Chapter 20: Let the Games Begin!
Midoriya took Toshi into the kitchen and set her on the counter by the sink.
"Okay Toshichan, what would you like to eat?" Midoriya put his hands on his hips
<<Toshichan?>>
"Can I have toast with peanut butter and apple slices on it?" Toshi asked
"If that's what you want, I'll make it." Midoriya got the stuff to make is as he put away some of the stuff Bakugou had gotten out
"So are you Elementary school?" Midoriya asked
"Yea, it's a lot of fun." Toshi swung her feet as they dangled
"Do you have any friends?" Midoriya asked
"I have a bunch, but I have one really good friend!" Toshi said excitedly
"It's good to have friends." Midoriya said smiling at her
"Did you have any friends when you were in Elementary?" Toshi asked
"N- no not really, I did have a bestfriend though kind of." Midoriya said thinking back
"If you were in my class I would be your friend!" Toshi smiled
"Thank you Toshichan." Midoriya laughed
"Your food is ready. Let's go back into the common area." Midoriya grabbed Toshi hand and she jumped off the counter
"Okay!" Toshi said
"I'll carry your plate for you." Midoriya said as they walked side by side
Once they left the kitchen Toshi skipped in front of Midoriya.
Toshi bumped into Bakugou who was talking to Kirishima.
"Watch it twerp!" Bakugou looked down at her
"Sorry, but you were in my way." Toshi crossed her arms
"You're a brat you know that?" Bakugou moved out of her way
Toshi skipped to the couch and sat down.
Midoriya walked around Kirishima and Bakugou instead of through them like Toshi did.
He sat near Toshi and handed her the plate of apple peanut butter toast.
Toshi took a bite and immediately loved it.
"This exactly how my daddy makes it!" Toshi said
"I'm glad you like it." Midoriya smiled
Bakugou walked passed them and took one of Toshi's pieces of toast.
Toshi handed the plate to Midoriya and turned to Bakugou who sat on the other side of her.
"Excuse me, but that's mine!" Toshi reached for it
"Nope it's mine now brat. It's my reward for all the trouble you put me through." Bakugou said talking a bite
Toshi punched Bakugou in the arm.
"Ow, that really hurt." Bakugou said sarcastically as he took another bite
"Toshi d- don't hit Kacchan." Midoriya was worried Bakugou might start yelling again
"But he took my food!" Toshi wined
"I'd hit Bakugou too if he took my food." Kaminari shrugged
"You're not helping Denki." Kirishima stated putting his hand on Kaminari's shoulder
"It's okay you have two more pieces and if you want more, I'll just make more." Midoriya handed her plate back
"I didn't think about that, sorry." Toshi took her plate back
"Dude you're a kid whisperer." Kirishima said
"No he isn't , they just have the same mentality." Bakugou ate the last bite of the toast
"Careful, Toshi might hit you again." Kaminari said
"Oh no I'm so scared." Bakugou said flatly
Toshi frowned at Bakugou as she kept eating.
"Would you like to watch Tv?" Midoriya asked Toshi
"I'd love too!" Toshi answered
"What do you want to watch?" Midoriya grabbed the remote
"It better not be any of that ponies and princesses junk." Bakugou crossed his arms
"I want to watch John Wick." Toshi said
"John Wick?" Bakugou, Midoriya, Kirishima, and Kaminari said together
"Yea it's mine and my dad's favorite movie series." Toshi taking a bite of her second piece of toast
"That's a little... violent for your age isn't it?" Midoriya thought
"Shut up, we're watching it Deku." Bakugou snatched the remote from him
"Denki and I have some chores to finish.We don't want Aizawa Sensei to kill us." Kirishima said walking off
"Aw Man, I wanted watch John Wick!" Kaminari followed Kirishima
"I'm going to make me something to eat. Do you want anything else Toshichan?" Midoriya asked standing up
"No, thank you m- Midoriya." Toshi smiled
"Kacchan ar- are you hungry?" Midoriya asked
"It's lunchtime what do you think, idiot." Bakugou said
"Do you want me to make something? Is there anything specific you want?" Midoriya asked
"No, just make it spicy." Bakugou said
"I'll see what we have. Toshi I need you at stay in the building okay. If you need me just yell for me." Midoriya told her
"I will!" Toshi answered looking at the Tv
Midoriya went to the kitchen.
Toshi stared at Bakugou.
"Ugh, what!" Bakugou was irritated
"Why are you mean to Midoryia?" Toshi asked
"Because he's a stupid Nerd?" Bakugou answer
"How can you be stupid and a nerd? That doesn't make sense Kacchan." Toshi said thinking
"Don't. Call me that." Bakugou said darkly
"But Midoryia calls you that." Toshi wasn't afraid of Bakugou
"My name is Bakugou not "Kacchan." Deku calls me that and I hate it. So don't call me that." Bakugou told her
"Fine! Hmph." Toshi crossed her arms
"Annoying brat!" Bakugou crossed his arms
They watched the movie without another word.
Midoriya came back about 20 minutes later with two bowls.
He handed one to Bakugou and sat down with the other.
They ate in complete silence.

<<I miss my parents. I hope they aren't worrying about me.>> Toshi thought
"Are you done Kacchan?" Midoriya asked holding his empty bowl
"Yea, I'm done." Bakugou didn't look away from the movie
Midoriya took the dirty bowls to the kitchen and then returned to the common area.

The movie ended.
"That movie is so cool!" Toshi jumped up and down
Aizawa finally came back.
"Oh, hi... Eraserhead." Toshi saw a figure wearing all black so she assumed it was him
"I have your glasses Toshi." Aizawa handed them to her
"Woah, I can see now and they look just like my old ones!" Toshi put the blue rimmed glasses on and looked around
<<They look similar to- no .. .>>
"So, the deal." Aizawa reminded her
"Oh right! This might be shocking, so you should sit." Toshi said
Aizawa sat between Midoriya and Bakugou
Toshi paced back and forth a few times muttering to herself.
"Would you get on with it!" Bakugou was tired of waiting
"Oi, don't rush me!" Toshi said
Aizawa flicked Bakugou on the forehead.
"Take your time Toshi." Aizawa said
"Sorry. Okay I'm here because of my quirk. It's hard to explain and I don't know exactly how to control it, but I can manipulate time. I created a time vortex and ended up here." Toshi said
(Jeez, this kid's a nerd.)
"Toshi... are you saying you're from the future." Aizawa asked
"Yes that's why I asked what year it was. If I counted right I jumped about... 18 years into the passed. According to my present time. At the moment in my time it's June." Toshi pushed her glasses up
"No way you're a time traveler." Bakugou didn't believe her
"It's the truth!" Toshi crossed her arms
"That's amazing." Midoriya said
(A real time traveler!)
"Hold on. If you can't control it that means you don't know how to open it back up, what year you'll go to when you go through, or the location you'll end up. Am I correct? Aizawa asked
"100% accurate, unfortunately. But I do know that I can choose whether to go to the past or the future not sure how I do it though. I just kinda think about it really hard, then the portal opens." Toshi had her arms behind her
"This is a problem." Aizawa said
"A problem? If she's really from the future. You know how much shit she probably knows."
"I will tell you nothing about the future." Toshi waved her finger
"Why the hell not?" Bakugou asked
"One you're mean and two I'm not sure, but it could reshape my present aka your future." Toshi said looking sad
"Like a butterfly effect?" Midoriya asked
"Exactly." Toshi held her index finger up in the air
"But what about you being here, why would that not affect the future?" Aizawa asked
"This is all theory, but we think the moment I return to my original time it's like I was never here in the first place. Anything that I would personally affect will be erased. From the time I arrive to the time I leave, but if I use my quirk like a teleportation quirk then my choices and actions are permanent because it's technically being used in my present, not the past or future. So I guess it wouldn't really matter if I told you something, but just incase and for safety reasons I won't." Toshi said
"So let's say you knocked over a trash can and that caused a domino effect. You're saying anything that small event caused would be erased?" Aizawa asked
"From what i understand yes." Toshi said
"That's complicated." Aizawa said
"I know right. My daddy is the one that came up with the theory. He studied what he can and then told me what he understood. I'm hoping one day I can fully understand it myself." Toshi told them
"Well this isn't something we can fix today. I'll talk to some other pros and see if they have anything that will help. We'll work on getting you home tomorrow." Aizawa stood up from the couch
(Great the brat gets to stay here longer.)
"Sounds good! Sorry for the trouble." Toshi bowed
"It's not like you did it on purpose." Aizawa ruffled her messy blonde hair
"I know, but it's the second time I've gotten stuck. The last time I was stuck twenty years in the future from my present time. It took days to get back." Toshi said
(Twenty two years?)
"Hopefully it won't take that long, this time." Midoriya said
"Yes hopefully not. Midoriya keep up with her. If I find anything out, I'll let you know." Aizawa told Toshi and Midoriya
"Yes, Sensei." Midoriya and Toshi said in unison
They looked at each other and giggled.
Aizawa left.

"Midoriya?" Toshi said
"Yea Toshi?" Midoriya looked at her
"I need to use that bathroom." Toshi whispered
"Okay I'll take you. You can do it by yourself though right?" Midoriya asked worried
"Yea, I'm a big girl." Toshi said
"Good otherwise I'd have to find a girl to help you." Midoriya laughed
"Why? You're girly enough Nerd." Bakugou said
"Stop being mean to Midoriya!" Toshi hugged Midoriya's leg
"It's okay Toshi. Come on I'll take you to the bathroom." Midoriya waited for Toshi to follow him
Toshi glared at Bakugou then followed Midoriya.
Midoriya took Toshi to Uraraka's bathroom because he thought his was too dirty for a little girl, even though he cleaned every week. Uraraka gave him a key a while back, but he's never used it.
"This is my friend Uraraka's room so don't mess with anything okay?" Midoriya walked her in the room
"I promise I won't. Why aren't we in your room?" Toshi asked
"I didn't want you to have to use my dirty bathroom. I haven't cleaned it in a couple of days and Uraraka keeps her's super clean." Midoriya said
"I see, thank you." Toshi said as she went in Uraraka's bathroom
"I'll wait out here for you." Midoriya sat in Uraraka's bean bag chair
"Okay." Toshi closed the door

She opened the door.
"Midoriya I need help washing my hands."
"Uraraka has a stool in here somewhere." Midoriya looked for it and found it under her desk folded up
"Here you go." Midoriya unfolded it and put it in front of the sink
"It's perfect!" Toshi washed her hands
Toshi finished and got down to dry her hands while Midoriya put the stool back.
"I'm done we can head back now." Toshi skipped to the door
"Alright." Midoriya followed her
As they left Midoryia locked Uraraka's door back.
"Midoriya what's your quirk?" Toshi asked
"It's called OFA. It gives a boost to my melee attacks." Midoriya said
"Can you show me?" She asked
"Um that's a little dangerous- oh I have an idea. I'll give you a piggyback ride." Midoriya said
"How is that showing me your quirk?" Toshi questioned
"Just watch. Hold on tight, I don't want you to fall." Midoriya looked back at her
"Sir, yes sir!" Toshi giggled
"Ready." Midoriya was holding Toshi's legs
"Yep!"
"Here we go." Midoriya activated his quirk and running fast
"Weeeeeeeeeee!" Toshi said as Midoriya ran
Midoriya ran to the living room and stopped.
"Woohoo! Again, again!" Toshi chanted
"Sorry, but I really shouldn't be using my quirk in the building." Midoriya said
"Aw, but it was fun." Toshi whined
"How about we play a game." Midoriya suggested
"Can we play hide n' seek?" Toshi asked
"I love that game." Midoriya answered
"Hey, Bakugou wanna play hide n' seek." Toshi asked
"No. Leave me alone brat." Bakugou continued watching Tv
"Fine I bet you'd loose away." Toshi teased
"Pfft- I'm the king of hide n' seek." Bakugou said
"How should I know if you won't play?" Toshi challenged
"I'll play. One round only, got it?" Bakugou got up
"I'll count to ten while you two go hide then after I find you I'll hide. If you can't find me after ten minutes, I win." Bakugou said
"Challenge accepted." Toshi said
"No going outside, that's cheating."
"Dang okay." Toshi said
<<How did he know I was going to do that?>>
"Go hide." Bakugou covered his face
(I can't believe she got Kacchan to play a kids game.)
The two ran off while Bakugou counted to ten.
"Ready or not here I come!" Bakugou yelled
He started searching for them.
Bakugou found Midoriya hiding in kitchen pantry.
"Found you nerd." Bakugou smirked
"I thought I had a good spot hehe." Midoriya said awkwardly
"You thought wrong idiot. You know where she is?" Bakugou asked as he pulled Midoriya out of the pantry by his wrist harshly
"No." Midoriya answered
Bakugou continued his search for Toshi with Midoriya following behind.
He stopped to think.
"Having trouble Kacchan?" Midoriya asked
"No!" Bakugou snapped
Midoriya flinched.
(Wait, now that I think about it when Deku stepped out of the pantry I saw something move at the very bottom. I should go double check.)
Bakugou walked back to the kitchen with Midoriya close behind him.
( Oh no, he's gonna find her.)
"Didn't you already search in here?" Midoriya asked
"Shuddup. I know what I'm doing." Bakugou told him
He opened the pantry and squatted down to look.
Midoriya accidentally looked at Bakugou butt so he quickly looked away and had ha light blush.
(Don't do that Izuku!)
There was a space at the very bottom where a child could hide and be somewhat hidden by the bottom shelf.
"Oi, looser." Bakugou said as he saw her
"I totally had you for a while!" Toshi got out of her spot
"Did you two really hide in the same spot? That's stupid." He looked at Toshi then Midoriya
"I asked Midoriya to be a decoy. I assumed you would search high and low for me, but if you already found someone in a certain place you wouldn't comeback to it. It would have worked and it did for a while. So I don't think it was stupid, you just got lucky that I accidentally moved." Toshi said
"Sounds like dumb excuses ta me. Alright it's my turn, go count." Bakugou demanded
"Do I have to hide again?" Midoriya asked
"If you don't want to, no." Toshi said
"I don't really want too." Midoriya said
"Ok you can help me find him." Toshi pointed at Bakugou
"Since you have another person helping you, your time gets cut. You got 8 minutes to find me or you lose."
"Deal!" Toshi said
Toshi counted with Midoryia. Then they went to find Bakugou.
Eight minutes was up.
"Sorry Toshi looks like Kacchan beat us."
"Ok you beat me. You can come out now!"
"Told you." Bakugou said from behind them
Midoryia jumped and let out a squeak.
"Are you gonna gloat now?" Toshi asked
"Hell yea I am. I won just like I said I would." Bakugou smirked and cackled
"Is he always like this?" Toshi looked at Midoriya
<<This is exactly something my dad would do. I miss dad.>>
"Not all the time, but yea." Midoriya said
(This kind feels like Kacchan and I are kids again.)
"You're just mad that I won and you lost twerp." Bakugou said
"We're back!" Kaminari announced
"Who lost what?" Kirishima asked
"We were playing hide n' seek. Bakugou won." Toshi sulked
"It's always Bakugou or Midoryia winning everything around here. You get use to it after a while." Kaminari crossed his arms
"That sucks butts." Toshi said
"Toshichan." Midoriya was shock she would say such a thing
Bakugou smirked.
Kirishima and Kaminari laughed.
"Tag your it!" Toshi took off running and laughing
"Did that brat just tag me!" Bakugou looked at her then whipped his head around to his friends and Midoriya
"I think she did." Kaminari laughed
"Looks like we're playing tag." Kirishima shrugged
"You're it!" Bakugou said as he tagged Midoryia and ran
"What no fair!" Midoriya whined
Kirishima and Kaminari ran off too. They didn't want to get tagged.
Midoryia ran after them and tagged Kaminari. Kaminari tagged Toshi, Toshi tagged Kirishima. Kirishima tagged Bakugou, Bakugou tagged Toshi. Toshi tagged Midoryia, Midoryia tagged Kirishima etc.

Everyone was returning from class when they heard a lot of laughing.
"What's going on in there?" Ojiro asked
Yaoyorozu opened the door as the class piled in.
They saw a lot of running and heard a lot laughing.
"Guys we should stop, everybody's back and I'm tired!" Kaminari plopped down on the couch
"Oh... hey everyone." Midoriya ran in the room breathing heavy
"I tagged Toshi!" Kirishima ran to the couch
"Tag!" a little girls voice said
Then Toshi came running out of the kitchen.
"Get back here twerp!" Bakugou tailed after her in the living, but stopped in his tracks as he saw his class
"Having fun man?" Sero grinned
"Shut up Soy Sauce Face." Bakugou's demeanor changed
"There should be no running in the building. How many times do I need to tell you?" Iida said
"What's going on?" Yaoyorozu asked
<<Woah she almost looks like aunt Momo and he looks like uncle Tenya.>>
"Everyone this is Toshi. She-" Midoriya introduce her
"Wait, can I answer!" Toshi asked
"If you want too." Midoriya said
Toshi got a little embarrassed with all the people around now.
"I- I'm Toshi. I have a time manipulation quirk. I accidentally opened a time vortex and ended up here. I don't know how I'll get home and Midoriya is my babysitter. Nice to meet you." Toshi waved at the class
"That's a lot for a child to bare." Tokoyami said
"That's dark." Shoji said
"Talk about a bad day." Sero said
"Aw." Ashido felt bad
"Oh Man." Ojiro said
"She's gonna grow up to be pretty." Mineta said
"You're so cute! Sorry you're stuck here."" Hagakure said
"Don't pinch my cheeks I hate that!" Toshi frowned
"That's kinda sad. I'll make some cookies." Sato crossed his arms
"Poor la fillette." Aoyama said
Koda looked sympathetic.
"Maybe we can help you. You gave pretty hair by the way!" Uraraka said
"Thank you my dad says it's pretty too." Toshi said
"A child should not have to go through this. Where are your parents?" Iida asked
"Hey I don't need your pity! I know where they are, but I can't get to them because like I said, I'm stuck here." Toshi crossed her arms
"How old are you Toshi?" Todoroki asked
Toshi opened her mouth to answer.
"She's six." Kirishima said from the couch
"I was gonna answer!" Toshi stopped her foot
"How long have you been here?"
"How long have you been here, ribbit?"
Yaoyorozu and Asui asked at the same time.
"I've been here for a few hours, I'm not sure how many." Toshi answered
Jirou was the only one not bombarding her.
"Hey guys um please don't crowd her." Midoriya asked politely
He was standing near Toshi and was completely ignored.
Toshi was uncomfortable.
"Oi, vultures! Back the hell off, you're making the twerp upset." Bakugou said
They all apologized.
"We should all go change then we'll introduce ourselves to Toshi. Let's give her a few minutes to breathe." Uraraka suggested
Everyone agreed and went their separate ways.
"Ca- Can I see your room now?" Toshi asked Midoriya
"I- I guess." Midoriya said
"Then, I want to see Bakugou's room!"
"You can't look in Kacchan's room. There was an accident and it's being fixed so he's living with me at the moment." Midoriya explained
"Then he should come with us to your room." Toshi said
"You'll have to ask him." Midoryia knew Bakugou would say no though
"Hey come with us to your room." Toshi told Bakugou
"My room is burnt, go to Deku's." Bakugou though Toshi was talking about his actual room
"That's what I was talking about dummy."
"Tch-" Bakugou walked with them
They walked about ten steps.
"I'm tired. Carry me, please." She giggled
"Okay." Midoriya didn't want to, but there was no way he would say no
Bakugou rolled his eyes.
"Let me have her." Bakugou took her from Midoriya's arms
"Uh okay..." Midoriya said
Bakugou sat her on his shoulders.
"If you hit your head it's not my fault." Bakugou said
"Yes it is." Toshi giggled again
Midoriya laughed quietly.
