Chapter 1: Blazing one
"You seem depressed lately" I said to her as we walked through the sidewalks. it was our first day of high school.
My name is Akira kagatsuchi by the way. I'm a fairly handsome young man if I do say, with platinum blond hair and light blue eyes, standing at 5'8, I'm fairly tall too.
"No, it's just that after dad disappeared, mom has been out of it, that's probably affecting me too" she said, she had short black hair and striking violet eyes, her name is Hinata sakaguchi, my fiancee.
That's right, we were engaged right away when we turned sixteen years old, we both were childhood friends and our families were friends. of course we couldn't deny when they had already set it in stone by promising that their children will get married before we were even born.
"It seems so, but you can tell me if there's something bothering you, you know" I turned to her as I said to that. I know what was happening with her. her father had gone missing and her mother is now a religious fanatic, Not that I care about anyone but her.
"Yeah i kno-" Before she could continue, a guest of wind appeared out of nowhere and we both had to close our eyes, what the hell?
When we opened it, the scenery was completely changed. An unfamiliar feeling began to creep up on me as I looked around.
'what the hell is this malicious air here? this is making me uncomfortable.'

I heard a voice inside my head announcing something, I shrugged it off as I looked at where we were, the place is a road in the middle of two small hills.
There were destroyed carriages around, but I quickly calmed down and assessed the situation.
'Were they attacked? who was it? how are we here?' I turned towards Hinata as we heard some voices coming from the side.
"Hey, there is another two right here!" Three people came to our view, they looked like thugs.
"Ain't she a young woman? oh, this ones quiet good too! we're gonna get big bucks boys!" The one in the middle said as he took a knife, spinning it around in his hands.
"They're far too fine to be sold!" The one one the right side exclaimed as they looked at as like some sort of object, tch disgusting.
"What's the harm in getting a taste of her first?" The one wearing Armor said excitedly, he had a wicked smile on his face.
'Ha? are they talking about R***ng her? bastards, I'll kill them!' Although I'm slightly timid and weak doesn't mean I can't punch these guys teeth in.

Oh, I'm suddenly feeling powerfull! i need to calm down and analyse the situation, it would be helpful if I had something like those systems to help me.

'Again I heard that emotionless voice, I wonder if she hears it too?' Anyway now let's focus on these guys, one of those guys went to Hinata and the two others were walking towards me.
"I'm gonna have fun with you boy!" One of them suddenly exclaimed with a sick smile on his face as he leaped towards me, I quickly jumped away and now stood in front of Hinata who appeared to be frozen.
"Hey Hina! snap out of it! we need to take care of these guys? did you hear the voice?" I asked her as she nodded stoically as she took her bag.
"I heard it too, come on let's punch the shit out of them" I said as I dashed toward the two bastards who appeared to be frozen.
'what the hell? is it me or they stopped? no that's not it. It seems like my mind is moving too quickly, so if I use my Unique skills in tandem, with [Berserker] giving me physical boost and [Great Wiseman] giving me mind boost, I will be unstoppable.'
But still, I must not forget myself, if I want to protect myself and Hinata, but I don't have to worry too much, she can protect herself, after all she is strong, I can see that.
I punched the one with the Armor with all my strength, what happened was what I did not expect at all.
The guy turned into a splash of red colour as blood sprayed from his bottom half that still stood there.
'what?' I felt sick, I just killed someone, the world seems frozen as I stare at the half body.
'But it is also for our survival, these guys were not going to show us any mercy if we were powerless.' Yes that's right, what I did was only right, this is an eat or be eaten world.
I don't want to be in the position of these guys, I don't want to be powerless, I will survive, no matter what! don't worry Hinata, I will protect us.
'That's right! how can I protect myself if I die? how can I protect her if I die? I will make sure I will survive no matter what!'
I killed the other guy with one punch too, but I held back a bit, so there is less blood.
"Hey, you okay?" I heard a voice ask me as I looked at the girl who came here, to this world with me.
"Yes, let's go. we need to understand this world and look for shelter." I said as I turned around and looked through the carriage, i found some cloaks and three blue potions in small containers, I think these are healing potions or something.
"Hey! Hinata, I found these cloaks in here!" I called her from inside the wreakage as I left the carriage with the cloaks and gave one to her.
The cloaks were white in colour, I could feel some type of energy lingering in the fabric. it seems like magic, is it really?
We both wore the cloaks and left, but I have to say we looked awesome in the cloak.
"We can survive this world Hinata, no we will survive." I said as we were leaving.
"Is that so.... you know, I actually think I can have a good life here at least" She said as she turned to me and the side of her lips rose up to a small smile.
It's been months since I've seen her smile genuinely like this.. Very well, I promise you, we shall live a nice and good life here, we shall survive and be powerful, we shall live to the fullest here.
