Chapter 2: chapter 2
Steve reaches into his backpack and gets a small bag of dust, but before he could do anything a lock of blonde hair passes his eyes heading to the airplane.
The person puts his hands on the airplane pulling the airplane, slowing it down and moves it to the ocean, where the police are.
Steve looks shocked, and asks "What was that?"
The clouds clear for a minute and Steve with Jake sees a boy who has blonde locks, wearing the same outfit as Steve, but he has fangs and cold eyes.
"A vampire!" gasped Jake.
The boy turns Steve, touches cheeks, and says "Don't worry, I don't bite".
Then, the boy flies away, leaving Steve memorized, so Jake flies after him.
Once the boy lands, the principal tells him "Ben, you should be more careful, the only ones that know about the supernatural is me, the teachers, and… Steve".
Just as the principal mentions Steve's name, he appears on Jake by the principal.
The Principal has long curly blue hair, wearing a black suit and black shoes.
The boy turns around to Steve, walks up to him, pulls Steve up to him; and says "My name is Ben, nice to meet you".
While greeting Steve, he puts a warm aura around him, making Steve nervous, this makes Bem give an evil smile.
Jake gets in the way, and barks "LEAVE HIM ALONE! VAMPIRE!"
"But, he's so cute", said Ben.
"Besides Ben's staying with Steve", said the principal.
"What?!" asked Steve and Jake, shocked.
"Yeah! He's being hunted and I need him out of trouble", the principal explains to Jake and Steve.
"He's a vampire, he can take care of himself", Jake insisted.
"I wish I could agree, but Ben is a sheltered vampire, so he doesn't quite have the survival skills of a normal vampire", the principal pointed out. "So, I'm asking will you take care of him, both of you".
"Of course, right Jake?" Steve decides.
"Fine, but I'm not taking responsibility if the vampire gets into trouble", Jake agrees with Steve.
"Ouch!" replied Ben, then lets go of Steve and walks up to Jake. "So cold, for a Griffin, do you treat all guests like that?"
"In my eyes, you are nothing, but a trespasser", Jake puts his head close to Ben's.
"Fine, but your friend thinks otherwise", Ben reveals, pointing to Steve blushing.
"He'll see who you really are, sheltered or not vampires are no good", Jake stands his ground.
"That's the same thing my brother told me, before he got killed", Ben remembered, with a cold look in his eyes.
The principal claps his hands, and says "Enough!"
Jake backs off, and Ben walks into the building.
Steve goes after Ben, the principal tells him "Steve, good luck".
Steve wasn't quite sure what the principal meant, so he brushes it off and follows Ben.
Ben gets caught by a crowd of boys asking him questions, Steve tries to get through, but ends up in a closet.
"Seriously", said Steve, getting the mop off his head.
The door opens, revealing Darrel, he holds out his hand, Steve takes it, and he gets up.
"What are you doing?" asked Darrel.
"Trying to get to Ben", Steve spoke honestly.
"You became friends with him already?" Darrel asks, looking shocked.
"Yeah, the principal told me, he has to live with me", Steve tells Darrel.
Darrel puts his hands on his mouth with his eyes sparkling.
"What?" asked Steve, confused.
"It's the start of love, it's destiny", Darrel predicted.
"That's crazy, this is real life", said Steve.
"It's happened in real life too, and I'll prove to you that it'll happen before the dance this fall", Darrel strongly believes.
"Darrel", said Steve, about to give up.
"Steve, this school there are two rules: fall in love with a student or fall in love with a teacher", Darrel explains to Steve. "And we knew there was no chance that you would get together with the principal".
"True, but it's still too soon to fall in love", Steve believes.
"I'm not forcing you, but I assumed this prediction of love because you always handled crowds, being calm and cool, but now you're being a bit clumsy, blushing, and your legs are shaking", Darrel spoke honestly.
In the hallway, Ben smiles as he hears Darrel and Steve's conversation, and says "I'll make him fall in love with me".
Steve with Darrel is walking to their literature class, when they see Ben with two other boys who have brown hair.
