"You f*****g bastard! Get out of my house!" Ian hissed, punching Jacob hard on his face.

Jacob stood still, his face was bleeding and his heart was aching but he kept quiet and stood like a rag doll, making Ian more angry to the point of picturing him in a coffin.

It was almost midnight but the quietness associated with night time had long departed in the house, instead the heat of Ian's anger dwelled and dominated the whole building. All the maids except Amelia who was trying to console Ivy had left the main staff for the safety of their lives.

Jacob went up to the balcony with rage and disgust - Ian's anger had clouded his head and brain and the condition was so horrible that he was in the mood to just destroy and rip apart any being in his way.

Niel was listening to Ivy's side of the story, which was all Ivy wanted from her husband - a listening ear.
