Chapter 50: Research
Demolus returned home and spent his time playing with Papi and Suu while teaching them things which went well, at least for Suu because Papi had a really short attention span which was a bit troublesome.
Time passed by fast and it was already time for dinner and it seemed they had some uninvited guests. At first, he didn't think much of it thinking that it was only Smith again but was surprised a bit to see the four monster girls he met no too long ago coming here with Smith.
He didn't expect them to come here but, what did he expect from Smith, she just does whatever she wants most of the time. And it seemed they were going to join them for dinner so while greeting the girls he led them to the kitchen while going to help Kurusu.
As he did so he thought about getting himself a maid which seemed like a good idea. At the same time, he was thinking about how to make more money which gave him some ideas. Instead of writing mangas or novels, he could become a singer or an actor but he didn't feel like working for someone else. 'How troublesome,' Taught Demolus while he finished up some dishes.
As everyone was finally seated, and ready to eat the food that was plated before them, and as Kurusu and Demolus took their seats everyone started eating. Everyone seemed happy and were chatting at the same time, Demolus was talking with Tionishia who was sitting right in front of him.
Demolus decided to just call her Tio, after all, her name was a mouthful. As they were talking they got to know each other better and he could feel the warm and loving nature she had which reminded him a bit of Shizuka.
Tio on the other hand was a bit nervous after all Demolus had this aura of royalty which made her think it might be hard to talk to him. But to her surprise talking with him was far easier than she expected. And she was happy that she was wrong after all talking with him made the time fly by faster than she could realize.
Everyone was happily chatting and eating when the tv which was left turned on for some reason started showing what happened at the store where the orc incident happened. This caught the attention of everyone sitting at the table, The tv showed a picture of the M.O.N. team where everyone noticed Demolus wearing the uniform and walking out of the store with the rest of the group.
Demolus could feel more than one pair of eyes on him, but Smith started explaining to everyone why he was there and the contract that he signed what it entails for him and what he can and can't' do. Most were surprised they didn't even know that you could modify the contract.
The evening was full of chatter, questions, and answers but in the end, it was time for Smith and the team of M.O.N. to leave. Everyone was saying their goodbyes while promising to visit another time, Demolus was hugged by Tio and because of their size differences, his face was buried in her breasts which were huge and surprisingly springy.
Cerea on the other hand seeing this pouted but didn't say anything, she knew how Demolus was and knew that she will be with him for the rest of her life but seeing this made her feel jealous which made her decide to do it with him again tonight. After all, she wanted to somehow mark him as hers even if she knew he will have more girls in the future.
After some time everyone was done with their goodbyes and Demolus asked Smith if she could change some jewels into money for him. Smith didn't really mind, for her, something like this was easily done but she didn't expect him to pull out half a store of them. This made her dumbfounded as her black glasses fell down, but she recovered soon and asked Tio to help her carry the bags full of all sorts of jewels.
Demolus hearing that he will get the money tomorrow was excited to see how much it will be. But calmed down and decided to do some research on this world and what kind of novels, music, were popular and what already existed, when Smith and the others left.
As their guests left Demolus helped Kurusu to clean everything up and after finishing up went to his room to search for information on his laptop that he bought before going to the world of HOTD. And as he started browsing the internet he was surprised how many things this world had. There were so many manga and novels but it seemed that they weren't as popular as idols for some reason. The idols were no ordinary, after all, the idol groups that were the most popular were made up of only monster girls.
Demolus knew that being one must be hard for them, after all, the idols represent their race and that would be a lot of pressure from their race or species right. It was a hard job and the idols needed the talent to actually become popular because an idol needs to know how to dance and sing and be in sync with his or her teammates.
As he continued reding he found that there were boy bands too which were even more popular then the girl ones. Seeing this Demolus assumed that most likely the population of this world had many more females than males.
As he dived deeper in his search for information he didn't notice as the door to his room opened and someone entered. As Demolus was reading all the information he found interesting, he felt the back of his head enveloped in a soft sensation like he was lying his head on a fluffy pillow.
He knew who this was from the sensation and turning his head he saw Cerea there leaning forward while blushing and smiling at him while her breast pressed against him. She started hugging him but was a bit startled when Demolus stood up from the chair that he was sitting on and kissed her.
Demolus knew what she wanted and decided to go for it after all he could continue reading later first comes his girl or girls after all.
