Jonathan raised his eyebrows in surprise upon seeing the two messages. He put his phone in his pocket, shook his umbrella, and hurriedly walked upstairs to his apartment. As he hung up his umbrella, his phone buzzed several times.

The first message was from the hacker: "I'm sorry, please believe me, I have no ill intentions. I had to hack into your phone desperately to confirm some things. A verbal apology may seem insincere, so to show my sincerity, I'm willing to take actual actions to compensate you."

The second message was a bank account balance change notification: "Amount: 1,000,000 USD. Date: July 29. Type: Transfer from another bank. Balance: 1,062,300 USD."

Jonathan originally had over 6,000 USD in his bank account, some of which he earned himself, and some were from scholarships.

The third message was still from the hacker: "Please believe in my sincerity."
