Chapter 33: Get Skill Card
"Shit Shit Shit, what the hell is that guy."
"Why is he so strong."
A fat middle-aged man was running through the forest at an inhuman speed, his eyes were blood red and there was a small horn on his forehead.
The middle-aged man was none other than a Demon.
"Thunder Breathing, Ichi no kata: Hekireki Issen (First Form: Thunderclap and Flash)."
From behind the middle-aged man was a white lightning that chased after him at a faster speed.
"Noooo!!!"
Before the middle-aged man could respond, his head floated in the air and his body continued to run until it finally hit a tree.
"Why..."
With a look of hatred and unwillingness, the middle-aged man's head turned to black ashes and disappeared.
"Huhhh...."
Rio let out a long breath, stuffing the Nichirin Sword into the scabbard, he walked to the location of the middle aged man's body which now had red ripples.
"It turns out that Demon is a Player, this is really an unexpected surprise."
Rio stuffed his left hand into the golden ripple, after fumbling for a few seconds, he withdrew his hand.

Rio looked at the red Skill Card in his hand with a look of contempt.
"No wonder this middle-aged man is so weak despite being a Player, it seems that this uncle's luck isn't that great to get this Skill from the Beginner Pack."
It had been 33 days since Rio left the Butterfly Mansion, there were only 10 days before the 2 month deadline ended.
For more than a month, except for eating and sleeping, Rio has always looked for traces of demons and eradicated demons.

Choosing a tree that has large branches, Rio climbs the tree, he is used to sleeping on a tree branch.
As for why Rio chose to sleep on a tree branch? It was because he had been attacked by a wild boar while sleeping on the ground, since then he never wanted to sleep on the ground again.
Tying his body with ropes so as not to fall while sleeping, Rio took out a pillow from the System Warehouse bought in the city.
Rio opened the Quest list on the status screen.

"I can't believe I've eradicated 99 Demons... Time seems to fly by." Rio said quite satisfied with his current achievement.
Rio always acts solo in his actions, he visits many villages and towns in order to eradicate as many demons as possible. He felt neither loneliness nor boredom thanks to the [Apathy] Skill which negated all those emotions.
Then Rio took out the three Skill Cards he obtained, two red Skill Cards and a yellow Skill Card
"Out of the 5 players I killed, I only got 3 Skill Cards, two of which are Rank F Skills and one Skill Rank F."
"Players are getting smarter to add more items to the System Warehouse."
A Rank D skill was [Stone Breathing] obtained from Osas, as for the two Rank F Skills were [Arima Kousei's Piano Talent] and [Mashiro Moritaka's Manga Drawing Talent].
"If I got this kind of Skill from the Beginner Pack, I would most likely choose to side with the Demons too."
Rio had a guess as to why most of the Players chose the side of the Demons, apart from being able to become stronger without having to train hard, it was also because the rewards they got from the Beginner Packs were so dreary!
For example, [Arima Kousei's Piano Talent] and [Mashiro Moritaka's Manga Drawing Talent], these two Skills are only at Rank F and have no use in battle.
Meanwhile, Players who are lucky enough to get skills that are useful for battle from the Beginner Pack will choose the side of the Demon Slayer Corps. After all, not all Players want to throw away their humanity, becoming a Demon is the same as throwing away their humanity because they have to eat humans.
"Hmmm… But each Skill Card has a different color… Rank F Skills are red and Rank D Skills are yellow, I don't know what color the other Rank Skills are."
Rio had another guess for the color order of the Skill Cards, but since he was short on data, for now he didn't think much of this matter.

Qeust 3's failure penalty is no joke it's a deduction of 10,000 Reincarnation Points!
Rio didn't think all the players had as many Reincarnation Points as his own, after all he completed the Hidden Quest which gave him a lot of Reincarnation Points. Of course, it is possible for other players to also complete the Hidden Quest.
"Players on the Demon side are also hunting for players on the Demon Slayer Corps side… The Reincarnation Room is fair enough."
Rio had met a Demon who was trying to kill him, after going through the words of the other party after he recognized himself as a Player, he knew that the Player on the Demon side also had a quest to kill at least one Player on the Demon Slayer Corps side and would get a penalty of 10,000 Reincarnation Points if he failed to complete the quest.
