Chapter 1: Chapter 1
(A/N: Chapter 1-7 are from before I took a break, looking back at it there are some stupid things but I've decided to keep it all, those chapters will be closer to cringe than everything afterwards.. hopefully)
Calm.
That's what I would describe myself right now despite what happened. Today was just like any other, ride the bus, get to school, suffer through everything I would almost certainly never need later in life, and then get out and sleep. Rinse and repeat and you have what I do each day.
I got on the bus like usual, popped my headphones in and listened to music like normal, I looked out the window like normal, expecting to see vehicles pass like any other day but what do I see instead?
A truck on a crash course directly for the back area of the bus where I just so happened to sit. I could do nothing but widen my eyes in equal parts shock, fear, and sheer annoyance as I wouldn't be able to do so many things that I wanted to in life.
I've been told that your life flashes before you die, at least I've read that it happens but nothing like that happened to me, one moment I saw the driver's face twist into fear and horror and the next a large crash happened and I was no more.
There were a couple things I expected after death if I were conscious in any way but I surprisingly got none of the things I expected.
What I got was a cliché . A fucking cliché.
Looking in the mirror, I was met with confused black eyes looking up and down at myself at what I could look at and only describe as…average. I looked average, nothing that stood out, nothing defining, just average.
"I got reincarnated…as Tadano, how the actual fuck?"
*Knock* *Knock*
"Brother? Hurry up!"
"Give me a sec!" Tadano Hitomi, Tadano's or I guess now "my" sister, banged on the door and rushed me. Trying to get through this in some way, I splashed water on my face, hoping for this all to be some dream but nope, still here.
I finished up, let Hitomi go in and I left, no breakfast for me today, my mind is too busy running through everything for me to be hungry.
Absently walking to school, I ran through my thoughts before having to accept it. I died, and now I'm alive again, can't do anything about that. Reincarnated in a slice of life manga, now that is a title of some manga I probably would've read knowing myself.
Either way, now I just gotta figure out what exactly I'm gonna do. Live like normal? The most plausible answer, this is a slice of life comedy manga after all, no aliens trying to blow up the planet or ghosts fighting souls so definitely real safe. I don't have any power up since I've tried a couple things on my walk so unless something completely unbelievable or cliché happens then I'm stuck as a normal human being-

Hm okay, looks like an average system panel, sadly no skills but that's to be expected. What's the group chat part of the system though?
Thinking on it, I brought out my phone and went to messages, this is probably what I have to do right?

Administrator? Well it makes sense if I'm the owner. Wonder who will join.

Well, this is weird. Friendly Slime, if I'm right then it's probably Rimuru but "Gluttonous Hunter"? Reminds me of a character from a manwha I read but I'm not entirely sure.
[Gluttonous Hunter: @Administrator T, you are the one who made this, am I correct?]
[Administrator T: … Yes you would be correct, however whatever you may be thinking is probably wrong so how about we all share our names and then you two can question whatever, fair?]

We started to chat, got to know each other a little as we all shared a bit of our experiences in the short time we had before this came up.

[Kang Jinhyeok: Demons huh? @Administrator T, from what you've said I am not familiar with these, correct?]
[Administrator T: Yes that's right. These demons are different, probably similar but different. They have no magic but they do feast on the flesh and blood of humans. Though you two could take care of them easily so don't worry!]
Tapping on the prompt, the participants changed from 0/3 to 1/3, soon the other two followed and we were ready to begin.
[Beginning Tutorial Mission.]
My body began to glow slightly as I felt a warm sensation cover me, it felt relaxing really. Taking a deep breath, I steadied my nerves for what was about to happen.
I, a human who has literally no powers, will have to rely on both Rimuru and Kang Jinhyeok to get through this since I have no experience, no powers, and nothing really helpful other than my own knowledge.
Let's just see how this goes.
