Chapter 2: Chapter 2

The desert roars showing greatness, running nature from small to large. Exhales dust and moves clouds in the air. Bringing to life the dead and putting to death the living. Showing prowess to subdue all creatures that step on the lead-colored soil.

But Abqary will never be afraid of the desert, even with its roar that sweeps away all life to the farthest end even if he saw further than what the desert saw. He looks at dreams, he looks at the beliefs in his soul and will follow them until the end of his life.

"Faaz tell me how the enemy's condition is developing." On his horse, he walked closer slowly.

Faaz, who had been looking down the cliff at the tents that had been set up as places to stop and take shelter, looked back at the leader of his troops. With a gentle smiling face, he said "As you can see my brother nothing much has changed since last night arrived." His words are so gentle that they can even quench the thirst of creatures in the desert.

"Watch them closely Faaz, we will never know what they do even in the land of peace." With his body still sitting on his black mount, he looked far away with golden eyes at the tents that numbered more than his entire finger. Those who come from the desert can ultimately only live like the desert itself.

"FAAZ, FAAZZ." The voice boomed as a man with a disheveled face approached them on a horse and when he saw Abqary in front of him he looked down "Mr Abqary, sorry I didn't realize where you were."

"No problem, just tell me what you need." He looked at the man approaching them, the man was of average height with gray hair.

"The troops in the east are under attack." He explained, his face could answer all the curiosity of the two people standing on the hill, about the condition of the troops in the east who would prepare themselves for battle amidst the hot sun.

"They rained arrows on us, it started with one shot. However, it turned into tens and hundreds. Some of us were still able to survive despite our injuries." He stopped his words there, waiting for the orders Abqary gave them.

"Call some troops in the camp, however, we have to increase the defense on the east side. Never let your guard down for the troops in the north." Abqary gave the order. They took action more quickly than initially expected. From what he saw they must have been waiting for this moment before he took action, however, he would not let the land of Oasis become a place of bloodshed a second time. "Faaz, send some people to go to the land of Oasis."

Abqary raised his back, and pressed the horse's footing to increase its speed, he went away feeling anxious about his people and his brother. The land he had left 15 years ago because the outbreak of war between tribes caused a commotion in the Oasis land which was once peaceful and famous. He left it after the chief's death and now becomes a warrior to fight the envoy seekers.

.

The curtain opened and from there I could see the beauty of the Oasis land that was always told about in adventure books belonging to the eastern continent. They always say that the land of sand is a place of survival from the absolute will of nature. Everything is told in ancient relics stored in a pyramid which is divided into 3 beliefs, one of which was in the early government of the Eilam tribe before it finally collapsed due to internal conflict between them which persists to this day.

If you remember, the conflict between tribes has been described in the pyramid relics of primordial god beliefs, but it is still a mystery how it happened. They only explained that the god who could not bear to see death finally sharpened a strand of hair and stuck it into this desert land where finally the land of peace was born with life for those who wanted to survive the disaster.

"I heard that currently, the eastern continent is developing steam engines." He asked about something that had happened 10 years ago where the Canis Kingdom won the war and led a revolution to restore their good name due to the deaths of humanity due to war.

"As you can see, currently each country is wanting to lead the economy due to the losses of the war that occurred between them." My body walked over to help Amram load the natural produce belonging to the Oasis land into the cart, some of which contained dates and olives. If you look at it, it seems like the Oasis residents have developed an irrigation system which means natural products are not a basic need but can be used as income for the residents

Oasis has developed an irrigation system that means natural products are not a basic need but can be used as income for their residents. Among these natural products, it seems they also developed animal husbandry to survive the harshness of the desert. A smile appeared when I witnessed the wonders of the Oasis land, such a blessed land of peace.

"Well as you can see, sometimes I dream of seeing the outside world but I can't leave this Oasis land." He smiled broadly at me with his personality so enthusiastically patting the pile of dates.

"I believe protecting this Oasis land is the first step towards your dreams." Amram fell silent when I said that.

For a moment his face looked thoughtful and a high-pitched sentence came out of his mouth "Ah, you're right. You are right Zahab, when the gods don't hear our prayers, you say words that can soothe our hearts."

I was silent for a moment when I heard Amram say that God no longer heard their prayers, did something happen, it reminded me of the sign before waking up in the middle of the vast desert "Amram, what if I help you so that God will hear your prayers again." I subconsciously said when I heard Amram's sentence earlier.

Not answering, Amram smiled as if he remembered something after hearing my answer "Follow me, I will show you something that will make you not believe that there is a place like this among the beauty of the desert." Amram walked in the lead and I followed behind him.

"As you can see, we Oasis residents survive by cultivating natural products, the women garden and the children tend to the shepherds." We walked past towering date palm groves, there flowing irrigation from underground rivers that connected the Sirius Sea to the Northern continent. "Grown men would go to war to defend their ideology and to the city for a better life."

Several times we met garden girls and mothers drawing water from wells to fill their pottery, and children playing among their shepherds. The elders watched over the desert from a high hill, wary of war between tribes. "We took refuge from the sandstorms and the heat of the sun, but above all, we were more afraid of the gods who would punish us for sins we had never committed."

That's where I saw a giant ravine with rocks that turned inwards.
