Chapter 5: Preparation
After they left the street they went to a nearby set of flats. Luke led Lucifer to floor six and pressed his hand to the second doors lock. Lucifer stared at him incredulously.
"Luke, are you okay?" He asked. Luke just grinned at him as the lock clicked open.
"We are demigods Lucifer and we are hunted by monsters it would obviously come with certain advantages." Luke said at his shocked expression. "As a son of Hermes I have some power over domains concerning money and thieves." Pushing open the door he continued. "Depending on your parent certain abilities, active or passive, should become available to you."
He walked inside the flat and Lucifer followed him to see... A completely normal room. No flashy swords. No huge weaponries on armor racks. Just a plain room with a couch and television. Luke said to him.
"Hey we are pretty similar sizes, through there is a few boxes of assorted clothing and you can go to the shower to clean up."
Lucifer did so, feeling grime and muck was off him as it revealed tanned skin black hair with a single white streak. He looked in the mirror and saw his amber eyes flashing at him. He put on a pair of denim jeans, army boots and camo top. Looking in the mirror again he was like an army recruit in casual wear instead of a common street rat.
He walked back to the first room to find Luke scoffing down on crisps and cookies.
"Want some?" Luke asked him offering a bag. Lucifer sat opposite him and took the bag.
"What are we going to do next?" Lucifer asked Luke, eating a handful of crisps as he did so.
"Honestly apart from survive I don't know." Luke said with a sad face. "All I have done so far is survive day by day going up and down the country. Anyways I have something for you. I had this stashed here in case of an emergency but I guess it is better you use these instead of having nothing to defend yourself." Saying this Luke got up off the couch and walked into another room coming back with two extremely odd looking weapons. Noticing his look Luke said.
"These are two separate weapons. This one." Hes aid whilst lifting something that looked like a blade attached to the front of a shield. "Is a celestial bronze katar. Extremely unique. Like this which is a celestial bronze gladiator scissor." Whilst holding aloft something that looked like a gauntlet attached to an axe head. Luke gave the weapons to Lucifer watching as he slid the gladiator scissors onto his right arm and the shielded katar onto his left arm. With a jolt Lucifer watched as the changed into wide bronze chains around his wrists.
"Well." Luke said. "I did not know they could do that but I believe that are yours now." He sat down again as Lucifer loomed at the cuff like chains around his wrists.
