tears.
"Yes, you're not Kallen, but you inherited her memories, so you are Kallen," Aron answered as he asked Raphael to retrieve her database, leaving the entire place with Kiana and Bronya.
