Chapter 5: Crowd Control Spider
Mu En smiled at Xiao Ya when she ran off to a small wiggling blue silver grass behind Ah Yin's back. There was nothing in the world that could keep her depressed for a long time.
After Xiao Ya disappeared, Mu En gazed at Ah Yin as he said.
Mu En: " Well kiddo, aren't you going to do your thing now?"
Ah Yin shook her branches a little as she said with her serene voice.
Ah Yin: " Yes, Uncle Mu, I hope that you can take care of Xiao Ya. I know she is a little mischievous but she is a pure soul."
Mu En laughed at that remark as he said.
Mu En: " Haha, don't worry, I am quite an expert on things like handling a mischievous kid."
Ah Yin let out a gentle hum as the life energy she let out condensed inside of her. Mu En did not blink as he looked at the process that only happens once in a millennium with intent, trying to burn it down in his memory.
The big tree that was giving off life energy disappeared as only a ball of blue light remained. Then out of nowhere, a bolt of lightning struck the blue ball. As the dust settled, a small figure with long blue hair with a blue gown.
But just as he tried approaching the figure, the figure raised a hand indicating him to stop.
Ah Yin: " At this form, I am very weak. Even the poison leaking from you can potentially kill me. So I will just leave now."
A cute childish voice sounded in Mu En's ear as he looked on to the figure leaving towards the direction outside of the forest. Mu En looked at her shaking his head a little.
Mu En: " Be sure to visit sometime. Also, try and not appear in a place where powerful humans could gather."
Hearing the shout of Mu En. Ah Yin turned and raised her hands high.
Ah Yin: " I will be sure to remember that. Thank you."
Mu En looked at the direction where Ah Yin left from as he prayed in his heart.
Mu En: ' This time don't get hurt.'
Mu En turned this back as he thought of hunting more spiders to get himself more strength. As far he can remember, Ah Yin, sacrificed herself later on. But if both of them somehow came to his place to get shelter, he did not know what to do.
So his main goal was to eat for now.
He checked out on Xiao Ya. After telling her that he was leaving for some time to cultivate, he left her in the care of Little Blue.
But luck was not always great for him. He looked for days but not a single spider came to his view. Mu En did not know but there was nothing wrong with this. A spider was a very rare spirit beast.
Most did not come out of hiding. But this did not mean they were weak and were cowards. They were very strong and also a true predator. They never moved from the spot once they set up a trap.
Especially, a man faced spider. They were so fearsome that they were called the Predators of the Predators!
After weeks with no result, Mu En decided to enter the middle region. After some time, Mu En met the spirit beast just made for him.
A Pit Demon Spider!
Its body was somewhat smaller in size. It had a slim body, along with thin eight spider legs. It had six pink eyes along with an oval pink crystal that crested at its head. It had some weird yellow filaments around it, it was its web.
As Mu En was an Arachnid, he naturally knew all the information about a spirit beast as the same species as him. This spider was also a top tier Arachind like the Man Faced Demon Spider. But it was relatively weaker than them.
It was mainly due to them not being poisonous. Even their webs were normal.
The only thing that made them dangerous was that they were extremely cunning and they could mold their web into any shape they wanted, something Man Faced Spiders was not able to do.
Due to its cunning nature, it used strategies to beat its opponent, and every time it only buried its victim. After knowing was not scared at all. He had a perfect strategy too.
That was?
To get caught!
He wanted to get caught and as he had obtained the skill from Ah Yin, it was nigh impossible to kill him under normal conditions. As he looked at the spider webs that suddenly bound him, he concentrated to the max to find an opening to the spider.
The pit demon spider was surprised to find that this little spider did not resist him at all. But it was happy nonetheless. After binding the spider completely by it a spider web, the pit demon spider pierced Mu En's heart and directly swallowed him.
It was like a snake opening its mouth.
Even though it had a small size, it could open its mouth far too wide. But just as it swallowed Mu En, it felt something wrong.
The spider it just ate was moving!
It tried to spit out the spider back but it was too late.
A spider leg had already pierced its neck.
Mu En breathed a sigh of relief as he initiated to absorb the spider while he was in the stomach. When he saw his surroundings turn golden, he knew it was successful. But the nemesis prompt came once again.
[ A high-level energy was found in the body. The body is not strong enough to hold it in. Suggests host find a suitable place for hibernation. You have ten minutes.]
Mu En was happy that he got enough time to search for the nest of the spirit beast. Using his incredible sense of smell, Mu En quickly found the nest.
As he sat down to hibernate, he thought of Xiao Ya. He did not know for how long he would be out once again, so he was a bit worried. But before he could continue his thoughts, his surrounding went black.
