The Accidental Hero

Martin Loya was an average 16 year-old kid, or so he thought. On his way back from school, he was approached by two shady men. Before he could react; he was on the ground bleeding. Standing before him was the two men who attacked him.

He had to do something. He tried screaming for help but no one heard him. One of the men kneeled in front of him. Then pointed his gun towards Martin's face. As he was pulling the trigger the barrel of the gun bent backwards and aimed towards the attacker's head. Without noticing, the attacker fired and killed himself. Martin and the attacker's friend were both traumatized by the dead body. The other man pointed his gun at Martin and fired the entire clip. Martin thought it was over for him. But he stared, mesmerized by what he saw. The bullets that were fired at him just stopped in mid-air and aimed back towards the attacker.

The bullets all moved at blinding speed. The attacker became riddled with bullets. Martin still couldn't believe what was happening. A hooded figure appeared from the shadows. The hooded figure didn't seem afraid Martin, but looked happy. The hooded figure knelt next to Martin and whispered in his ear, "You've passed the test, congratulations young master." And in a flash the hooded figure disappeared.
