Chapter 3: Chapter Three

Eren is ten years old and I am thirteen years old.
You are supposed to start training at twelve, but for the elite corps you must be thirteen because of how difficult their training is. Yesterday I had signed up to become one. Today they are going to test me to see if I have the potential to become one of the elite.
I must be able to kill 5 Titian's with no training. Once I do that they will see my potential is good enough, and will let me join them. Once training is over I am expected to be able to take thirty Titian's by my self.
My hairs on the back of my neck started tingling. so I ducked and a closed fist flew over my head. I turned around and saw a man about 5'4 with a black bandana,black combat boots,black pants,and a black t-shirt. I dropped down and swept my legs out under his,but he jumped up dodging it and held up a time out sign with his hands.
He said to me "you passed the test and are worthy to join the Elite Corps. We will train you for two years. Before we send you on your first mission." I stared at him dumbly before saying "so we're not gonna fight? Man I was just getting warmed up." I said dejectedly "heh,I would have wiped the floor with you kid." He said then he stated walking away before saying "Follow me,were going to our headquarters to train you." "Alright,Also I would've won our fight." I said as I followed him down the road into a Forrest out side of wall Rose . Then suddenly we stopped in the middle of the Forrest in front of a cave. "Here we are!" He exclaimed with pride
It looked like a regular cave on the side of a mountain except that the cave had a statue of a Phoenix in front of it. I asked the man next to me "why is the statue a Phoenix and not something else?" "It's because when a Phoenix dies they turn to ash and out of that ash comes a baby Phoenix. In a way it represents us,When an elite dies another takes their place. It is also similar to Titian's no matter how many you kill twice that amount will show up." He told me in a sage like tone of voice.
Then we started walking inside and the cave slowly grew wider and taller the further we walked until eventually you couldn't even see the walls. Up ahead I saw a heavily fortified castle equipped with Spears along the wall and a lava pit surrounding the drawbridge. so the only way in would be through the main gate.
Heading over to the drawbridge the man next to me...it's a little annoying saying that so let's call him bob. Anyways we were at the drawbridge when bob let out a bird sound waited three seconds then let out a different bird call. After his call the draw bridge lowered and what I saw inside surprised me.
Inside was a platoon of 50 men all lined up in formation. Walking inside they all stepped forward and said "SIR! We have reports of a Titian horde heading towards Wall Rose!" Bob replied "Get the horses ready were moving out! Then he looked at me and said "here's your first mission newbie take out at least ten Titian's and don't die." "Yes Sir! uhhh..." I said not knowing his rank. "You May address me as Elite Commander Hades" he said to me "Yes Sir! Elite Commander Hades Sir!" I yelled followed along with a salute.
"Sir!" A random soldier said running up to Commander Hades "We have received information that wall Rose is sending a big group of civilians to fight the Titian's and we were ordered not to interfere Sir!" The Commander looked at the soldier in surprise before yelling out "Cancel the preparations we aren't hunting our prey today,but we will train!" Every soldier stopped what their doing and saluted screaming "Yes Sir!"
So for the next two years I was training with Commander Hades sparring with him training my human body to where I am strong enough to rival a Titian's strength. Although he doesn't know this but if I used my powers or if I shifted to my true form I could lift this whole planet.
Today is the day Eren starts his training and I asked to be allowed to go their and pretend I am a trainee. The Commander allowed me to go their believing that it will help with my teamwork skills,because I prefer to do everything solo. However that doesn't mean I am bad at giving orders to other people and I was promoted a month ago to Elite Company Leader because I saved a squad of men from 7 Abnormal Titian's who snuck up on them.
