Right after the girl asked that question, Feng knew that he had gotten into big trouble.
'I didn't think that the Xiao family came here, in fact, the same boy from the ship told me that they must be in the original city their ancestors are from, why are they in the capital? ' while Feng was thinking, the girl is quite shocked and confused.
Before she thought much more, Feng knocked her out without anyone noticing. 'Hopefully, she'll think it was a dream ...' Xiao Feng thought as he left the library.
- Xiao Pov Family Girl -
"What where I am?" I wondered as I stood up.
'This looks like the library clerk's room ...' I thought as I looked at where I was.
"Oh, finally wake up Miss Fei." One of the librarians told me.
"What happened?" I asked a bit puzzled, everything was confusing.
"Well, we found you unconscious near the bookshelves in the history section." Said the receptionist.
At that moment I remembered.
"Maybe I saw a ghost ..." I said while scratching my head.
"... Are you referring to Master Xiao Feng?" The librarian asked.
At that moment my internal alert went off. "Did you ... did you see it too?" I asked alarmed.
The librarian nodded.
"I saw him go to the history section before you. From your reaction, I can assume that he shouldn't be here." Said the librarian.
The librarian was also from a noble family, so she knew the rumors and things, like that some years ago, the young heir of the Xiao house had disappeared.
But those things were almost impossible to corroborate information as the Feng family was very secretive about some things.
Normal people have no idea what happens in noble houses in full detail.
"The boy that you saw should not leave the library this must be a secret," I said to the librarian.
'I know why and how Xiao Feng disappeared ...' It was a constant guilty thought that I had.
I immediately left the library.

"I'm home!" Advertise to my family members.
"How did you do at the Royal Fire Academy for Girls?" My aunt asked me.
"All good, I met Princess Azula at recess, I thought she would be older than me, it was a surprise that she was only ten years old," I said to divert attention.
"Oh surprising!" My aunt exclaimed as she left where she was.
I immediately ran to my older sister's room.
As soon as I walked in, I saw her polishing a spear.
"Lang, something big happened today!" I told her to pay attention to me.
She turned her head towards me. "Hmm?"
"Today ... I saw Feng today," I said in a whisper.
My sister opened her eyes showing her surprise.
"Are you sure it was a hallucination !?" She asked me hysterically.
I shook my head repeatedly.
"Fei, you are forbidden to say a single word to father about this." My sister said with concern.
"Don't worry, I'm clear about that too," I told.
"Thank God you have high comprehension, Fei, I will try to find things about Feng, you continue with your studies and do not worry about anything, understand?" My sister asked me.
"Yes!" I replied.
Immediately, I left my sister's room, but right after opening the door, my father was there.
'Shit ... could he have heard us?' I wondered but was able to keep my composure in front of him.
My father had a dark and scary look, that was the way he was most of the time.
"Go away, I must speak to your sister about some matters." He told me in a cold, husky voice.
I just nodded and left.
Right after my father walked into my sister's room, but I quickly walked over to the door to listen.
"I've been talking to the council of elders, and we've come to an agreement that your sister, Xiao Fei, will be the new heir to House Xiao, I guess I shouldn't remind you why right?" Father asked Lang.
"I know, since she managed to manifest the Firebending, I knew there was no room for me anymore," Lang said without a trace of annoyance.
"At least you took it better than him ..." Father said before leaving the room.
I was going to leave quickly, I did not want him to know that I was spying, but before I could leave something took my shoulder.
"If I say back out, you should back down, or at least not get caught." My father said to then leave.
I started to gasp, the pressure he puts on people is impressive ... That's what we call the killer instinct.
