Chapter 2: This beginning

But anyway I've spoken enough here, this is the very beginning of my life being changed into an arranged marriage. "Dear, wake up breakfast is ready." my mother says walking into my room seeing me already dressed for the most part " Tell papa I'll be down in a bit I'm just putting my heels on." I tell my mother with a smile while waving my hand until she shut the door "love you mum!" I say waiting to hear her chuckle which I do everyday since I've moved back to Japan,to help them with their financial issues their having again. I head downstairs hearing my parents talking while enjoying their morning as always" Morning papa,mother morning as well" I say smiling giving my father and mother a kiss on the cheek then sitting at the table myself to eat. As I was eating I noticed my parents moods have changed and they were whispering to each other talking about Marriage. "You know that I can hear you guys right?" I say with a giggle "Unfortunately you didn't hear it all because your laughing about it, I was talking about Marriage for you....an arranged marriage we made." I pause trying to process what I was hearing,shocked to hear that my parents actually arranged a marriage for me" Why." I say angry at my parents for what they did without telling me. My mother gets up from the table and grabs her and my father's dishes and heads to the kitchen not making any eye contact with me whatsoever. " when you were born we were fine with the financial situation as you know however, we were loosing money so I asked my great friend of mine who also had a kid except two years older than you and another on the way if he could help me with the financial problem we had and he had an idea of the eldest kids to get married which I agreed to...Hana with our inheritance in the family and the hosoki families inheritance, we will be cleared from those problems!"what my father had said made it harder to look at him which is why I stood up and left the table leaving him alone not saying anything nice only a cold"I'm heading out". Once I was outside I couldn't help but hate the fact I'd have to marry a man I don't know when I already like someone.."it doesn't matter.." I say taking deep breaths then checking my phone to see if anyone texted,only to see Gen's message"aw,he wants to meet at a cat cafe!,cute~"I say while walking off into the direction of the cafe. Arriving at the cat cafe while panting "Hey Hana over here!" Gen calls me with a cat in his lap sleeping. I laugh and walk towards gen "looks like someone is fond of you I see." Gen confused raises an eyebrow while I do the favor of pointing towards the cat on his lap,he laughs while petting the cat" she's been here for awhile" he smiles"oh and I've also ordered you a tea because you've said before how much you loved tea." I nod and thank him while we enjoy the beautiful cuteness overload in the cat cafe and observe the beautiful leaves fall. The sun is setting,we both were saying our goodbyes then walking our separate ways. As I walk along the streets I wonder what the man I'm arranged with feels about this as well or if he even knows at all "I kinda wished I was back at England" I say while sighing in anger and stress still continuing to walk on the street of my parents house, it is very dark and I've been outside for a bit thinking about the marriage but walking in the house anyway I immediately see my mother sitting on the couch sobbing as I was walking by"mother?" Surprisingly she is crying which makes me feel kind of bad and worried about her " Mother how long have you been up crying?!" My mother looks up to me wiping her tears " I'm sorry for not telling you sooner about the arranged marriage You don't have to do it" I felt bad..my mother was letting tears out which I've never seen for years! "Hana you are our only option,no matter what I do to help my company the men I've hired threaten me that they will leave if they don't get a raise." my father says walking out of the kitchen " The reason why she's crying Is because we've lost 15 people which only leaves us with 30 people left,they have been leaving everyday because we don't have enough money to pay them nor do we have enough to give anyone else a raise." My father says a bit stressed out walking up the stairs to his room and my mother following after him. I think of something and run upstairs as soon as possible catching up with my parents "Mother! Father!" I yell for my parents running into their room " Maybe I can get to know my fiance!! I mean I know I was pissed and all but...I Really wanna help with this whole problem you all have who knows maybe I'll even like the guy." I smile at my parents waiting for their answer "of course I don't expect you guys to answer right away.." I only say that because they look surprised a bit I could tell just seeing them looking at them looking at each other. " Oh dear, you know we love you and will respect your decision no matter what." My mother walks over to me while pinching my cheeks with a big grin "My little girl!!" My mother stops and hugs me "If you want you can meet him next week?" I hug my mother then walk towards their door "Whatever day is good for him now if you'll excuse me you two and I need our sleep don't you think?" I say with a fake yawn beginning to close their doors "erm..of course goodnight." My father says waving his hand. After closing the door I walk to my room to get some rest myself.
