Chapter 52: Outcasted
I knew this would happen.
I was drenched on the face to the chest with the cold water Haley spilled on me. And as if that wasn't enough, she even had her other friends shaming me.
"You deserve that!"
"Acting so arrogant infront of your friends, the nerve of this bitch!"
"Get the hell out of here!"
This… is the worst day of my life! And this isn't even my own life, it's my sister's life! Has she always held herself back from all these people!?
She's strong, right!?
Can't she just take 'em all down and beat them to death!?
What are you exactly, Lynn? Are you really a pushover?
Why are these people looking down on you so much!?
Weren't you the twin sister whom I looked up to?
You were so strong and smart!… but what kind of fucking life are you leading at school!?
"This is!—"
"ENOUGH!" Someone suddenly got into the scene and put everyone to silence. He even wiped my face and covered me with his coat. "Are you alright, Lynn?"
"Mr. Lucas…" how did he got here? From what I know, teachers have a seperate place to eat. So just… how? Is he following me around or something??
He gave me a gentle smile before confronting those damn bullies. And they all had a nasty look on their faces while staring at me.
"Ganging up on one helpless girl, we'll see what the principal would say about this later." Then he dragged me out of the cafeteria and brought me to the nurses' office.
"It's good I made it there in time. They didn't hurt you, right?"
"N-No, I'm fine." I said as I sat down on one of the beds.
"I knew you should've stop hanging out with those girls. They'll only keep on dragging you down and humiliate you."
"…yeah, I think I won't be hanging out with them anymore anyway."
"But seriously, don't make me worry so much. You should start doing what's better for yourself. Do you want to change sections? I think I can arrange that." He suddenly sat next to me and held my hand on my lap, it startled me when he did that so I pulled my hand away in an instant.
"Oh… sorry. Did I make you uncomfortable?"
"…what are… I… you…" so much has already happened, and I think I can't deal with another problem right now. "Please, just leave me alone right now."
He seem like he wanted to say more, but he just sighed and patted my back. "Sure. Just come to me if you feel like it."
After he left, I let out an exasperated sigh. "Damn this day is mentally exhausting!" Maybe I should just go home for today.
Coming out of the nurses' office, I can't help but look down to avoid those unwanted gazes. Though someone interfered with me again. "Lynn!"
"…what do you want?" It was the lonely girl in class… but I'm not so different from her anymore.
"I… erm, I just want to know if you're alright."
"I am. Thanks for your concern." I just can't stand dealing with anyone right now so I left her as soon as I can.
Then as I arrived at the classroom, everyone was shotting glares at me. But Haley was the one I was more wary of. She definitely has everyone in this class on her side, like how people back at the cafeteria backed her up.
When I got my stuff, I immediately rushed out and hid alone somewhere inside the school until classes are over.

Lynn's pov
Ahhh! the weekend is finally here!
I'm kind of excited to think about hanging out with Cain again. I really have fun hanging out with him, and moments with him melts all the stress away. He's a good friend that actually makes me feel better. Maybe I can finally repay him for all the stuff he spent for me last time, I got the money after all.
But... "ugh... it's so difficult to get off." Maybe I shouldn't have used the super glue on my wig.
Then all of a sudden, Lyde came in my room. He looked pretty exhausted... he must be having a hard time dealing with the people at my school.
"Are you... okay?"
"Lynn... do you... uhm... you..." eh? Is he trying to ask me something?
But then he just stared at me for a moment and smiled. "Come here." And it surprised me when he hugged me tightly.
"W-What? What the hell's wrong with you, Lyde?!"
"Nothing much. I just want you to know that I'm here for you."
"Ermm, oh-kay?" Suddenly getting a hug from my twin brother was definitely weird but it wasn't that bad. It actually felt nice, though this kind of thing is new to me.
Then I hugged him back for a few seconds before pushing him off of me. "Okay that's enough bud."
"Ah yeah, your right."
"Okay, you got other things to tell me?"
"Nah, I'm good. I'll be sleeping in my room now." He said as he got out of my room.
Well that was awkward...
