Chapter 24: Does This Mean You Trust Us?
Bakugou dragged Kirishima and Kaminari out of the dining area. He needed to talk to them privately.
"So Toshi has two quirks that's awesome! I've never heard that." Kaminari said
"That's because not many people we know have two quirks Dunce Face except for Shitty Deku and IcyHot." Bakugou put his hands in his pockets while he walked with them
"Oh yea I forgot they have more than one quirk." Kaminari said
"What was with the special treatment to Midoriya this morning. Even he was confused when you gave him the plate of pancakes." Kirishima asked Bakugou
"I... only did that because I made extra and I didn't want any damn pancakes." Bakugou said
"If you say so bro." Kirishima shrugged
Bakugou rolled his eyes. They were in the hallway and no one was there so Bakugou decided it was safe.
"I need to tell you two something. I'm only saying this once so listen and if you tell anyone I will bury you both alive after long hours of torturing." Bakugou crossed his arms
"This sound serious." Kirishima said sarcastically
"You wanna hear this or not?" Bakugou asked
"Shut up Kirishima, I wanna hear." Kaminari said
"Sorry continue."
"Alright..." Bakugou took a deep breath and exhaled
"I... MAYBE, maybe... l- ike Deku." Bakugou looked to the side as he said "Deku" very quietly
"Dude!? Dude... dude, dude... dude. What?" Kaminari was malfunctioning
"Bakugou you're gay?" Kirishima asked after Kaminari stopped saying dude
~Does Bakugou is gay?~
"NO!"
"But you just said you liked Midoryia." Kirishima said
"Yea, I... did."
"Uh not gonna lie that's kinda gay bro." Kirishima grinned
"Don't freakin say it like that." Bakugou was uncomfortable
"But, but, but you? Midoryia? How? When?" Kaminari was still surging
Kirishima hit Kaminari on the back of the head.
"Denki, pull it together man." Kirishima said
Kaminari shook his head
"Ow, sorry. So you like Midoryia? Does he know?"
"No and I'm never telling him."
"But what if he likes you back?" Kirishima asked
"He doesn't." Bakugou sounded slightly sad
"Have you asked him?" Kaminari questioned
"No." Bakugou answered
"Then how do you know?" Kirishima asked
"Because I bullied the him, I still say mean shit to him. Why would he like someone to treats him like trash?"
"Maybe he's a masochist?" Kaminari joked
A dirty image popped into Bakugou head from one of the dreams he had about Midoryia. He made a strange face. It was a mix of satisfaction and disgust.
"You just had a dirty thought didn't you?" Kaminari asked
"No that's disgusting." Bakugou denied the allegation
"You totally did! I would know. Everyone makes the same face when they've had a dirty thought." Kaminari said
"That's gross dude." Kirishima said
"I'm done talking to you morons. Don't tell anyone what I told you or you'll die." Bakugou walked off
"So... does this mean you trust us?" Kirishima stopped him
"If I didn't trust you I wouldn't tell you tell you in the first place Shitty Hair." Bakugou continued walking
Kirishima and Kaminari looked at each other then ran after Bakugou.

Midoriya sat down with Toshi while she ate.
"These are good, are you sure you didn't want them." Toshi took a bite
"No it's fine." Midoriya supported his head with his hand as his elbow sat on the table
"Sorry, I took your food." Toshi said
"You didn't take it, I gave it to you." Midoriya smiled at her
"I'm almost done." She said
"We still have a little bit so don't worry." Midoriya said
Todoroki walked in with an apple.
"Good morning Midoryia. Good morning Toshi, how are you." Todoroki asked
"I'm great Bakugou made me pancakes, Kirishima fixed my hair, and Midoryia gave me the rest of his pancakes!" Toshi told Todoroki
"Sounds like you've had a fun day already." Todoroki said
"You have no idea." Midoriya said
"Oh I have a levitating quirk. So Make small objects float. I still have my other quirk Vortex. In the future some people can have two quirks." Toshi told Todoroki
"Vortex?" The two asked
"That's what I call it, did I not tell you that either?" Toshi asked
"No." Midoriya laughed a little
"Lucky you, I guess." Todoroki said to Toshi but it was more for Midoriya
"I'm officially... done." Toshi chewed her last bite
"Good job, I can't believe you ate 5 whole pancakes." Midoriya picked up her plate
"She ate five of those?" Todoroki asked
"Yep, Bakugou makes good pancakes." Toshi answered
Midoriya went to put the plate up he soon came back and Toshi was laughing.
"What's so funny?" Midoriya asked
"I told her a joke, well more of a pun." Todoroki said
"It was hilarious." Toshi was still giggling
"Tell me." Midoriya wanted to know
"It's bad." Todoroki said
"Just tell it, I wanna know." Midoriya smiled
"I gave you a warning."
"Toshi why is Midoryia's hero name Deku?"
"Wa- Why?" Toshi tryed not to laugh
"Because if you're a villain he'll Dek U in the face." Todoroki finished the pun
Toshi laughed even harder Midoryia laughed, but not as hard.
"It wasn't that funny." Todoroki told Toshi
"Yes... It... Was..." Toshi had to breathe between words
Bakugou walked in the dining area. He saw Todoroki and it made him a little mad.
"Did you finish your breakfast twerp?"
"Yes I did. Thanks for making me pancakes." Toshi smiled
"How nice of you Bakugou." Todoroki said with sarcasm
"I will crush you Half 'N Half Bastard!" Bakugou said
Toshi got out of her chair.
"Toshi where you going?" Midoriya asked her getting up
"I just wanted to walk around." Toshi said
Kaminari and Kirishima came in the room.
"Toshi can I ask you something?" Todoroki asked
(She kind of acts like Bakugou in certain ways. They look very similar only • her eyes are green and she smiles a lot. We were planning to ask her anyway.]
"Sure!" Toshi walked over to him
Todoroki got out of his chair and leaned on one knee.
"Are you Bakugou's secret love child or something?" Todoroki asked with no emotion
<<That's not wrong, but it's not completely right either. How did he guess? What do I say I can't say yes!>>
Midoriya gasped.
"Pfft." Kirishima tried no to laugh
"Dude what!" Kaminari laughed
"What the hell! She's 6 why are you asking her that!" Bakugou shouted
"Are you okay, you looked a little frightened Toshi." Todoroki said
"N- no I'm fine." Toshi said
"Oi, you ignoring me!"
"Um Toshichan you can tell us if somethings wrong." Midoryia said
"Nothing's wrong, I swear." Toshi said
"Just tell us what's wrong brat." Bakugou said then Kirishima hit him
"Sorry for making you worry, but It was just a weird question and I can't believe you'd think I'm related to him." Toshi said going back to her normal self
"Oi!" Bakugou felt a little offended
"But to answer your question no." Toshi lied
"You just look and sometimes act much like him, I thought maybe he was your dad in the future." Todoroki said
"Nope." Toshi said
"Yea I mean who would have kids with Bakugou any way. Oh wait I bet M-" Kaminari said
Bakugou looked at Kaminari with death and destruction in his eyes.
"I- I mean nothing, no one, never mind." Kaminari finished his sentence
"That was anticlimactic, sorry if I scared you." Todoroki said leaving
"It's okay Un- Todoroki."
"Oh, let's go brush our teeth Toshichan we have 20 minutes before we need to leave." Midoriya said after looking at his phone
He held out his hand for her.
Toshi took his hand as they walked passed Bakugou, Kaminari, and Kirishima.
Kirishima knew what was fixing to happen.
"Pikachu! I'm going to make your insides your freaking outsides!" Bakugou yelled
"Sorry. I was just joking." Kaminari said
"Sounds like you care about her a little. You actually sounded concerned when you said "just tell us what's wrong brat." Kirishima finally chimed in
"She's an annoying kid that needs our damn help. I don't care about her, I want her gone!" Bakugou said
"So you can have Midoryia all to yourself." Kaminari obviously not caring about his livelihood
Bakugou made a very small explosion in Kaminari's face.
"There was a line and I crossed it, I see that now." Kaminari held his face
"D- Denki are you okay!?! Kirishima asked
"Yea I'm just gonna go visit Recovery Girl for a check up and to fix my face." Kaminari leaving
"That was harsh dude." Kirishima frowned at Bakugou
"I can't... let Deku find out."
"You have to tell him at some point. Something will slip." Kirishima said
"...How long have you liked, you know who." Kirishima asked
"Don't know, but I didn't realize it until we started U.A. Then we had that fight and I learned some stuff that opened my eyes." Bakugou explained
"You got it bad don't cha."
Kirishima grinned
"You wanna end up like Yellow Hair!" Bakugou threatens
"Nah, I kinda like my face." Kirishima smirked
"I gotta go." Bakugou stomped off
"Okay later dude." Kirishima helped Kaminari to Recovery Girl

Bakugou opened Midoriya's door just as Midoriya and Toshi were walking out of the bathroom.
"Hey Bakugou! We just finished brushing our teeth did you come to brush yours?" Toshi asked
"Yea twerp." Bakugou walked into the bathroom
"We need to leave in a few minutes do you need to do anything before we leave?" Midoriya asked her
"No, but I'm kinda scared." Toshi admitted
"Why are you scared?" Midoriya asked
"Well what if I do something wrong and hurt someone or what if the Pros don't like me or what if I can't control my work and get home this time." Toshi made up outcomes
Midoriya leaned on one knee.
"Toshi I'll be there with you and all those Pros are highly trained professionals. They know how to deal with difficult situations. We can take anything." Midoriya reassured her
"You ready to go?" Bakugou asked from behind Midoriya
Midoriya flinched standing up quickly and turning around.
"You're going with us?" Midoriya tilted his head
"Got a problem with it Deku?" Bakugou crossed his arms
"N- No, I just didn't think y- you would want to." Midoriya scratched the back of his head
"I'm ready!" Toshi walked to the door
"We better go then." Midoriya walked passed Bakugou following her to the door
They both leave and Bakugou leaves the room just a second after.
"Can I ride on your shoulders Bakugou?" Toshi asked
"Wait until we get outside." He told her
"Okay." Toshi held Midoriya's hand

They walk into the living area.
"Are you leaving?" Uraraka asked
"Yea we have 15 minutes to get to gym Gamma." Midoriya said
"Good luck Toshi." Iida said
"Yea, good luck!" Uraraka repeated what Iida said
"Bakugou are you going with them?" Tokoyami asked
"The brat begged me too." Bakugou said
"I did." Toshi nodded
"Trouble always comes in three." Shoji said
"Half of the time it's only two." Ashido said laughing
"See you later everyone." Toshi dragged Midoriya behind her with Bakugou following
"Sorry Midoriya, but I wanted to get outside so Bakugou would carry me."
Midoriya laughed.
"It's okay."
"C'mere Blondie." Bakugou hoisted her up so she could sit in his shoulders and they started waking to gym Gamma
"Hey Midoriya is it okay if I call you Deku instead?" Toshi asked
"It's my hero name so of course you can." Midoriya smiled
"Bakugou can-"
"No."
"You didn't even let me finish!" Toshi whined
"I know what chu were going to ask and no."
"I'm going to call you Kacchan anyways." Toshi said with a smug face
"Then I'm putting you down." Bakugou said
Bakugou put Toshi down so she had to walk.
"Deku will you give me a piggyback ride?" Toshi asked
"Yea hop on."
Midoriya squatted and Toshi climed on his back.
"Kacchan can you run fast?" Toshi looked over to him
Bakugou scoffed at the name.
"Yes."
"Can you run as fast as Deku can with OFA activated?" Toshi asked
"With my quirk yes." He answered
(Not when OFA is used at 100%.)
"Then we should have a race." Toshi said
"I don't think that's a good idea." Midoriya said
"To bad Deku we're racing all the way to the gym. Loser carries her lazy ass back." Bakugou said
"O- Okay, I'll race then." Midoriya agreed
Both boys stopped and got ready to run well use their quirk to quicken their pace more like.
"Wait this isn't fair, I'm carrying Toshi." Midoriya just realized
"What's the matter think you'll loose." Bakugou teased
"No I was just saying you have an advantage, that's not fair." Midoriya shook his head
"Life's not fair stupid. Say "go" whenever you feel like it brat." Bakugou looked forward and smirked
Toshi waited for a sec then yelled go.
Midoriya started running using OFA holding Toshi's legs tightly. Bakugou started flying using his explosions which was technically cheating considering he wasn't touching the ground.
Eventually they made it to the gym Midoriya being the winner.
"How the hell... did you win!" Bakugou said trying to catch his breath
Midoriya was laying on the ground out of breath and Toshi was standing there smiling happily.
"He was just faster." Toshi she shrugged telling Bakugou
"Tch-" he scoffed
They both caught their breath eventually and walked in the gym with Toshi.
"Woah! This place is huge!" Toshi looked around
"You should see ground Beta it looks like a whole city." Midoriya told her
"It does?" Toshi was amazed
"Midoriya my boy, young Bakugou good morning." All Might said and he entered the gym followed by Cementoss, Eraserhead, Present Mic, Midnight, and Recovery Girl
Thirteen, Power Loader, Hound Dog, Snipe, Ectoplasm, and King Vlad were busy.
"I'm guessing that young lady is Toshi." All Might said looking at the little girl hiding behind Bakugou
"Quit hiding behind me twerp!" Bakugou stepped to the side
"Toshi this is All Might, Midnight, Cementoss, Present Mic. You've met Recovery Girl and Aizawa Sensei or Eraserhead already. They're teachers and Pro heroes. There's no need to be scared they just wanna help." Midoriya explained
"Um h- hi." Toshi said nervously
"We have some questions if you don't mind to answer them." Aizawa talked
"I don't mind." Toshi answered
"I need you and Bakugou to go outside with Mic, All Might, and Cementoss." Aizawa told Midoriya
"No, I don't want them to leave." Toshi grabbed Midoriya's arm
"Hey it'll be okay, I'll be right outside. If you need me all you have to do is yell." Midoryia hugged her
Toshi looked at Bakugou wanting a similar answer.
Bakugou rolled his eyes and huffed.
"If you scream bloody murder I might come help you." Bakugou walked out of the building
Toshi smiled.
"Answer Aizawa Sensei's questions as well as you can okay." Midoriya told her
"Yes sir." She saluted
Midoriya patted her head laughing to himself then walked out of the building like Bakugou did.
Cementoss, Present Mic, and All Might followed Midoriya out the door.

"How are things Midoriya?" All Might asked
They haven't been able to practice lately because they've both been busy.
"They're great All Might, I've improved a lot on my Shoot style and using my quirks." Midoriya smiled
"What about you Bakugou?"
"I'm doing great." Bakugou gave a short answer
"That's wonderful to hear. What about babysitting Toshi?" All Might asked the two
"She has a lot of energy and she's very sweet." Midoriya said
"She's annoying and loud." Bakugou said
"You know, she looks a lot like you young Bakugou." All Might told him
"Yea, that's what some of our classmates said." Midoriya told All Might knowing Bakugou wouldn't answer
"She's like a younger, girl version of him. Ya dig." Present Mic said posing
"Since she's from the future she could be his child." All Might said thinking out loud
Bakugou gave a "are you dumb" look to All Might.
"There's no way in hell that's mine." Bakugou said
(I've thought about it, but there's no way. Why would future me have a kid? How?)
"We're just suggesting it's possible we didn't say it was fact." Cementoss said
"Let's rewind for a sec, Bakugou if my Amps are working and they are. I think you dig the little Blondie." Present Mic crossed his arms
"That's brat's annoying and I care about her just as much as I care about Deku!" Bakugou said
"So a lot?" Cementoss asked
Present Mic snickered.
Midoriya's eyes widened as he looked at the ground and he blushed.
"No, I don't care at all!" Bakugou stomped to the other end of the building and sat on the ground
"Looks like we're muted." Present Mic shrugged
"You should talk to him Midoriya." All Might whispered
"Me? Why me?" Midoriya asked
"Because you're his friend." All Might said
"But he doesn't-" All Might pushed Midoriya in Bakugou's direction
Midoriya rubbed his arm nervously and took a deep breath then he cautiously walked to Bakugou.
Bakugou didn't yell at or threaten him so Midoriya sat down a few good inches away from him.
"Um, sorry if they made you mad. You know, it is okay to care about someone. I care about a lot of people." Midoriya smiled as he looked at the ground in front of him pushing the sandy dirt around with his finger
(Especially you, my friends, mom, and All Might.)
"I don't care about anyone, they'll just hold me back." Bakugou said
"You have to care about someone that's just how life is, unless you're a psychopath. But sometimes even they have people they care about." Midoriya said
(Can't he just shut up!)
"Tch -"
"Hey Kacchan... can I asked you something?"
"You just did idiot."
"Oh I did, well let me ask another."
"Just ask!" Bakugou said
"What's going on with you. Kirishima said you were frustrated about something a few days ago and you've been acting... I don't know off a little, I guess. Is it because of something I did? If so I'm sorry." Midoriya asked
"If there was something wrong, I would freaking tell you Nerd." Bakugou said
"If it's not something I did then what is it?" Midoriya placed a hand on Bakugou's thigh
"S- Sorry..."
Midoriya quickly removed his hand realizing what he did.
"I just wanna help Kacchan."
Bakugou almost blushed at the contact
"I don't want or need your damn help."
"I'm sorry for bothering you m, I thought maybe I could help you out somehow." Midoriya got up
"Tch- sit back down." Bakugou looked away
"What?" Midoryia tilted his head
"I said sit down!"
Midoriya quickly sat back down.
*exhale* "...I think... I like someone." Bakugou said so quiet Midoriya could barely hear it
"Like romantically?" Midoriya asked, a touch of pink appeared on his cheeks
"Yes, moron."
"D- Do they li- like you?" Midoryia asked
(He's actually opening up to me?)
"I don't know. It doesn't matter there's nothing to like about me." Bakugou looked in the opposite direction of Midoriya
(Kacchan never talks about himself like this. He's usually a little narcissistic. This person must be special to him. He shouldn't be talking about himself like that though, no matter how amazing this person is.)
"Don't say things like that." Midoriya gave him a serious look
"Don't tell me what to do. It's true anyway." Bakugou looked down at the ground
"Kacchan there are plenty of things to like. You're smart, determined, strong, protective, and kind when you want to be! Those are all qualities anyone would like, friend or other." Midoriya spoke in a serious tone
(I just wanna grab his stupid face and kiss it- Woah where the hell did that come from? I don't wanna kiss him! I mean- no I can't.)
"You talk to much Deku, shut up." Bakugou looked away trying to his blushing cheeks
"I- I didn't mean to, I guess I got car- carried away haha." Midoriya laughed awkwardly
He noticed Bakugou ears were red.
(It's not very hot out here. Wait, is Kacchan blushing? He must be thinking about the person he likes. I... feel a little sad- no I should be happy for Kacchan.)
"You didn't ask who it was." Bakugou said quietly as he realized
"I assumed you wouldn't tell me if I asked, I'm surprised you told me this much." Midoriya said
Their conversation was interrupted by Aizawa opening the door.
"Oh we better go in. I meant what I said... by the way." Midoriya stood up and dusted off the seat of his pants
"Yea that twerp will whine if we don't." Bakugou avoided the last part of Midoriya's sentence
Both boys walked to the door and entered the building.
"Hey guys!" Toshi greeted them
"I didn't hear any screaming." Bakugou said
"Did everything go okay?" Midoriya leaned down on one knee
"Yea, I just answered a bunch of questions about my quirk." Toshi smiled
"Did you tell Aizawa Sensei about your other quirk?" Midoriya asked
"Yea, he was so surprised he actually changed his facial expression." Toshi giggled
"Toshi it's time to start practice using your quirk." Aizawa yelled from where he was
He was updating the other teachers.
"Okay!" Toshi said
"Here, will you hold your All Might plushie for me?" She handed it to Midoriya
"Of course." Midoriya took the toy with a small smile and stood back up
Midoriya and Bakugou stood near the gym door out of the way.
"You think she can do it?" Bakugou asked
"I'm not sure, but she's very determined." Midoriya said
(Kind of like Kacchan is.)
(Kinda like Deku.)
Toshi tried her hardest. The other teachers gave her pointers and advice, but she was still having trouble. Midoriya tried to in courage her, but she was still struggling. Bakugou mostly yelled at her and she yelled back.
"It won't work!" Toshi clenched her fists from frustrated
"Then try harder brat!" Bakugou yelled
"You try ripping a whole in space and time then tell me how easy it is!" Toshi stomped around
"She's brave yelling at young Bakugou." All Might said to Midoriya
"They yell at each other from time to time. I think that's what makes them so similar other than looks." Midoriya laughed a little
(: She is similar to Young Bakugou, but she has green eyes and freckles like Midoriya. So... no it doesn't work like that.:) All Might shook his head at the thought

It was getting late. Toshi has been working all day. She made a little progress.
"Ugh why can't I get it to work when I want too, but when I don't really need it my quirk works just fine!" Toshi crossed her arms was irritated with herself
"I think that's enough for today." Aizawa told her
"But I want to keep going." Toshi uncrossed
"You don't need to push yourself to hard young Toshi." All Might said
"Sweetie, if you work yourself to death you can't preform properly and no one likes a lousy performer. " Midnight said
"There's always tomorrow kid." Present Mic said
"Okay... we'll try tomorrow then." Toshi said with sad tone
"Here's All Might back." Midoriya handed her the plush
"I'm hungry again." Toshi took the plushie and hugged it
"I'll get you some dinner when we get to the dormitory." Midoriya said
"Can you carry me my legs and arms are tired." Toshi rubbing her eyes
(She's so tired.)
"Ye-" Midoryia was going to pick her up
"No. I lost our race this morning remember? The deal was, loser carries her annoying ass back to the dorms." Bakugou picked her up instead
Midoriya didn't argue. They both walked out of the gym.
"What an interesting relationship those boys have." Recovery Girl said
"Seems Bakugou is quite fond of the girl, though he won't admit it." Cementoss said
"He's also fond of Midoriya right Eraser?" Present Mic nudged Aizawa
"Well Midoriya is crushing hard on Bakugou." Midnight said
"Did everyone catch this before I did?" All Might asked
"You tend to drop the ball when I comes to this, sonny." Recovery Girl said
"If young Midoriya and Bakugou like each other why aren't they dating. Maybe I should talk to Midoriya about it." All Might questioned
"Midoriya is too scared to tell Bakugou." Aizawa started
"And Bakugou to hardhead to admit he wants to groove with Midoriya." Present Mic finished Aizawa sentence
"Complicated." Cementoss said
"More annoying then complicated." Aizawa said
"Who do you think would top?" Midnight smirked
"Don't talk about the students like that." All Might said
"It's bound to happen." Midnight rolled her eyes
"They're children." Aizawa said
"No, they're teenagers." Midnight said
"Ew! I don't wanna hear that." Present Mic put his headphones on
Midnight scoffed.
"Lets just leave." Recovery Girl said
"Lets." Aizawa agreed

When Midoriya, Bakugou, and Toshi made it back to the dormitory dinner was already done. Kirishima and Kaminari teased Bakugou about carrying Toshi, he yelled at them of course. Midoriya and Toshi asked if Yaoyorozu would make her some more clothes since Midoriya didn't get a chance to washer the ones she traveled with. Yaoyorozu agreed happily. Everyone ate and one by one they all went to bed.
Bakugou and Midoriya slept in the same bed, it was still awkward, but Toshi slept soundly in Bakugou's bed.

The next day went smoothly. Toshi tried her hardest, again she made little progress and was left frustrated again. The teachers said she'll get better with practice. Midoriya and Bakugou showed her how they use their quirks.
They even demonstrated a fight for her. They had multiple sets, Midoriya won some, but Bakugou won most. They went back to the dorm and repeated their nightly routine.
Aizawa told them to let Toshi rest for a day since she had been working hard for two days.

Monday they had class so Toshi stayed in the teachers lounge hanging out with different teachers throughout the day.
Midoriya picked her up after he was finished with class. Bakugou was waiting outside the school building for them.
