Chapter 1: CHAPTER 1

I was feeling confused at the moment. As any normal man would do in my place. You do not wake up in an unknown alley under a pile of garbage unless you have been robbed or a drunkard.

And I could proudly say that I am neither of those. The last thing, I could remember was being blinded by a thick ball of light and then a complete blackout.

It didn't look familiar and a sense of dread took place in my heart due to unknown reasons. Maybe due to stress or panic, steeling my nerves I got up from the garbage pit and walked out of the closed alley not before dusting my clothes which were quite unfamiliar to me not just in design but also in material.

Shaking my head from these useless thoughts, I walked out of the alley, and what greeted me completely blew off my brain, or at least a quarter of it.

Buildings taller than my home town were all around me, the streets were much cleaner than instead of normal am used to, Strange drones could be seen patrolling the area and the most unbelievable thing I got to witness was a real life of hover train which moved at a speed that I thought could be only seen sci-fi movies or tv shows.

'where the heck am I? Is it a dream I thought incredulously on seeing the strange object in front of my eyes.

On the adjacent wall, one more unique thing had been displayed 'a poster'. No not a normal poster made of paper but a full-fledged hardcore hologram encased in a glass container. But what shocked me more was the contents displayed in it.

[Top Ranker Kevin Voss. Future of Mankind with a potential of SS rank  Potential.]

"Kevin Voss" I whisper to myself

My mind tries to tell me several reasons that I am hallucinating and transmigration is just bullshit and nothing more.

But, before  I could dwell more on this topic, pain assaulted my head. Foreign knowledge got poured into my head. It wasn't just knowledge but memories feeling both good and bad.

It felt like someone was reprogramming a fully function computer with a foreign entity and is doing that in the most crude and pathetic way.

Several visions began to flash in front of my mind which consisted of different lives. One was a normal programmer in an MNC, Second was an orphan from Ashton city who had passed the Lock entrance examination with flying colors and also awakened as a decent hero, but not everything was sunflower and rainbows. He has his own struggles both from bullies that hunt him till he does not get exhausted, adults that take joy in his torment, and his own weakness against those in power.

After a few minutes, the flashes in my mind died, and I took deep breaths to calm down my breathing even if it was fucking difficult to do.

The man no boy whose body I am in is just an 18-year-old boy named  Marcus Morigan, and the world I am fucking stuck in is TAPOV, a popular web novel.

It would have been much better, had I not gained memories of other lives as they say ignorance is bliss.

What shit luck I had waking up in a world where the destined hero is pussy, the villain is like a fucking angsty teenager and another mc is absolute shit with his own mental issues and likes to play Chessmaster by using tactics that don't do shit other than acting as medium for assholes like me.
