Chapter 16: This wasn't a... WHAT!!!!
Hall was huge... not even a single dirt was there and whenever you breath.. sound echoed.
Master Amep walked inside and sat in front of them. Ducan and Draco both stood up in front of master Amep. One minute had passed but master Amep didn't utter a single word and stared at them both. To break the silenced Ducan first initiated the conversation.
" Master Amep, why did you called us inside this hall? " asked Ducan.
When Ducan asked question, Master Amep finally broke his silenced.
" The reason I called Draco here because I wanted to say Draco had successfully trained his body So , from now on you should focus on your own individual training and get better " said master Amep as he looked at Draco.
Ducan didn't heard the answer of his question so he asked again " But why did you called me? ".
After that it again got silenced. Room was filled with tension. Ducan got nervous when he looked at Master Amep face. It was blank ... he didn't even blinked his eyes... Ducan didn't knew what to do and he thought to himself " There's only one reason master is not saying any thing... I... I might have failed the test ".
When Ducan thought he became convinced that he had fail the test and his hands trembled and began to sweat.. his forehead was filled with sweat.... the thought of not getting trained by master Amep scared him.. the thought of not having the power to save his family was too much for him but their was slightest hope in his heart so he questioned
" Di... Did I... failed the te.... test? " stammared Ducan.
When Master Amep saw Ducan's nervous face and saw how much he was sweating made his laugh but he held it in and continued to keep a blank face.
" Ducan you..." said master Amep..
His voice sounded so deep and serious that Ducan was already convinced that he had fail the test...
Master Amep continued " pptt... Hahahahahahahahahaha it so much fun to tease young people " as he laughted.
Right after Ducan heard that he became shocked...
" Ack... Ack... " as his left eye moved and again " What is this master Amep... can you please answer any of my single question? ".
" Hahahahahhahaha ok... ok.... Ahem " coughed master Amep and continued " first of all Ducan you did very well and even improved much more than I expected... I am proud that I'm training you and of all you didn't fail the test " answerd master Amep.
When he heard that Ducan and Draco became happy and Draco jumped into Ducan's arms and they began to go around in circlesas they laughed. After that Ducan became excited and asked " So , what is my second test? " .
Master Amep looked at the left direction as he scratched his right cheek with his right index finger and he looked at Ducan.
" Ducan... actually the test that you have been doing was not ... a test.. it wasn't a test " .
" This wasn't a test " screamed Ducan as his voice echoed after that.. wasn't a test wasn't a test.....
and continued " what this wasn't a test then what was that... it took so much hard work ".
" Well.. I've already promised you that i would train you So, there wasn't a need of test but instead I used test as a reason to see if you could able to withstand your companion get hurt... and I saw that you do care for your companion but you also don't loose sight of your own goal " replied mater Amep.
"Just what do you mean by that? " agained asked Ducan.
" In the past 20 days... I have seen that you care for your companion... when he falls asleep you always look at his gut to see if he was injured and when Draco was training you used your wind spell to lessen the force of that weapon just to not get Draco hurt nut one thing you didn't knew was that the weapon actually absorbs any kind of magic. Those wind spell you casted made the weopon more stronger and I think this is the reason why Draco here passed this training ahead of time " replied master Amep as he looked at Draco.
and continued " but when you thought you were helping Draco. You didn't loose sight of your own goal and strive through it even when you were exhausted... you continued to improve.... Ducan... this wasn't a test... this was the initial start of your training and now you have completed it ..... and it's time to get to the next point ".
" so this wasn't a test but training.. but what does that help me in? " questioned Ducan.
" Ducan your upper body was already trained and your weakness was your lower... I noticed that when you were chasing me So, what you did these past days were to strength that lower body of yours. Ducan remember that if your body is strong that it will surely help you in any battles but strong body is not the only thing you need Will is as much as important " answered master Amep and continued " Ducan and Draco you should rest now and tomorrow is you day off....So, your training will start in day after tomorrow ".
After master Amep said that he looked Ducan and Draco left the hall and thought to himself " Hahahaha ... what a bunch.. Ducan you are really quite great.... when my master trained me the same thing .. the record I got was 15 minute and all my disciple too couldn't surpassed that but you did it in just 20 days... 12 minute hahahaha ..... it will be fun to train you... ".
{ At the same time..}
Ducan and Draco walked through the hall way to get to their room... they entered their rommand as soon as entered entered they both sat and laid down in the bed and saw stars from the window which was just above their heads.
"Ahh.... what a day it was.... but Draco... our training is gonna to start for real so, I hope you do well in it " said Ducan.
" yeah... you too Draco but you don't have to worry about me. I'm not just any Dragon.... im an anicent one.. " said Draco proudly.
When he heard that Ducan began to tickle Draco's stomach while he said " yeah you are not just any Dragon.... "
They both started to laughed and after while they got tired and stopped. They just then laid down and continued to see the stars..
" Ahh... Draco the stars are pretty right " said Ducan.
" Yes... they are " said Draco.
" you know... I'm happy to see stars with you... in our kingdom the stars are not visible but in the kingdom of dragons the stars are clearly visible.. " said Ducan.
Ducan waited for a few seconds but Draco dint say any thing and when he looked atDraco he was already asleep. So Ducan also closed his eyes and slept...
The morning came... as the day was off... they slept for 10 hours and woke up at 9:00 am... After they woke up...and freshen up Ducan made breakfast for both of them and ate it ... Since today was there day off they wanted to tour the town so they started to get ready to go to the town....
