Chapter 2: The Great Escapade

I opened my eyes. I was weary, my head hurt. The cold gave me frost bites and the fractals on the top of the jail kept dripping drizzles of freezing water. I was bleeding. There was a bruise on my eye, I could tell because the bulge made it hard for me to see. My torso trickled with blood drops from my forehead. I was tied up and unaware of my belongings. Suddenly I heard an alarm ring everything was beeping with red lights, the comrades and generals started exclaiming in russian and swarmed to the stairs. There I was all alone in a jail cell with no people around. A perfect time to escape, but I was held back by the ropes, holding unto me like grudge. I couldn't make an attempt to free myself because of my helpless condition. Just then, I heard the jail cell open and I saw a person in black apparel, like a stealthy ninja cosplay character. I chuckled, I knew exactly who it was."Byron! Took you a while huh?" , I laughed and coughed. " Holy shit, they went all out on you. I could hardly recognize you with all the bruises and blood splashes on your face, Stevens.", Byron said trying to untie the knots of the ropes. After I was free, I rushed towards the corner of the jail, where a backpack read 'Lyra Stevens'. "Found my bag now let's get out of this Hellhole", I said to Byron. We rushed out to the exit. Beat up a bunch of comrades and stepped into white russian soil. I covered myself with an overcoat I borrowed from a Russian dude that I beat up. Just then Byron heard something from his earpiece.
