Chapter 80: Awareness comes with a price

The sound that the elevator had made reminded me to get off and head for work already, the elevator doors had slid open. However, I made no attempt to move from my current position. I was leaning on the cold steel wall for support. I felt so lightheaded and unmotivated to report today.

Maybe, I should have stayed behind and at least try to find something to keep me busy and distracted while stuck inside the apartel. Or I could have gone to Stella's studio and pester her once again.

I shook my head. No, I can't go back to Stella's or she might think something was up again, which was actually the case. However, I can't always just run to her whenever I feel like doing so. She has a life and she has her own troubles to deal with. It's not going to be fair if I keep being clingy towards her.
