Chapter 64: Adventure (1)

Ildoa Kingdom is located in the south of the Empire and east of the Francois Republic. It has some colonies on the southern continent, expanding its influence and competing with the Republic and the Commonwealth.

This world... Akihito seems to not be able to remember what anime it was despite having arrived here already.

Just like usual, they spawned a few feet high in the sky.

And now, due to the power of timeskip, they had an offline meeting at an abandoned building in the Kingdom of Ildoa...

A certain admin furrowed his eyebrows.

"WAHAHA! I REMEMBER YOU! YOU MUST BE THE 'Strongest sorcerer' NANODA!! LET'S FIGHT-NODA!!!" A girl with Platinum Pink hair exclaimed.

And Gojo Satoru, who surprised everyone by discarding his blindfold, responded joyfully:

"Well, Destroyer-chan was it? I won't say no to that offer~~!"

When suddenly two paper fans (harisen) hit their heads.

"Just a second ago I told you we came here not to play. Didn't you hear!?" Rimuru scolded Milim.

As for Gojo...

"You... You already know my plans, so stop acting otherwise."

Translation: You might say you're fine with my manipulative nature, but if you already knew my plans, then don't pretend and act like it!

Thus, Gojo was scolded by him for pretending.

Thought Acceleration can cause many things.

When someone lives and thinks longer than they're supposed to, you'll get a mature old man inside a young body.

Personalities are greatly affected due to the evolution of one's skills.

That was the exact reason for Akihito's and Gojo's eccentric personalities.

The playful personality that Gojo has is due to being able to process information faster than most people.

He wasn't able to become actually "surprised" if it wasn't something completely unexpected.

As for Akihito, he's just starting with his changes. Give him a few hundred years, with omniscience and omnipotence, he'd either turn into an emotionless and depressed character or a playful and childish god.

Now then...

"This world... The content of the sequence itself was too factual, so I want to hear your opinion, Rimuru." Akihito asked the slime in their humanoid form.

"Hm? You want MY opinion? I thought the guy who figured out all about me yet he doesn't want to disclose how, knows about EVERYTHING!"

Rimuru had an eyebrow raised at this.

"Hmmm... That's fair."

"No... Just tell me how you know my past name, seriously." Rimuru was honestly bewildered at how much the admin likes to speak in riddles all the time.

"Can't we talk about that later? Rather, why did you even join the quest? You said you have other matters..." Akihito wanted to ask, but even without his thought acceleration on, he was guessing that the world's time-stopping problem was the cause of it. Thus, he decided to change his question:

"No, nevermind... Rather, why are you wearing a maid uniform?" Now comes a question everyone actually wants to ask.

But Rimuru has a dark face.

The humanoid slime's eyes that were once golden bright are now reflecting the murkiness of eternal suffering inside some sort of abyss. And with a voice of somewhat a "veteran," the slime with a hurting voice said:

"You don't want to know."

Sleeveless, white apron, and open back...

Akihito can see two lumps of fat covered with cloth in Rimuru's chest area.

What was it? Ah! In medical terminology, you'd know it as... "Mammary glands."

But well, this just shows how Akihito is great with "human anatomy."

So Akihito closed his eyes, and opened them once more...

"Why are you making a face as if you're pitying me...?"

The slime was dumbfounded at the admin who's trying to hold back a tear.

"I'm very sorry, Rimuru."

"Uwaaaa--h, you sure have a talent for making a high-tier punchable face."

While Rimuru had a vein popped on his forehead, both Milim and Gojo were watching them on the sidelines with popcorn in hand:

"They sure are close, huh?"

"Agreed-nanoda."

Thus, that was the only reaction they could give to the duo.

"So you said administrators have information about everyone's world. What are you thinking about? I thought we'd go along with our usual 'Listen to everything Akihito' plan?" Asked Rimuru, while raising an eyebrow.

Akihito then explains: "It's not that, the task itself is ambiguous. If I were to guess, then the quest might be talking about the 'God' of this universe. But we have to 'overthrow' him? That's impossible."

He then explains the existence of "Gods."

There are two kinds of gods, firstly Gods manifested from masses:

Just like how curses from Gojo's world work, curses are generated by humans' negative emotions.

If those emotions are turning into what you call "Hope," then deities shall be born from images and humanity's desire for salvation.

The more believers they have, the stronger their Existence is.

"So how do you overthrow a god? Simple... You take their believers away. As of now, there are actually just a few believers in the current world we're in."

This world does have human believers, but this world is in a state of war against each other.

And the war has just started.

After a war went uncontrollable and one side was able to overwhelm the other, the side that loses will be stricken with great despair.

Meaning, they will come to understand fear once more and ask for salvation from the gods.

It's not that they abandoned their scientific progress.

But it was that their despair drove them to pray to the gods they'd never believed in before.

But that doesn't mean the only way to solve this quest was to have Akihito or Rimuru become their subjects of worship.

In fact, churches are not their main target.

He could kill all the gods and replace them, but there's no way in hell he has any time to manage this world.

That's why he replaced D with Shiraori in the first place.

And right now... Even if there is a certain main character who seeks vengeance against the gods of this world, they won't be suitable as god candidates.

"We would have to breach a few things in this world."

*Ding*

That sound is very familiar to Rimuru and Akihito.

It was the Aincrad system.

[Nameless Deity is asking you how you got into their territory of jurisdiction with a suspicious glance]

[They are demanding you to go back immediately]

"Their territory?" (Rimuru)

"Well, it looks like everything is going much more smoothly than I imagined. So this is your world. How cliché that was."

Akihito grinned widely at the sight of the system announcing their message.

And there she is, the main character of this verse.

Tanya Von Degurechaff, due to certain circumstances involving a childish God (dubbed  as "Existence X") and a rude salaryman, that very same salaryman who was murdered in 2013 was reborn as a girl living in an alternate version of Europe during the late Interwar period.

The girl who entered the empire's military at 9 has become some sort of a mastermind who turns the empire into the iconic Nazi from our world.

*BOOM*

And currently, she and her flying battalion are destroying the enemy's capital.

There is magic too in this world, and it is achieved through technological operation orbs. Unlike the era of legends, this allowed people to clearly understand in detail the where, the how, and the degree of power to interfere with reality.

As for Tanya's crew, they soar through the skies with their magic and wage war on the enemy's capital.

It's propaganda.

Tanya filmed their one-sided slaughter in the capital of the communist republic, going as far as making fun of them and even singing their national anthem as they saw the world burn beneath them.

Churches, hospitals, and national monuments... They're all destroyed.

There are rules in a war, but a war is still a war. The moment one of them breaks a code, the others follow.

And thus, the battle with the federation comes to an end.

They return to the camp and begin celebrating after their successful attack.

And that's when the Strategic HQ gives them a new order.

They might be aces, but they're still human. Tanya's crew despairs with a silent cry of bloody murder as they are transported to a snowy area...

Battle of Tiegenhoff, The battle starts when Tanya orders her troops to mainly focus on the ground forces due to their large size. At first, the invasion is not threatening until the arrival of the mages under Colonel Drake of the United Kingdom Of Albion and the aircraft with anti-ballistic missiles.

It's hopeless...

Their troops keep coming and trying to take control over Tiegenhoff.

But to make matters worse, they encounter a soldier who stands out the most.

Tanya looks at the brown-haired girl who glares at her with hatred.

This is Mary Sioux. The "toy" of the childish god known as "Existence X."

She has the same golden magic wavelength as Tanya and bears huge hatred towards her.

Tanya decides to take her on her own.

Thus they fight, and fight...

Their battlefield strays into a destroyed church.

They've run out of magical power, and Mary discards her gun.

Inside the destroyed church, in front of the statue that represents "God," Mary has the chance to kill Tanya.

Yet...

"RAAAAAAAAGHHHH!"

All she does is sit on top of her and punch the blond-haired little girl's face.

Her words are no longer humane.

She lashes out with hatred as if she's a beast. Humans perform cruelty with their own consent, but if you're hurting others on reflex, then you're just a mindless pest.

Mary has thrown all of her reasons for following the order she was given.

All of her hatred is directed at the little girl who killed her father in the previous battle.

But just before then...

'w-what??'

The girl's beating stops.

No... That isn't the only thing that stops.

The fire and smoke that are raging retain a fixed shape, and the girl who was throwing punches at Tanya seems to be frozen in place.

Meanwhile, Tanya is able to think.

She can't move, but she is very conscious of the situation.

This situation is very familiar, that's right... It's like when Existence X interrupted and made a scene a few times in the past.

And there is a familiar voice.

『What... WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S TERRITORY!!??』

The sound seems to be voiced by many people, men or women, at the same time. Tanya hears it echoing through the surroundings.

'That... Is Existence X??? His voice sounds panicking for something... Looking at it, it's as if someone else is stopping the time now.' Tanya concludes as she moves her eyes to look at Mary on top of her. She admits, this is a very awkward position.

But Existence X is taken aback by a somewhat nonchalant reply:

"See! I told you the girl would lose-noda!" A voice of a girl, no, actually... Tanya decides to not draw a conclusion yet.

Those words were actually spoken by Milim.

"Hey, you're pausing too quickly, Tanya-chan is not done yet, you know!?" Then comes a voice of a certain unusually haired monarch. Obviously, that playful tone is Gojo's.

"Can you guys shut up for a while?" ×2

The same sentence can be said by two people, Rimuru and Akihito.

Before Tanya can blink... Four figures appear, surrounding both her and the frozen Mary.
