Chapter 4: The Son of Hermes
Lucifer grabbed Luke's hand and pulled himself up with a grunt. Staring at the pule of dust that was the dracaenae he said.
"Are you like me? Like that monster said, a demigod?"
"Yes I am. That monster was a dracaenae a snake woman who likes to kill demigods like us seeing as they can't harm our parents." At the word parents Lucifer grimaced. Luke noticed this.
"Have trouble with parents?"
"You could say that." Lucifer replied. Noting the pained face Luke stopped questioning.
"Hey what's your name?"
"Lucifer, Lucifer Diabolos" Lucifer answered his face becoming relieved at the change in conversation. "How did you kill the snake lady?"
"Oh, that's because this is a knife made of celestial bronze. Its deadly to monsters kills most weaker ones instantly and severely injures stronger monsters." Luke continued with. "You seem like you have no where to go. Do you want to stay with me? Two demigods can help each other out."
"I will take you up on that" Lucifer replied "I have been on my own a long time." He looked around wincing as his injuries healed.
"Wow your wounds are going already. How are you healing so fast." Luke said staring at the open cuts that closed so quickly.
"I don't know I have always been different to other people." Lucifer said. "Most notably I heal a lot faster, I am stronger and tougher."
"Lucky. Your like a super soldier." Luke said. At the word soldier Lucifers grimance returned, recalling his mum and how important she was to the officers he knew. Luke saw his face and immediately changed the conversation.
"Anyway we need to get going, we shouldn't stay anywhere too long." At that Luke motioned to leave the warehouse, sheathing his knife as he did so. Immediately the warehouse became darker as the bronze glow disappeared. Lucifer followed him as they left the warehouse.
"I have got a place we can go to for a while, it will allow you to clean up and gain a weapon." Lucifer nodded at that and followed him as they left the street.

BrokenVoid I am going to try and post a chapter per day but if I feel like it I will post more than one. The knife Luke currently wields will go to Annabeth and the healing factor is one of Lucifers super soldier abilities.
