Currently getting treated in Chester's room, Paris was sitting there quietly with a lowered head.

Honestly, he couldn't quite describe what he was feeling at the moment. While it was true that he had been feeling mixed emotions earlier, right now, he just feels… empty.

He raised his head a little to take a peek at Chester's face and felt his heart thump when he saw the expression he was wearing.

It was obvious.

He was angry.

Paris quickly lowered his head and continued to stay quiet while the Lee family doctor was treating his bruises.

"I have to make a call. I'll be right back," Chester said in a sullen voice and left the room.

While he was walking, heading to the study which had quite a distance from his room, he couldn't help but recall the way Paris looked.
