Chapter 5: Scared
"I don't know why he proposed me in the first place. Must be for my looks but there are more beautiful girls in the world."
"Mmm? No worries. I Am here now, every one of your problems will disappear into thin air."
Samara looked at him as a new light in her darkness filled life. She had the urge to hug him, hold onto to him and never let go. She used all of her self control to stop herself from doing so.
He sensed her starring at him and turned to look at her. Their gaze met and both of them refused to break the contact. It was unsure how long they stayed that way but only moved when a waiter came to take their order.
The atmosphere suddenly turned awkward they refused to look each other. They are so busy hiding their inner feelings that they didn't notice guys looking their way.
Samara sensed gazes fell upon her so she turned around and found men staring right back at her. Her heart skipped a beat at this sight.
She was so frightened that sprinted out of her seat and threw herself in his arms. She felt safe and found peace in there. She held on to him so tightly like she was trying to meld their bodies together.
Ben was startled by her actions and was put into a awkward situation. Then he looked around to see guys staring at him with envy. Then it dawned him, 'they are staring at this beauty in his arms' He chuckled seeing her reaction for a normal men's behavior.
"So, does this mean I win?"
She looked up to face him with confusion written all over her face.
"Men are waiting for you" Ben said pointing to all the guys staring at her.
She was so ashamed and wanted to hide her face deep into a hole.
"I am wrong. I accept. Please take me out. I feel uncomfortable under their gazes. They look at me like I am their prey or something."
"Haha. Honey, you are their prey."
She got so angry that she bite his hands and refused to let go until he groaned in pain. She looked up and nodded her head in satisfaction. Seeing her smile made him feel at ease.
