Once alone in the hall, Eryx rose to his feet, towering over the woman who now appeared small and vulnerable in his eyes, but her gray ones reflected the opposite.

Those eyes held powers of their own for sure.

"You wanted to speak with me, go on." He prompted, and Valda subconsciously took a step back so she could look him in the eye, and not in the chest.
