I was astonished when hearing this, but I had to say something.
It's even more embarrassing if I don't say anything.
I stood up out of my seat and said, "Hello, um, my name is Jason, I like to read, and play video games."
As usual the teacher would clap and say, "Nice what do you like to read" or "What do you play", but the instant I finished, a kid in the back of the classroom said, "Nerd!"
The person who said this was Jackson, one of the most popular kids in the school.
I did not have a chance to renew myself, since everything was in his favor.
I wear glasses, and I carry a book around with me all day, of course this is going to happen.
The thing is everyone busted out laughing like a crowd of hyenas.
I was scared for my life; I didn't know what to do. I was in the center of the class. I was frozen with fear, and everyone was looking at me. All of their eyes were on me, a loser that reads and plays video games.
Also, no one cannot not laugh at Jackson's joke. He is the tallest and strongest kid in the school, and if you disrespect him in any way shape or form, who knows what will happen.
I wanted to cry. My heart was slowing down, and I was about to pass out. I was finished.
