Chapter 1: Leo's Vision

Leo's life changed when he turned sixteen. That was when he had his first vision. Leo was sleeping in his bed, when he suddenly felt a jolt of pain in his head. He opened his eyes, and saw a flash of light. He felt as if he was being transported to another place.

He found himself in a dark and gloomy landscape, where the sky was filled with smoke and fire. He saw a towering structure in the distance, that looked like a twisted spire. He felt a surge of fear and dread, as he sensed an evil presence.

He saw a man emerge from the tower, wearing black armor and a black cloak. He had pale skin, red eyes, and a cruel smile. He held a sword in his hand, that glowed with a dark and sinister light. He looked at Leo with a mocking gaze, and said:

So you are the one who dares to oppose me. You are the one who thinks he can stop me from fulfilling my destiny. You are the one who will wield the Sunblade, the sword of light. You are the one who will fulfill the prophecy.

Leo felt confused and terrified. He didn't know who this man was, or what he was talking about. He didn't know what the Sunblade or the prophecy were. He wanted to run away, but he couldn't move.

He saw another flash of light, and then he was back in his bed. He woke up, sweating and shaking. He realized it was just a dream, but it felt so real.

He got up from his bed, and went to see the village elder. He needed to talk to him about his dream. He hoped he could explain what it meant.

The village elder was an old and wise man, who had raised Leo as his own son, after his mother died giving birth to him, and his father disappeared. He was also the keeper of the village's history and lore, and knew many stories and legends.

Leo told him about his dream, and asked him if he knew anything about it.

The village elder listened carefully, and then sighed. He looked at Leo with a sad and serious expression, and said:

Leo, my son, I'm afraid your dream was not just a dream. It was a vision. A vision of your destiny.

He then told Leo a story that had been passed down for generations in their village. A story about a dark lord who had risen to power many years ago, and had tried to conquer the world with his army of darkness. A story about a prophecy that foretold the coming of a hero who would save the world from the dark lord's tyranny. A story about a sword that was forged by the gods, and that could shine with the light of the sun. A sword that was called the Sunblade.

He told Leo that he was that hero. That he was the one who would save the world from the dark lord. That he was the one who would wield the Sunblade.

Leo couldn't believe what he heard. He thought it was impossible. He thought it was crazy.

He asked the village elder how he knew this. How he knew that he was the chosen one.

The village elder told him that it was written in the stars. That Leo was born under a blood-red moon, on the night of the winter solstice. That this was a sign of his destiny.

He also told him that there were other signs. That Leo had shown exceptional talent and skill in fighting and learning. That Leo had a pure and noble heart, that cared for others more than himself. That Leo had a special bond with Mia, his childhood friend and love interest, who was also part of his prophecy.

He told Leo that he had to accept his destiny. That he had to leave his village and find the Sunblade. That he had to face the dark lord and end his reign of terror.

He told Leo that he had to fulfill his prophecy.
