Chapter 1: The Last Goodbye

A massive laser had hit the hull of the ship. The ship was starting to fall apart slowly as lasers kept repetitively hitting the hull of the ship.First the pilot room went unoperational, then the fuel room, and the electricity room.
I am 21 years old and my name is Liam. I am the prince of the Wuxia empire. I went on a FTL ship to fly to the Qidian Empire to go and find myself a wife, so that when the time comes I can become the ruler of the Wuxia empire.
But when I was wandering around and exploring the ship I was in I had heard people screaming. After a while I went to the upper floor of the ship and saw that it was almost fully obliterated.
When I had asked about what had happened here people had said that there were Tri-Hydra Pirates raiding us (Note at end).
I then ran down to my private escape pod room and entered the best looking pod there. It was pitch black with a dark purple rim.
I then started to turn on the pod. But when I had saw that it takes 30 minutes to fully activate I had started screaming and cussing so much.
Then I just started blaming it on the makers of the pod because who in the world would make an emergency pod take 30 minutes to activate, even though it's an EMERGENCY pod.
I then started nervously waiting for the pod to finish activating. Then when there was just 1 minute left someone barged in the room and knocked me out. I then heard the guy who knocked me out say goodbye arrogant b*tch.
