Chapter 80: Entering the gate

"We will wait here for an hour or until everyone has fully recovered." Said Samuel not letting Eon hijack his operation.

His previous words made him untrustworthy and more importantly he was responsible for the lives of those here. He couldn't hand them over to others so willy nilly.

Eon only smiled in response. He then glanced around the room looking for somewhere to rest. Once he did, the rest of them also settled down and waited.

And wait they did, the creepy dungeon didn't help anyone feel at ease. Not only that but following Eon's inclusion many of the adventurers had tense or nervous expressions afraid to offend him. Some others were simply thinking of ways to curry his favor while others were still worried about the monstrous boss they would soon face.

The hour passed and everyone was ready to go, which included Felix whose face now wore a lifeless expression. Although his physical body had been healed, his mind wasn't currently in the right place.
