Chapter 81: Chapter 80 - The Wrath of Vengeance
---SHIELD Data Center, Undisclosed Location---
Ordering his men to fire on us, they followed their orders promptly. Firing on us, Natasha waited for the searing pain, but quickly realized the bullets weren't reaching us. Realizing that as well, Ross ordered them to bring out the big guns while the helicopters got into position. Firing incendiary rounds and high explosive shells the fireworks didn't even tickle us.
"Clark, what exactly is going on?", Natasha asked me.
"I have an impenetrable barrier around my body that prevent me from getting injured. In addition it extends around people I am in contact with, and can envelope objects I lift so they don't buckle under their own weight.", I chuckled.
"I hope that wasn't a sneaky way of calling me fat.", she laughed.
"I don't think your fat, you right on the money.", I replied, "Perfectly proportioned, as it should be."
"You must say that to all your lovers.", she teased.
"Only when they are being stubborn.", I retorted.
"Oh I can show you stubborn. Saving me comes with rewards you know.", she playful told me as she bit her lip.
"Are you two ignoring me!?", Ross howled like a mad man.
"Jackass I am busy right now!!", I spat, "Go pound sand!"
"No he is right, we can save the flirtation till after you kick his ass.", she told me.
"Very well, you want to join or should I send you back to HQ?", I asked.
"HQ is fine, just make sure you make him suffer.", she told me.
Promising to do so, I teleported her back before facing Ross.
"Since you are in such a hurry to die, I will oblige you.", I said to him.
Getting lined up the helicopters unloaded on me firing their anti-Hulk payloads followed by a barrage of Vulcan cannon fire. Waiting for me to fall to the ground, Ross assumed they had blown me to bits when I didn't hit the ground. Picking up his radio he was going to order his men to attack Avengers HQ when my voice came over the radio.
"I am not impressed General Ross...", I sighed in a bored tone, "I thought you were supposed to kill me with that, I didn't feel anything. I thought a gentle breeze went by just a second ago."
Falling to the ground all bullets the fired at me came down in a downpour over all of them. Several of Ross's men started shaking with fear as they started to realize that they had pissed off someone out of their league. Hulk would have been injured at the very least by the barrage, but seeing me without so much as a scratch sent chills down their spines.
Melting their firearms the men tossed them to the ground in a hurry. With no other means to fight me, Ross changed into the Red Hulk and tried to attack me.
"You and I will talk after I deal with your men!", I said back handing him through several hillsides, "Now then...all of you scumbags are the ones who have been going around pulling people from their homes. Why don't you try taking me now like you do them? Want to try beating my face in, or maybe me try choking me? Better yet why don't you try using my family as collateral to force me to give up? All of you have use those techniques to make people yield."
"We...we were just following orders!!", they shrieked.
"That's what every single complacent grunt says when they are caught red handed. All of you did the job without a word, you sent people to an early grave because of your 'orders'.", I growled causing them troops to take a step back, "None of you actually cared, you were in it because you got to attack people. All of you are scum, and today I am cleaning house..."
Bolting the men scattered like rats as they fled for their lives. Hunting them down one by one I bathed with Eldritch flames as their screams filled the air. None of the men were being threatened, forced to do this, or even felt guilty for what they did. Ross had found dirt bags that liked to hide their crimes behind a cloak of serving their country. They had murdered countless innocent people using a few bad eggs to justify it. When the last soldier was reduced to ash, I turned my attention to the helicopters.
Trying to pull away the helicopters found that they couldn't move anywhere. Pushing the engines to the max they did everything they could to break free, even trying to continue pelting me with bullets on the off chance they might have been able to hurt me. Looking at them a smile I shook my finger at them, scolding them for attempting to leave.
"I don't know where you think your going.", I told telepathically, "You have lied to your superiors on behalf of General Ross enabling his behavior. Tonight's your last night on this planet! I hope you enjoy hell because that's exactly where I am sending you!"
Ripping them out of their cockpits I used my version of Penance Stare on the men before sending them and the helicopters plummeting towards the ground. Finishing off the last few snipers Ross had, I flew over to Ross who was only just getting out of his crater.
"Norman Osborn is your backer, and he is the one you wanted to replace Nick after exposing his Hydra plans. You wanted to make him fall so money was diverted to Osborn who in turn would strong arm the government into accepting your terrible plan.", I told him, "You are everything you claim you fight to kill. The people you yanked from their homes were honest, hard working people who wanted normal life. Unfortunately because they are different you made them out to be monsters, and forced Congress to consider strong measures to suppress them."
"They are animals!!", he snarled.
"No, you are the animal Ross. Anyone that tries to justify harming an innocent person to me is an animal.", I said as the area around was set ablaze with green and golden flames, "For the sins of killing the innocent, weaponizing humans, and taking the innocent smile of children...I sentence you to a painful end."
"I will die in service to my country!", he roared leaping at me.
"You don't get it Ross!", I said slamming him into the rock below us, "You aren't the big man on the block anymore...Osborn is going down with you too. He is next on my list of fuckers to visit."
Taking over for me for a moment Spectre glared at him.
"I am the one who decides the fates of wicked men like you. Your soul is stained with the blood and tears of the innocent. All of them cry out for vengeance against you, and they will receive their justice!!", he said grabbing Ross by the face.
Suddenly feeling his face start to burn. Much more intense than he had ever felt before, he howled in pain. Thrashing around trying to get free he kept hitting me, but never managed to even scratch me. Feeling my grip tighten on his face his instincts started screaming that he would die soon. Knowing that he gave up trying to get away, and stared at me.
"You can't save all of them all. We will catch them, and kill those mongrels!!", he shouted, "My death won't stop what's coming."
"I know that, but I can certainly stop it myself. You know nothing of what I can do General Ross.", I chuckled, "Comparing my abilities to the Hulk was a grave error on your part. Those innocent people will be freed even if I have to tear the military apart. Nothing on this planet is powerful enough to harm me Ross, they will either learn to coexist or deal with the consequences. People like you won't like me, and I can live with that. I can take anything you dish out, and give it back tenfold...little man."
With a snap of my fingers I forced Ross back into his human form. Trying to change back he found that he couldn't change anymore.
"You see that, I stripped you of your power. Is that something the Hulk can do?", I laughed.
Starting to age him he felt the changes almost instantly.
"What are you doing!?", he shouted.
"Fast forwarding your clock to the very end of you miserable life.", I said leaving him with only a few hours of life.
Flying him to one of his secret bases, I freed all of his prisoners and tossed him to them. Telling them who he was, I told them to do as they will with him. Saying he would die in a few hours anyways, none of them decided to spare him. Walking out of the prison I heard his death throws as they tore him apart for his misdeeds.
"Such a cruel twist of fate.", Spectre chuckled, "All of those people were once kind souls, but his actions turn them into killers. How ironic the very thing he made killed him without hesitation."
"I know, fortunately once he dies I will make sure they change back and get home safely.", I said.
---Avengers HQ---
Arriving a short time after returning the people to normal, and taking them home I went to see Natasha. Having made several calls to various X-Men to warn them of General Ross's plans, the last person she called was Nick. Demanding answers from him, he straight up told her he didn't know what she was talking about. Knowing that he was lying Natasha felt betrayed to know he was hiding this from her. Resigning from her position, Black Widow was waiting for me to arrive.
"Everything ok?", I asked.
"Is that bastard Ross dead?", she replied.
"His own creations tore him apart.", I chuckled.
"Good.", she said, "Nick is denying involvement, but I know he at least knew of it. That much money going missing along with researchers being pulled away had to of thrown up red flags to him."
"I am sorry Natasha.", I said.
"It's okay, I appreciate the save earlier. I was so emotional about them weaponizing children that I forgot to watch my back. You know my history right?", she asked.
"A bit.", I said, "I am willing to listen to your story."
Giving me a smile, I sat with her going over her history and what let her to this point. Hearing the sadness in her voice and looks she gave me, I knew she wasn't lying to me. Pulling her into my arms towards the end, I felt terrible for her that she had endured all of that pain and suffering.
"I am sorry Natasha.", I told her softly.
"It's okay, I know I have to keep moving forward.", she said, "Though...admittedly being right here is really comfortable. I see how your harem would agree to sharing you. This is peaceful, almost tranquil even."
"Oh there are other reasons too.", I chuckled.
"I do owe you for that save.", she giggled.
"If that is the case, I'd rather give you my affections as my girlfriend. I don't want to be another one of the guys you sleep with like a business relation. What I want is the whole package, not just a sample.", I stated.
"You asking me to date you?", she inquired.
"I am, I want to be the man you can rely on and know I have your back no matter what decision you make.", I told her.
"Any decision? Even if I decided to expose what the government has been doing to mutants?", she pressed me.
"I will be right there with making sure they listen to you.", I answered.
"If that's the case...I could love a man like that. Promise me you won't smoother me when I want to fight, and don't coddle me either.", she jabbed.
"All I ask is that I be the only man you share a bed with from now on.", I said.
"Agreed.", she promised.

When they explained to their parents that we were dating, their parents about fainted. I was there when they told them, and their mothers fell over while the Dads looked at me conflicted. They wanted to scare me because it was their daughters who were dating me, but they knew their threats were pretty empty against me.
"In the end our mother's convinced our dad's it would be okay.", they laughed.
"How goes getting the Agency?", Melissa asked the others.
"It's a lot of boring paperwork!!", Harley said jumping my back, "I didn't have to fill out that much paperwork even in med school!!"
"I have to agree.", Raven chimed in, "The amount is ridiculous."
Looking over at Maxima and Blackfire, the two were bored as hell doing paperwork. Feeling sorry for them I offered to take them with me today. Leaping at the opportunity, the two of them were more than willing to go.
"This paperwork bullshit isn't my thing.", Blackfire complained.
"You realize as a Queen you would have done that, right?", I teased.
"That's what my husband would have done. My job wouldn't have been to do mundane work.", Blackfire laughed.
"Blackfire...that is what mother and father both did.", Starfire corrected her.
"A woman can dream a little!! I hate all this political paperwork!! It's like we are signing our lives away!!", Blackfire huffed.
"What do you mean?", I questioned.
"We have been trying to hash it out, but they are giving us the run around.", Wonder Woman and Iris said showing me the mountains of paperwork they had.
Flipping through all of it, this paperwork was effectively binding them to this position. It would have meant they were effectively property of the UN, and would have to run any of their actions through the UN.
"This is ridiculous, I am not having you all tied up with this shit.", I said, "We are going to have a chat with the UN about this...who have you been working with?"
"A jackass that looks at our chests over our eyes.", Kara spat with irritation.
"Let's go pay them a visit.", I stated.
---UN Branch Japan---
After dropping some of the women at school, the rest of us continued to the UN branch office they had been working with. Walking inside I asked to speak with the person in charge immediately. Getting the impression I was angry, the secretary promptly called the head of the branch.
Going to his office I sat down with him to discuss the problem. Asking for details regarding the paperwork they were trying to make the women sign, the man became a bit nervous.
"Let me make this clear, we will have children when we want too, they will not be designated government property, and if that is a problem I would like it writing...because you'll be hearing from my lawyers.", I told him with a scary smile.
"I...I understand.", he said giving us only a few forms, "Have...have a nice day."
Leaving with that, the women gave me grins as we left to fill out paperwork.
---Fortress of Solitude---
"The prick looked petrified.", Ivy laughed.
"Yeah he did.", Yu agreed, "Fucking piece of shit."
"We will decide those things ourselves.", Selena purred.
"Funny you should say that.", Kara and Fury said, "So Clark...we uh...congratulations."
"You telling me the two of are pregnant?", I asked.
"Three weeks along.", they told me.
"Haha that is wonderful!!", I said kissing them, "I can't wait!"
"They aren't the only ones.", Raven informed me handing me her test.
"Yeah...", Yu said showing me hers.
"Oh my...uh...anyone else?", I asked, "Nervously."
We had been having regular intercourse so I wasn't all that surprised. It was the risk of having unprotected sex, but I was more than able to care for them.

Promising to be, I kissed the four of them and thanked them for this opportunity to have a family with them. Telling me not be an emotional sop, Fury seemed to still be happy I was fawning over them. Rumi stated that we would need to start making a nursery soon, she was all insistent on being ready for any eventuality.
"What do you mean?", I asked.
"You realize that our children could have a fusion of power, right? For example, what if they inherit my rabbit instinct with your strength!!", she warned me, "You have it easy because you can take me at full strength. Our kids might kill their partners in heat!"
"Put's a whole new spin on the term Killer Rabbits.", Natasha laughed.
"I resent that statement...though that would be a cool fighter name.", Rumi admitted, "This is serious though, my mother brought up that point too me."
"You didn't kill any of your boys you dated, I am not worried.", I told her, "We will raise our kids with self-control. The ones you should be more worried about are Harley and Mina's children."
"What!?", Harley shouted, "How is that a thing!"
"Harley...you like smashing things with a hammer...", Ivy stated, "You also have quite a mean streak if someone pisses you off, believe me...I know."
"That happened only one time, and that was because you burnt my teddy bear!!", Harley shouted.
"You still have a teddy bear?", Raven inquired.
"I am lots of the plushie animals!", Starfire informed us, "They are all different colors, and some of them talk!"
"Please tell me you aren't referring to any pets...", Blackfire sighed.
"No, they are the care of bears plushies!", Starfire said running off to bring a few over.
"This is certainly an interesting group...", Natasha laughed.
"You haven't seen anything yet.", Iris laughed, "Just wait till everyone is in the house...it's a circus."
"It's not that bad.", Zatana stated, "Believe me, I worked in several of them to make a living."
"It does get hectic though.", Raven added.
"Yeah, I can't deny that one.", Zatana agreed.
"We are bonding and having fun, there is no harm in that.", Diana said with a smile, "I would say we are a very healthy family overall. None of us are unhappy with life, and we are able to work through our issues."
"Agreed, this atmosphere here is a hell of lot better than what most of us had growing up.", Selena sighed, "It's good that the father\husband isn't a scumbag bastard that runs out on his pregnant wives!"
"I can drink to that.", Harley said.
"Agreed.", everyone else stated.
"I appreciate the compliment, but that isn't that high of a bar for someone to achieve...", I chuckled dryly.
"You'd think that, but it really is a high bar.", Mera giggled, "Remember, most of our fathers slept around behind our mother's backs leaving them to care for us. You may have a large harem, but you show up for dinner and always show up when we call."
"Yeah he does.", Natasha laughed.
"Speaking of that...", Fury said narrowing her eyes, "That bastard Ross, you didn't let him off easy did you?"
"Oh no, I let his victims tear him apart. The last thing I heard him say was...AHHHHHHH!!!", I mocked with a smirk.
"Haha!!", they laughed.
Deciding to take the rest of the day to relax, the women picked a movie for us to watch till I went to pick up the others.
