Chapter 38: Utopia

I opened my mouth as something resembling porridge entered it. My ribs shook as I sighed. My head and body were resting on what felt like a bed of feathers. Despite my predicament the luxury of the castle was hard to ignore.

As soon as Don Claro opened the door a line of men dressed in black masks and suits lined the left and right side of the entrance. They all bowed to him as he entered. His innocent smile radiating as my body shook with pain tremors. I can't believe that I actually let this guy have his way with me to such an extent. To be honest that was killing me more than the physical wounds themselves. 

An older woman whose hair was slightly graying at the roots bowed to Don Claro before speaking a sentence of a melodic language. Based on the Spanish which I had learned in high school it seemed like it was something similar. Such as that of Italian. Don Claro's face brightened as he waved the woman over and placed me in her arms.
