Chapter 24: Alpha Tori
Ryu looks confused when Ackerman and the others don't do anything, but instead get in the cars and drive away.
"You sure we should let her go?" Jet asks Ackerman and he nods.
"I don't know what's going on, but we'll see her again pretty soon, you know how this always goes." Ackerman arrives at the Palace looking for Tachibana and instead he finds Dean talking to Sensen about watching Tori till morning, "Hey, where's Ken?"
"Dropped me off and left I don't know, why are you back so soon?"
"We decided to fight another day, her trap was too obvious I couldn't take the risk."
Early morning Tachibana wakes up and Yuno is still sleeping. He watches her sleep for a moment before getting out of bed and taking a shower, making breakfast. The front door swings open startling Tachibana.
"The hell Ken, why's your phone off? Since when do you turn it off?" Ackerman takes a seat waiting for breakfast silently mouthing off to Tachibana.
"What's your glitch Rex?"
"I can't find Sensen or Tori anywhere and you're out here acting out of character turning off your phone, what was so important you had to cut yourself off from the rest of civilisation?"
"I just wanted some alone time with Yuno."
"Oh, you slept together."
Tachibana stops what he's doing and glares at Ackerman for using such a casual tone about it like it was actually expected.
"So, how was it?"
Tachibana tries to act serious, but instead a smile creeps up on his face, "I don't know what you're talking about."
Ackerman stands from his seat crossing his arms, "Dude, you practically interrogated me when Sensen and I started dating. I want to know everything word for word, and don't leave any dirty deeds out, want to re-enact the scene? Come on."
Ackerman puckers his lips and takes his shirt off.
Tachibana just shakes his head walking past him getting the plates.
"So? Where do we start kissing?"
Tachibana turns around and his smirk is now a full smile with rosy cheeks blushing non-stop, "In the car, miles away from here." He looks away trying to keep his mind from drifting back to last night.
He was driving to the house and there was absolute silence between the two of them until Yuno suddenly took of her seat belt and jumped him while he was driving, the car swerved out of control forcing him to pull up on the side of the road, "Yuno, what the hell?"
"Stop talking, you're hotter when you shut up."
Before he could react her lips were on his kissing him with hunger and need.
Ackerman smirks watching Tachibana day dream.
Yuno walks in grabs a plate from Tachibana's hand looking at the pan cakes, bacon, and chicken strips.
"Woah, when did you wake up?" Ackerman comments on purpose to snap Ken out of his X rated day dream.
Tachibana kisses her. Yuno lightly blushes with a giddy smile on her face.
"Last night was fun, huh!" Ackerman comments already munching on a chicken strip with a plate full of pancakes.
Yuno hides her blush behind her hair and Tachibana tucks it away gently stroking her cheek, "Sure was." Tachibana comments glaring at Ackerman to leave.
Ackerman grabs his plate and syrup from the cupboard leaving.
"You can relax now you're so flushed it's adorable" Yuno punches Tachibana and he catches her fist smirking, "You won't catch me by surprise like you did yesterday."
Yuno chuckles she just up and jumped Tachibana kissing him until his arms were roaming her body and she could feel his member below her was alive, "Take it off." She whispered in his ear not being very specific about what she wants off.
Tachibana threw off his shirt watching her eyes roam his body the approving smirk made his stomach jump.
The intimate eye lock between the two of them slowed down the hot and heavy energy that was in the air.
Tachibana's phone suddenly rang startling Yuno it felt like she was slapped with cold water.
She was in a trance and suddenly she was violently woken up.
Tachibana turned off his phone and she gave him a confused look.
"That could be important."
"Did I give you the impression you're not?" He cups her chin slowly leaning in, "You're more important." She blushes taking in his kisses and caresses.
"Yuno, are you going to eat that?" She snaps out of her day dream and takes her fork tasting the pancakes, "What do you think?" Tachibana knows it's good, but hearing her say it sounds much better.
"It's good didn't know you cooked. I should let you do it from now on."
"I think you'd like it better if you did the chef."
"Ehh, I already did wasn't that great I've had better."
"Uh huh! Says the girl who was a virgin just yesterday."
"Shut up, I watch plenty of hentai I learned a thing or two. I had you fooled up to the last second."
Ackerman snorts pouring himself a glass of orange juice, "Oh, don't mind me I'm not even here."
Tachibana gives Yuno a semi confused look, "You watch Hentai?"
Yuno nods with pride and Ackerman rolls over in laughter
"See." Yuno takes out her phone and shows him her search history, "I prefer to stream, want to watch with me?"
Ackerman chokes on his drink the shock on Tachibana's face is priceless, he can't figure out if she's serious or has lost her mind.
"So, how long have you been watching Hentai?"
"How long have you been watching porn?" Yuno asks back.
Ackerman enjoying the conversation starts laughing.
"Rex get the fuck out." Tachibana glares at Ackerman and he's on the floor tears rolling down his face, his hands on his core that is aching from laughing too much, "I don't watch porn."
"I can tell watch some."
Ackerman rolls over, half crying half laughing, his core is aching he can barely walk, "Oh man." Ackerman cries he can't stop laughing and the more he laughs the more it hurts.
"Alright, I'll take you up on that offer of yours." Yuno nods and pours them orange juice. Tachibana leaves the room to get his phone turning it on to find missed calls from Sensen.
"Yuno, do you know a child by the name of Hitori?"
"Nope, never heard of him."
Tachibana snorts and calls back Sensen who yells at him for 30 minutes straight. Tori woke up in a mood and she didn't know what to do she called Yuno and she wasn't answering her phone, so she called Tachibana and it was the same with him and Tori is currently still in a mood.
"First of all Hitori is not a cry baby and he doesn't wake up in moods I think you've got the wrong kid." Tachibana jokes but the room goes dead silent.
The truth about what he just said hits everyone and the possibility of his little joke being true makes Yuno's head roll.
She runs past Tachibana while he throws the car keys to Ackerman to wait in the car.
Tachibana snatches Yuno's phone out of her hand, "You're in a panic, calm down, he's okay, there's no way we spend a night to ourselves and suddenly the world is ending."
"I doubt that."
Tachibana takes her hand walking her to the car. The drive was quiet and Yuno practically ran out of the car before it stopped moving when they entered the Palace drive way.
She finds Tori in the garden with Kai and his roommate wrestling each other she can't tell if it's just playing around or they're serious.
Tori runs into her arms and just holding him close makes her day.
"I missed you so much Bobo, did you sleep okay?"
He wiggles out of her hold and runs into Tachibana's arms resting his head on his shoulders, "What's wrong?"
"They took Snow." Tori finally decided on a name for the wolf and now they take him away.
Tachibana isn't surprised it's an animal with an ability he's still not sure what more it can do and Kim would never let the opportunity to dissect it pass her by.
"He is sad, Dad."
"How do you know he's sad?"
"I can feel it."
Yuno glares at Tachibana she's jealous Tori ran to him and told him instead of her.
"I'll call Kim and ask her to bring him back." He missed very important calls and hung up on his mother yesterday so he has a list of people he has to call back and probably lie to.
Kai offers to take Tori from Tachibana but instead he clings to Tachibana refusing even Yuno.
"You boys try not to wreck my garden will you. I'll take Hitori until he cools off." Tachibana kisses Yuno, "You okay?"
"Yeah, is there anything I can do to help?"
"Actually, yes there is, could you enjoy your break and have fun like everyone else who's on break. Kai you're on teaching Yuno fun duty."
Kai chuckles and takes Yuno's arm dragging her to the new amusement park, "This is Rex, Rex this is my older sister."
"Rex? That's Ackerman's name nice to meet you Rex." Yuno extends her hand and he returns the warm greeting.
Tachibana walks into Kim's lab with Tori in hand, "Kim what the hell? Where is he?" Tachibana puts Tori down and gives him the go ahead to find Snow.
Tori doesn't run around in circles instead he runs straight for a specific room in the lab.
"He's hurt." Tori whimpers he can't reach the doorknob that was Tori proofed from the last time he was here.
Tachibana opens the door and Snow is on a bed sleeping. Tori faints and Tachibana's heart stopped for a split second, "Kim! What did you do?"
"Nothing, put him on the bed you're just overreacting."
"It would be a miracle if you did nothing."
Tachibana goes to wait in the car and sighs resting his chin in his palm wondering if checking on Yuno will make her worry or if not calling will worry her, "Dammit can't I catch a fucking break."
A knock on the window of his car gives him a clear answer. He glares at the figure on the outside that can't see the death glare he is giving putting all his frustration and hatred into it.
"Go to hell." He tells the figure and his door swings open.
"That's no way to talk to your mother Ken."
"Uh huh! Watch me. Go - To - Hell." He enunciates the last three words slowly and closes the door locking himself in the car.
"Ken we need to talk."
"Not now anytime except for now. I've got problems bigger than yours."
"I just wanted to meet Hitori. Kim has been talking about him non-stop."
"She just tried to kill him and his puppy you'll find him inside."
She walks in and finds Tori sleeping.
Tachibana hovers close to him brushing his messy curls and watching Kim walk into the room trying to figure out what's making Tori sick or why he fainted.
Kim first checks his temperature orally and jumps back startling her mother.
"Oh my Gosh, his teeth. Hitori's fangs." She grabs a chart of his teeth from before because Yuno brought him here when he wasn't teething by 5 months old but now he has sharper fangs compared to the normal baby teeth he had and he even has four not two.
"What's wrong?" Tachibana cocks a brow wondering why Kim is holding the teething chart and why she looks ready to dissect Tori.
"The wolf has an ice ability and Hitori has sharp teeth I don't get what the wolfs ability is but I think whatever this is it's primal to it.
"I mean wolves naturally seek out an Alpha and a pack adds strength to each other. I think that's what happened here or what is happening. I swear I didn't touch the wolf no one here did."
"So, he's okay? That's all I care about."
"I won't say yes but I'm not saying no either."
"Yuno is going to kill you and to save my own ass I'm helping just so you know." Tachibana calls Yuno and tells her that everything is fine on his side while she is having the worst day out everywhere she goes the paparazzi are there.
If it wasn't for her 2 personal body guards she'd be in deep shit.
"Everything is fine on my end too talk to you later." She hangs up and sighs hiding under a bridge while Kai and Rex are M.I.A.
"Where's Setsuno when you need him?" Yuno calls Setsuno to come to her rescue she just wants to go home.
