Chapter 38: Chapter 38: Naruto's Bloodline

Chapter 38: Naruto's Bloodline

"Chakra really is a miraculous power," Kenichi thought, even though he was already aware of the existence of the Tailed Beast Bomb. It was only when he faced it directly that he could feel the immense pressure.

In an instant, Kenichi even felt as if he was back in high school, experiencing the heart-pounding sensation of being caught looking at his phone by a teacher.

"However, the target isn't the village, but the Hokage Rock?" Kenichi watched the Tailed Beast Bomb fly overhead and noticed its intended target.

But the Tailed Beast Bomb didn't explode; instead, it vanished instantly, and a massive explosion was heard in the distance. Kenichi realized that the Fourth Hokage must have intervened.

The Flying Thunder God jutsu is truly a powerful ninjutsu, capable of even transferring the Tailed Beast Bomb. Could it also transfer other things like a cloud bomb or a thermobaric weapon? All that would be needed is to leave a mark at the target location, then instantly transport the weapon there and quickly retreat before detonation. The destructive power would be immense.

It's a ninjutsu of strategic level, no wonder Minato Namikaze is hailed as the Yellow Flash. Speed taken to the extreme is indeed a form of power.

"Have you ever been kicked by light?" For some reason, Kenichi couldn't help but associate Minato Namikaze with the neighboring character, Admiral Kizaru, which made him shiver.

Impossible, Minato Namikaze is not like Kizaru.

Watching the disappearing Minato Namikaze and the Leaf ninjas redirecting their attack towards the Nine-Tails, Kenichi yawned. He knew he wouldn't feel much involvement in this major event.

But that's not quite right; there seems to be something he could do, like investigating the newly born Naruto Uzumaki. The boy's bloodline might hold some secrets.

Kenichi was curious to study how Naruto Uzumaki, as the reincarnation of Asura, was affected by his bloodline.

And could he possibly strip Asura's reincarnation from Naruto? What would Naruto grow into if he were no longer the reincarnation of Asura? Kenichi was very curious.

With this in mind, Kenichi decided to give it a try. If he didn't, he felt he would be missing out.

He could choose to wait until Naruto leaves the village on a mission in the future to obtain his blood, but that would take a long time, and he didn't want to waste this opportunity.

Moreover, Kenichi remembered that this period presented an excellent opportunity.

"Lord Fourth, your son shouldn't be by your side, right?" Kenichi muttered to himself.

He didn't remember much of the plot, but he did remember that the Fourth Hokage had placed Naruto somewhere else, making this the perfect time to obtain Naruto's DNA.

However, after searching around, Kenichi reluctantly gave up. The Fourth Hokage hadn't left his son Naruto at his home, and Kenichi couldn't find him there.

"Umbilical cord blood would also work, but where is Kushina Uzumaki giving birth? Even the teacher doesn't know," Kenichi sighed. He had hoped to take advantage of this opportunity to collect it.

But without enough information, he had to abandon the plan.

Once little Naruto grows up a bit, he can infiltrate the Leaf to collect it. By then, it probably wouldn't be too late.

"The funds are almost ready, and I've got some equipment," Kenichi stroked his chin. He had planned to capture a few expendables, but now, almost everyone in the village who could run had fled.

He didn't see any suitable expendables during his stroll.

This left Kenichi somewhat disappointed, but looking at the rampaging Nine-Tails, he had an idea.

"If I were the Fourth Hokage, I would definitely put Naruto in a safe place, one that wouldn't be threatened by the Nine-Tails, a place that's sufficiently hidden," Kenichi thought deeply.

It definitely wouldn't be in the village. Although the Third Hokage was trying hard to drive the Nine-Tails out to reduce the damage to the Leaf, even a slight aftermath would be enough to endanger Naruto's life.

So, it definitely wouldn't be in the village, and it might even be diagonally opposite to the Nine-Tails' location, the farthest and least likely to be attacked place.

With this thought, Kenichi firmly headed to the other side of the village. He ran quickly, not knowing how long Obito could hold off the Fourth Hokage, but he knew he had to be fast.

"It could be on this side." Kenichi kept checking room after room, but to no avail.

Just as he was about to give up, he seemed to have found his target—a room protected by a simple barrier.

This barrier was very secretive; if Kenichi hadn't touched it, no one would have known there was a barrier here. He knew this was likely where Naruto was hiding.

Fortunately, the barrier set up by the Fourth Hokage wasn't very strong. To maintain secrecy, some defense had been sacrificed, which made it easier for Kenichi.

After breaking the seal, he saw the little Naruto in the room. Without hesitation, Kenichi took out a test tube and collected a strand of Naruto's hair and a drop of blood, then hurriedly left.

Just after Kenichi left, Minato Namikaze appeared in the room, panting heavily. He looked around nervously, then held Naruto in his arms.

Seeing that his son was unharmed, Minato Namikaze finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Is Madara Uchiha still alive? He's a formidable enemy," Minato Namikaze said, holding his side. He had felt the barrier being attacked and wanted to return.

But Madara Uchiha's fierce attack had delayed him, and in his anxiety, Minato Namikaze had taken a hit to get back here.

"The barrier has been broken, but Naruto..." Minato Namikaze was somewhat puzzled. He had been worried about his child's safety, but fortunately, Naruto was unharmed.

He had noticed someone escaping outside, but at that moment, he was more concerned about Naruto's safety. Now that Naruto was safe and the other person had fled, he had to deal with the suspected Madara Uchiha and the Nine-Tails.

Kenichi returned to his teacher's laboratory. At this time, he didn't have to worry about being watched; everyone was busy.

Orochimaru, his teacher, was busy recording forbidden jutsu from the scrolls, the Third Hokage was busy driving the Nine-Tails out of the Leaf to minimize the damage, Danzo and the Root were busy surrounding the Uchiha clan.

Obito was busy beating up his own teacher.

Kenichi thought being a teacher in the world of Naruto was indeed a dangerous job, as one could easily be dragged out by a corrupted disciple to prove a point.

"Being busy is good," Kenichi stretched and then went down to the underground laboratory. Whatever was happening outside, life and death, it had nothing to do with him now.

In the manga, Minato Namikaze put down Naruto and wasn't mentioned much after that, but I think it's a bit rough not to set any barriers at all. So, I just decided to make it a hidden protective barrier.

Don't dwell too much on this issue.
