Chapter 24: Watch me climb to the top
Outside the audition room.
"Zhang Lihua has already spent five minutes inside the audition room, what's happening?"
"Maybe the judges want to embarrass her before letting her go"
"What if she becomes the spokeperson?"
"That's not possible, the spokesperson has already been chosen"
Manager Ling and Xu Chunhua were scared. They expected Zhang Lihua to be out by now.
Zhao Biyu laughed inwardly. She was certain that Zhang Lihua was not going to be the spokesperson. It was already hers, nobody could take the opportunity away from her.
Inside the audition room
One of the judges cleared his throat "Miss Zhang, that was quite impressive"
"Really impressive, you amazed me" another judge supported him
"Thank you" Zhang Lihua bowed slightly again
"Director Mo what do u think?" another judge asked curiously
Director Mo stared at Zhang Lihua for 5 seconds, he didn't answer the judge question, instead he said "Miss Zhang, we will get back to you through your manager"
Zhang Lihua wasn't surprise about the reply Director Mo gave her. He was hard to impress, and even when he was impressed, he wouldn't say anything. Zhang was confused, she didn't know if she impressed him or not
Zhang Lihua replied with an "okay" and left the room.
When she came out, everyone stared at her to see if she was crying, or if there was any trace of sadness in her eyes but her expression was still calm.
Manager Ling and Xu Chunhua approached her. Xu Chunhua asked curiously "Lihua how did it go? Did the judges shout at you?"
"It went well"
"It went well?" Xu Chunhua's tone was full of confusion
"Hmm" Zhang Lihua nodded
Manager Ling was surprise but her expression was calm then she asked curiously "What did the judges say?"
"They said they will get back to me through my manager"
Zhao Biyu approached them and laughed, "Just forget about it, you are never going to be the spokesperson"
Zhang Lihua stared at her "Miss Zhao, I hope you remember what you said today"
Zhao Biyu laughed again "There's nothing to remember, that's the fact"
Zhang Lihua didn't answer her, she turned towards Manager Ling and Xu Chunhua and said "Let's go". They ignored Zhao Biyu and left.
Zhao Biyu anger flared up once again
Zhang Lihua, you are really something. I wonder where you learnt how to ignore people from. You are dressed like a pauper and you still have the guts to ignore me. Anyway am already the spokesperson for Glamour's new product so you can only watch me climb to the top. Zhao Biyu laughed inwardly.
