Chapter 3: (3)
Cath right now was sitting on Frisk's lap while eating apple slices. She is getting patted by Frisk's small hands which felt nice so she didn't mind. There was also this uncomfortable feeling she was getting from her cheeks because it kept getting poked by Chara who was laying on her stomach on the couch.
'God or whatever, what did I do for this to happen? I had done nothing wrong in my life that deserves this kid of punishment. I only remember not paying the debts I owe to my classmates when I was in highschool.'
Cath was having a monologue inside her mind thinking about what she did for all of this to happen to her.
'I have to get out of here. I need to get as far away from Chara or else she might kill me. I also want to go back to my house, just lazing around not worrying about anything excluding money. AND what was that hole and why did everyone in the hotel lobby seem fine except for me? How do I even leave this place!'
She was wondering if there was any hope of going back to her basic and normal modern world. Cath also realizes that she isn't underground after seeing that there were clouds and clear blue sky when she fell from the hole. She questions if this was even Undertale anymore since they're not underground from the looks of it.
Cath was deep in thought, thinking about how and when could she possibly leave. Meanwhile Chara was thinking how a human like Cath was even there.
'How can Cath be here? Frisk and I haven't encountered any humans aside from each other. I'm pretty sure Me and Frisk are the only humans here though. Unless there's something weird happening?'
Chara has watched Frisk make every single monster her friend and free them from the underground. Which after Chara then asked Frisk if she wanted to reset the world and see different possible endings to the world which Frisk accepts thinking she could be friends with everyone again only for changes to happen in the world.
For example, Chara and Frisk fell underground at the same time. When this happened Chara was beaming with joy since she was finally free instead of just guiding Frisk to genocide while Frisk was a bit wary of her. Naturally that meant that the timeline was a bit broken making it that Chara wasn't the first human to ever fall. Making it so that she and Asriel never became friends. Of course Chara didn't care about him since he betrayed her trust when he didn't kill the villagers on the surface that one time. There was also this one reset where Humans were the only race without monsters so Chara decided to kill everyone she could but Frisk just told Chara to reset.
Needless to say, Frisk also stopped Chara from hurting monsters by convincing her. Chara agreed to it but only because killing them didn't matter to her anymore since she is now alive and didn't need to get Frisk's LV to 20 to possess her body.
Chara liked this change of pace as well. She could just watch Frisk interact with everybody while also being able to talk and act with other monsters. Obviously Chara killed the humans that abused her that one time but Frisk loaded the world back so that they never died. Chara got angry at Frisk for that but as time passed her anger disappeared.
Chara just decided to watch Frisk befriend everyone every reset, of course she also befriends them as to not be bored and because she wanted friends and they reseted again leading them here.
(A/N : Is this too confusing? I can remove it if you guys want.)

Coming back to Cath, She was now done eating her apple slices. She looks at Chara who kept poking her cheeks. She got a bit irritated and told her off.
"Cawaaaa Stop it!" She says with a bit of irritation.
Chara whoever just smiles because she found her adorable and kept poking her chubby cheeks.
Cath didn't know how to stop her so she just looks at the person she trusts here the most.
"Fwisk! Tell Cawa to stop pwease." Cath pleads to Frisk with her newly acquired puppy eyes.
Frisk saw her acting cutely and couldn't help but comply after seeing Cath and told Chara to stop. Chara just shrugs them off and layed down on her back. Right now they were watching on their television a show with a rectangle robot as the main character.
They were watching the show peacefully with Cath on Frisk's lap until they heard the door open.
*Creak*
The door opens and a tall figure arrives inside the house. It was a tall woman that is 6'8 with white hair with white short horns placed on top of her head. She has dark red eyes while wearing a long purple robe that displays the delta rune on her chest.
(A/N : Sorry guys no mommy goat. I don't really like animals with anthropomorphic features so I changed them. I will change the characters I like to whatever I want them to look like.)
The woman arrives holding a bag of plastic to what Cath assumes are groceries. Chara took notice and takes her vision off the television and looked at the woman.
"Tori, You're back!" Chara exclaims happily to the woman.
'Wait that's Toriel? Isn't she supposed to be a human goat or something?' Cath looked at the woman in front of the door and wondered how Toriel, the care taker of the ruins to have features like a human.
Chara jumped down the couch and headed towards Toriel with a expectant look.
"Tori did you buy have the chocolate I wanted?" Chara says while smiling expecting chocolates from Toriel.
Toriel looks at Chara with a smile.
"Indeed my child, I have bought you your favorite chocolate." Toriel says with her eyes closed.
She then puts her other hand inside the plastic bag and picked up a chocolate bar and hands it over to Chara. Chara took the chocolate bar and heads back to the couch.
Toriel sighs with a smile and walked to the couch. Arriving in front of Frisk, she saw that someone was sitting on Frisk's lap. She then realizes that it was another human and it was a toddler.
"Frisk... Is that!" Toriel says with a shocked expression while looking at Cath.
"Mhm." Frisk nods and raises Cath to Toriel. Toriel then puts down the plastic bag she was carrying on the table and held Cath with both of her hands.
Cath kept looking at Toriel with a happy look thinking that there is another person who is nice by her side aside from Frisk.
'Comfy... Warm...'
Cath was starting to get tired from thinking too much about what she should do and fell asleep on Toriel's comfortable hands.
When Cath fell asleep in her arms Toriel started patting Cath's back to make her feel cozy. Toriel didn't know where to put Cath down since there was only 3 bedrooms for each one of them. She decides its best if Cath sleeps on Frisk's bed since Frisk doesn't move much when sleeping unlike Chara. Toriel didn't want Cath to sleep next to herself since she might accidentally hurt her while sleeping since she was so big.
Toriel heads towards of the rooms and enters it. She then places Cath down the bed gently as to not wake her up. After placing her down, she patted her a bit and left the room silently. She left the door open so if Cath were to wake up without them knowing Cath can leave her room.
Toriel heads back to the living room seeing Frisk and Chara on the couch watching TV. Toriel sat down beside them then worriedly asked both of the duo.
"Frisk. Chara. Tell me children, How did that toddler get here?" Toriel says with a gentle tone.
Chara, knowing what has transpired tells Toriel what happened. She tells her how She was walking towards the fields when she heard something wail. Then that she saw Cath surrounded by clothes and how she was all alone so she decided to take her home.
Hearing the story of what has happened while she was gone. Toriel sighs thinking of what she should do the toddler. If she should find the parents of Cath or Adopt her like Frisk and Chara.
"Did you see anyone nearby when you were there?" Toriel asks.
"Nope! Didn't see anybody there when I picked her up. I wonder how someone could leave a cute toddler like Cath." Chara replies while eating her chocolate.
Toriel was now considering taking Cath in since if Cath's parents abandoned her in the field alone then they shouldn't have Cath back because she doesn't trust that they won't do it again.
Toriel stood up from the couch and head towards the kitchen but not before telling the two kids what to do.
"Frisk. Chara. Could you please take care of Cath while I'm cooking our dinner."
Chara and Frisk not noticing it was already starting to get dark outside nods. Toriel smiles at the duo and continues towards the kitchen. Chara and Frisk looked at each other and nodded.
Frisk then jumps down the couch and immediately head towards her room. Chara then follows her since she wanted to see Cath sleeping. Chara was a bit disappointed Cath wasn't going to be sleeping beside her since she thought of Cath as adorable.
They arrive inside and saw Cath sleeping comfortably on Frisk's bed. Chara and Frisk silently took two small chairs and placed them in front of the bed. Then they just stared intently at Cath who was sleeping while making sure that nothing bad will happen to her.
