Chapter 2: Rebirth.
Everywhere around him was filled with darkness, his body was feeling comfortable in this warm place. Trying to move he saw that his body wasn't capable of moving, panicking he was about to struggle he heard the voice of the system inside his head and began to calm down.
What the system said was something really simple. "Do not worry the host is currently being born, because of <One Punch man's bloodline> being a talent with limitless potential a paired body is needed, one with the same limitless potential, as the host is inside a pregnant woman, the system took the initiative of changing the host's body. You can change your appearance within the character customization."
With nothing else to do, Asahi began to look at the character customization icon in the system and tweak the character looks. Everything was modifiable, body, eyes, hairs, skin, gender... Thinking for a while he began to laugh hard in his mind as he changed the character into persons from Anime on Earth.
Natsu, Son Goku, Sasuke, One Punch Man, Genos...
Stopping having fun he began to seriously consider how he should look, it was evident that just after being born he wouldn't instantly look the way he chooses it, but he would grow toward it.
Firstly, he didn't want to become bald after his training, he preferred long hair like in those Chinese novels about immortal, secondly, he had to be the most handsome man this world will ever see and third he should have a well-proportioned body. Thinking about this he began to personalize his body.
Long black hair, brightly lit golden colored eyes, with a devilishly handsome face, a naturally well-balanced muscular body. A jade-like skin overflowing with vitality. Everything was set. A handsome face, so handsome that even boys would question their sexual orientation and make young maiden flush with a single look or smile, a body well proportioned so that no problem would happen during training adding the almost feminine look a touch of manliness.
Touching the finalize button, a glow appeared on his forming body, re-arranging the organization of the cell inside the body and moving the growing bones.
It didn't take long as the body he currently was in was only about one month old, without having anything else to do he began to wait and try to sense his growing body.
And so day after day, month after month he began his monotonous activity consisting of: Sensing his body grow, lightly punching his mother's stomach from inside, sleeping, over and over again until today.
....
It was time for Asahi to leave his mother's stomach in which he stayed for 290 days and show to the world that cuteness his justice.
While waiting for the right time to get out, he began to feel the flesh around his body tighten and he began to slowly leave his current position in order to see the light.
"Aaaaah..."
"Push, madam, push, I can see his foot !" urged a woman.
"Ahhhhh! Ah!"
"Breathe in, and out, in, out." said a calm feminine voice.
"AHHHHH"
"He is almost out, the final push!"
'Pop'
Suddenly light began to assault Asahi's eyelid as he opened his eyes his gaze settled on a women's body, she had long black hair with blue eyes and a curvaceous body, even though she was in her thirties age didn't seems to reduce her beauty in the least.
Currently, she had a deeply exhausted expression, and around her nurses were anxiously telling her to calm down. She was Asahi's mother, Chiyo Yoake.
Suddenly one of the nurses took Asahi and began to spank him in order to make him cry as she saw him not crying. Comprehending why she spanks him, he began to cry loud and clear in order to not seem abnormal.
"It is a healthy boy mam !" exclaimed the nurse who spanked him earlier with a slight grin on her face.
"Of course that's my son!" exclaimed Chiyo with joy in her voice which died soon after as she began to murmur in a daze while looking at Asahi in her embrace with a sad look. "It is such a pity that your father died.." not finishing her sentence she began to sigh.
Seeing the mother who has just given birth with such a sad expression, the nurse quickly changed the discussion in another direction with a question. "What is the name of the boy madam?"
"He shall be called Asahi Yoake (Sunrise; nightfall) meaning the sunrise after the night as I hope for him to become the rising sun in the nightfall." she softly said while gazing at the baby with a gentle and loving expression.
Seeing the look in the eye of the mother all the nurse were emotionally touched and offered some silence for the loving atmosphere.
But the silence didn't last long, as the hands that were holding the baby began to lose strength. The mother of the boy began to close her eyes with a gentle smile on her lips as she whispered toward the baby in her embrace.
"You have to be strong in the future, I want you to live a happy life without worries, mon really wanted to see you grow into a fine men and marry a gentle girl... and some years later carry her grandchildren but mom has to leave you.. and meet your father in paradise, I'm sorry my son... I love you..." finishing her whispering a tear slid down her face from her eyes which closed themselves for eternity.
Seeing this happening, Asahi began to cry loudly, even though he didn't have a deep emotion for her, she was still the one who gave birth to him in this world.
The nurse around the mother and son duo began to anxiously move around and a doctor began to check the pulse of the mother. A doctor approached her and checked for the second time, sighing and shaking his head he looked to down only to see the baby who was in the embrace of his mother loudly crying and having tears streaming down from his face.
Seeing this happening, the doctor was taken aback by the intelligence of the baby, and soon enough a sad grin appeared on his face as he began to pat the baby's head.
Having no strength left in him after crying for so long, Asahi began to feel sleepy and soon enough he fell asleep.
This was the day, Asahi Yoake, who will be later known as One-Punch Man was born.
