Chapter 381: C381- Trigger Buttons
It was a whole week when the even died down but Fur found himself wandering if he really had that strength to hurt someone. He continued to review the footage. The strength he portrayed that time is not from his own. This is not him! But it does not change the fact that he easily got controlled and manipulated.
"Few! get your self together." He muttured as he clicked the mouse to pause the clip.
"Your still watching that?" Agsus inquired.
"Yeah, How can I allow myself to be caught in such act. On top of that my hand eas raised against the kids." Fur explained.
"Nobody blames you. Beside we all know that you are not capable of such act." Agsus encourages as he yawned as took a nap.
"Don't you feel left behind that we are the only one who is not like them?" Fur voiced out.
"No, your words back then helped me." Agsus reminded.
"Yeah right." Fur ended the topic as he watched the same clip and bow his head.
"How in the world did that kind of spirit tried to posses him?!" Fur shivered when he caught a certain view. His shadow got sucked in by something strange. It had tentacles, the tentacles devoured his shadow. The strange tentacles transformed into his shadow. Fur literally heared his heart beat as he eyed the shadow lurking behind him. It was not from him, it's a new and beastly one.
From the light that was reflected on the screen. The black figure on his side become cunning and violent. It started to form a dangerous arrangements. Fur tried to fight back and scream yet his voice got called in and trapped within his vocal cord.
The whole room turned into a complete pit of darkness. Fur losed all the ground he had and Agsus found himself being yanked with a vicious grip. Agsus gasped in for breath as he felt his throat got thightend.
Agsus clutched the pillow beneath his head. His nail burried within the pillow as he sweat got doubled. His back got damp as Agsus prayed that someone would open the door. A loud bang occured behind Fur who had losed his self. Ole kicked the door as it dangle in a destructive manner.
Ain sliced the space as Urchin froze the time. Agsus was safely rescued.
Selah and Cheirth aided Agsus who almost had himself get killed. He was coughing and choking. It was like a nightmare but the thing is it was not.
"He kept watching the clip then suddenly he started to act that way. It was creepy and frightening." Agsus stated.
Urchin can feel the refute when he paused the time. He can fell that the fierce interruption was not from Fur. It is from the enemy. Urchin send his signal, Ole and Ain prepared themselves.
Ain and Ole are in their position. As soon as Urchin lifted his trance. Fur attacked them aggressively.
"You are the reason I felt out of place. I got isolated from who I really was." Fur murmured His eyes were bloody and dark. It was with anger and hatred. The bitterness in his voice was evident. Ain blocked Fur's slap but his word had a deep cut from his heart that caused him to hesitate.
"You, are not you right now!" Ain barked back.
"Are you sure that this is not me?" Fur smriked like the real one.
"Our God who establish our character to fut the destiny you have choosen for us. Indeed we are allotted for greater things. We are reserved for what you planned for us. We believe in your design of us. Help us to lead this friend out of darkness. Your forgiveness and mercy has embraced us. Amen."
Ole prayed as her body changes into a goddess in her armour. Her lock were threaded like a rope. Her shield were made of bones and her eyes turned in bloody moon.
She launched herself to rip out the shadow that was causing a hirewire from Fur's personality. Fur scoffed as he used his hand to halt Ole's bone. Fur's wrist broke from the impact but his mouth laughed in a hysterical way. Ole had no choice but to pull back.
"How dare you use his body as a weapon. His wrist is his gift!" Ole angrily roared.
Urchin gripped his second hand and prayed.
"The God who behold the timming. Your time table is perfect. I hereby surrender this trance to you. I invite you to met this person right where he is. Deliver them out! Amen." Urchin was able to devide a supernatural time and the natural one. The shadow started to act violently. Fur started yelling from the pain as well. Ain had to avert his eyes. The shadow exposed itself as Ole slaughtered it. Fur was about to collapse but was caught by Ain.
"You did well buddy." he whispered.
"Sorry for passing out." Fur mumbled.
Selah treated Fur's wrist. It was bad enough that the ordinary hand was used to block Ole's monstrous strength.
"It will be fine. It got bended from lifting something heavy. His fingers were numb as well. It's a good time for him to rest." Selah concluded.
"Lately, He seems to be worried and tired." Agsus spoke.
"We need to help him with workload. His ahnd is too blessed that everything it touches becomes a source of income." Saga stated.
"No, it's because he is made that way." Ain muttured.
Ain cannot forget the line given by the shadow. They invade Fur's life, they allowed him to be part of the family and unconsciously forgot that he is not the same as them. Ain reflected that Fur is not from their era. He was once in love with Lila and now he raised the children of the woman he was inloved with. It's ironic how Fur easily got attached with them. Ain stared at the night sky and recalled a vivid memory of the tent pitching days where the future met the past.
