Harriet sat awkwardly on the single sofa and felt uncomfortable letting Liam stand on the left side behind her. She didn't like the thought of Liam having to stand motionless for a long time.

So before the painter in front of them actually started his sketch, she stood up, surprising Liam and the painter.

"How about I just stand?" asked Harriet cheerfully.

Liam looked at her confused. "You want to stand up? Why?"

"Look, Milord, there's a pretty detail on my dress here," Harriet pointed at her waist. The curve of the lace was so pretty visible there. "If I sit down these details won't show up in the painting."

Harriet's explanation made Liam furrow his brows. "Oh, then you can sit on your side a little, can't you."

Harriet shook her head. "I want to look tall, so you sit down."
