Chapter 3: Usopp's Dignity
While our ship are traveling, Luffy is very happy because his precious straw-hat has been fixed. "I just mended the cut. I think that should do it, try not to poke it too much." I warned him but it's failed. Luffy's point finger is poking through the straw-hat, "Didn't you listen to what I just said!?" I smacked his forehead with little Haki, "Ah!! It's hurt?!! Just like Grandpa's fist!" Luffy felt hurt and confused.
"That's Haki. In this world there are 3 main types of devil fruits such as Paramecia, Zoan and Logia. Paramecia type is just like Luffy's ability and Zoan type is just like mine." after I said that I begin to transform into Zoan mode. Luffy and Zoro are surprised by my transformation.
"Logia type is just like the element itself, it means that the user will transform into fire, thunder, etc. From these 3 main types, Logia is the most powerful. But all of these have the weaknesses such as sea water, kairoseki (seastones) or Haki." I added the words.
"Haki makes us as normal humans can hit, hurt or touch all devil fruit users especially Logia type. There are 3 types of Haki such as Busoshoku Haki, Kenbunshoku Haki and Haoshoku Haki. Busoshoku Haki is just like invisible armor or weapon" I stopped for awhile.
"Kenbunshoku Haki is just like detection sensor and Haoshoku Haki is just like killing intent." I explained each type of Haki to Luffy and Zoro with a simple analogy.
"Before we arrive at the next island, I will impart you this Haki art. Success in learning Haki depends on your each individual abilities." I thought them this Haki art.
"Oh ya, I have also got lots of devil fruits from those pirates group and their treasure chests that have been killed and stolen when I was traveling to draw the completed 4 blue seas map since 1 year ago in system backpack." I thought for what next action to do to them.
"Host, there're suitable energies from these devil fruits that can be extracted and improve your strength. Do you want to extract them?" The system suddenly told me, I am very surprised and happy then I confirmed that decision. I also ask the system why it doesn't remind me 1 year ago, the system tells that I hadn't asked it.

We come to the isolated island, in this island there are many rare or mutant animals. Zoro is sleeping, only Luffy and I explore the island then we meet the man that stuck in treasure chest Gaimon.
He retold about his past activities before meets us. We also help him to check the treasure chests that he kept watching. Just like in original, he is crying after guess the treasure chests is empty, Luffy wants to recruit but got rejected by Gaimon. His reason is still want to be the forest guardian of this island and protect the mutant animals. After hearing his words, we depart again from this island.
"We need to plan things more! The place we're going, the 'Grand Line' is one of the dangerous places in the world! We're short on crew members and this ship doesn't have any equipment. There's a village due north. We should go there first! First thing to do when we get there is look for a better ship!" I told them our next plans. "This's the island that Usopp has lived. We will get the funny long nose guy." I thought about the future silly action of him.
"Wow, there's really an island here!!" Luffy is surprised, "So what did you expect? We followed the map, so it won't be wrong!" I replied Luffy's words. I have sensed Usopp and his 3 little friends on top of the cliff, Zoro points them, "By the way, I just noticed a moment ago. What are those guys doing there?", His 3 little friends immediately escape from this area.
The trick of Usopp's lying to us about he has many subordinates is very amusing and he leads us to the restaurant then Luffy begins to eat. "What? Looking for companions? So you're looking for companions and a big ship? Although it's not very big but it's not that small either. There's a mansion not far from this village that belong to wealthy family. The ship belongs to the mansion's owner. Although we say that she is the owner. She is a pitiful young girl... A weak and sick girl that always lies on the bed." Usopp told the story.
After Usopp left the shop and went to the mansion, the 3 little friends of Usopp are still looking for Usopp. They are afraid about our status as pirates but still come to ask where their captain. "Oh, so it was time to go to the mansion." They suddenly realized something. We also hear about the purpose Usopp comes to the mansion is to tell lies.
The mansion owner Kaya argues with her butler Khaladore about letting Usopp come into the mansion to meet her. Usopp knocks on the window and Kaya immediately opens it then he tells the story. "So to restore her spirits, he's been going for a year to amuse her with made up tales." I concluded their explanations. "All right!! Then we shall go to the mansion and ask for the ship!!!" Luffy suddenly said that words.
The words of Khaladore about Usopp's father as the filthy pirate and the compensation money make Kaya angry. Khaladore still mocks Usopp and his father even Kaya has already told him to stop. "Shut up!!!! I'm proud that my dad is a pirate!!! I'm proud that he was a brave warrior of the sea! You're right that I like to lie. But I'm proud of having a pirate's blood in me!! I don't have to pretend that I am not!!! I am the son of a pirate!!!" Usopp confessed his inner words.
He immediately leaves from the mansion, Luffy chases Ussop to the shore. Zoro is waiting on the street for awhile but they see a suspicious person that called himself as Jango the hypnotist. Luffy tells Usopp about meeting his father, his reason to leave Usopp and the identity of Shanks as the great pirate. After that they see and hear the assassination plan of Kaya from the conversation of Khaladore and Jango.
Khalodore or Captain Kuro has hidden in this village after making everyone thinks that he has been executed by the marines. Kuro orders jango to kill Kaya and makes it look like an accident. He also orders Jango to hypnotize her to give all her wealth to him by write his name into the will. Luffy suddenly stands up and yells to them, Kuro and Jango are very surprised. After that Jango makes Luffy sleep with his hypnotic trick, Kuro also tells Usopp that he could tell everybody about his plans.
I have sensed Kuro and his crew with their ship harbored at one of Gecko Islands that near Syrup Village. I immediately use a Den-Den Mushi to record the conversation of Kuro and his crew secretly. After have got the video, I jump on the dock of their ship, my appearance surprise them.
When they are late to respond, I release Haoshoku Haki to knock some of them unconscious including Kuro himself and kill several members. I record the defeat situation of this ship and write the threatened words for them not to come Syrup Village anymore after making their ship carried by the waves.
I go to Kaya's mansion secretly and put the Den-Den Mushi on her bed, "If I predict right, she will come to see Usopp and meet us tomorrow then also give us the ship. I have to train Luffy, Zoro and Usopp very hard as the compensation for not letting they fight in this situation." I thought the plans. Usopp have tried to warn everyone in this village about the pirates will attack this village and also told Kaya about her butler's true identity as a pirate. They don't believe him anymore because he is telling lies too much.
He immediately runs to the shore that will be becoming the battlefield. "Since everyone that thinks I am a liar. I'll protect this village myself and prevent the pirates from attacking! In order to protect the village, then this will just become one of my lies!" He encouraged himself. After the night ends, Kaya and Meri come to apologize to Usopp and also meet us today. They also tell us about the content of Den-den Mushi from the mysterious man.
"Ah! I am already at very high spirit, you know?! But the enemies are defeated by the others." Luffy complained. Usopp tells Kaya and Meri to keep quiet about the attack of pirates then act it as his lies because it's the best for the villagers. Usopp has also dismissed Usopp Pirate Group from now on because he will join Luffy.
Just like in the original, Usopp comes here by rolling down the slope, Going Merry is the name of this caravel ship that will take us to travel the sea, temporary separation with Kaya, Usopp's 3 little friends continue their captain's usual routine lies and we also begin to depart.
