Chapter 3: * The Lord of Damns Hollow

Let it be known that the land of Damns Hollow was Ruled by the Demon lord, Slayer. the formidable Demon Lord of Blood and Fire.

Known for his cruelty and bloodthirsty ways, who brought fear to all those who came across him. His power and strength were unmatched and couldn't possibly be challenged. Far surpassing any of the creatures that inhabited Damns Hollow.

He alone could control both of the nightmarish Kamaira clans in the land, for it was He they feared and would listen to only their Lord. None dared to get on the Lord's bad side and sought only his favor.

As the Lord of Damns Hollow, he protected and made it that much more formidable of a place and treacherous. Slayer ruled over Damns Hollow for many decades now; starting his Reign at a very young age of only 18.

Demons age considerably slower than humans and live for centuries longer. There was no one who Ruled Damns Hollow before him; but Damns Hollow wasn't a place anyone wanted to try and Rule over either.

The Kamairas were a race that everyone figured would be best left alone and did their best to stay far away from the lands of Damns Hollow by all means.

It didn't in fact take long for Slayer to take Reign over the lands and the Kamairas that inhabited them. For he made it quite clear very quickly that no one or nothing could come close to stopping him. It wouldn't even matter how many in number came at him at once.

But Slayer and the Kamaira's went well with each other and they didn't mind serving him, and they loved him as their Lord.

Slayer's Palace sat on the highest mountain that overlooked all of Damns Hollow; it was black Iron on the outside and black Marble on the inside. The Palace was lit up with torches that hung on the walls; the flames looked of black Sapphire and somber Emerald or the darkest Ruby.

Slayer was tall, broad-shouldered, and very muscular with a washboard stomach. Black traditional design tattoos covered his arms and torso. His thick blood-red hair was kept in a high ponytail and went down to his waist. He had Piercings that went up his whole ear on both sides and his eyes looked as if they held Hell's fire; they were a Ruby blood red. He was absolutely breathtaking to look at.

Slayer was overlooking the land of Damns Hollow from the tallest tower in the Palace. The land was beautiful to gaze upon and the glowing moon lit up the night sky making it appear bright out.

One could always find Slayer here for he went to stand at the top of that tower quite often. He enjoyed looking over the lands and feeling the cool breeze of the day and hearing the screams it carried up so he could hear. A smile came to his lips as everything seemed to be so peaceful to him. He truly loved the feeling that Damns Hollow gave to him and he loved Ruling it.

.. His thoughts wandered to the time when he was but a small boy of maybe 10 or 11 years old, when Synister and he were first introduced to Wycked and Vishious, their older brothers. He remembered that he had been eager to meet them.

He had believed that they were in fact on the same side. His childish thoughts were quickly realized to be just that; a child's wishful thinking.

His brothers Vishious and Wycked looked at the younger two with cold and emotionless expressions. Not speaking a word and just standing like a couple of statues, while being introduced.

Synister went up to the older brothers but was knocked back with brutal force from Vishious, when she got closer than he obviously liked.

This unexpected action from the older brother surprised and shocked Slayer, who watched as Sinyster went flying back.

Slayer turned to look at the small girl who was now laying face down. It took a minute before the girl tried to force herself up, it was obvious to see that getting herself up was painful to do. Blood was falling from the corner of her lip on on side and one side of her face was already showing signs of bruising.

Slayer went up to where Synister was struggling to get up and grabbed her by one of her arms and helped her to stand. He didn't give Sinyster a chance to refuse his help and she looked up at him briefly before lowering her head to look down at the ground.

"T-thank you....Slayer." her voice was barely a whisper.

"Brother." Slayer corrected her and she looked up at him with obvious shock at what he had just said. A small smile came to show on her small face.

"Thank you, Brother." She said still being supported by Slayer to stand. Slayer nodded at her in approval and made sure after a minute that Sinyster would be able to stand on her own without his help.

Slayer turned towards the Rulers expecting them to be angry or at least correct the older brother who had hit their sister; but instead they said nothing.

They just Observed the situation that had transpired, between the siblings. Slayer didn't try to hide the look on his face that showed he was pissed at their lack of involvement and allowing Vishious to do that to her

"It is necessary for these kinds of lessons to happen. We'll leave you four to get aquatinted, You two must learn how your older brothers are, We must leave to attend to other matters now"; Without another word the Lords of the Realms vanished without waiting for any response.

After a minute Slayer turned to look where Sinyster still stood. It was obvious that the she was still unsure how to take getting hit by the older brother.

"Are you ok?" Slayer asked,

Sinyster put her head down as she nodded and wiped the blood that was on the corner of her lips , with the back of her hand. Slayer could see that she had tears in her eyes that she was fighting to keep from falling. He turned to face the older brother, Vishious; his hands balling into fists as he glared at the him.

"Keep looking at me like that and I'll have to beat that look off your face. Unless that's what you're wanting me to do; little brother?" Vishious asked with a smug, cocky look on his face. Wycked still just stood their without any emotion showing on his face.

"Why hit her when she is our little sister, who was just excited to meet brothers that she just learned she had?" Slayer asked with annoyance in his voice. He wasn't intimidated by the words spoken to him by Vishious and he was actually, in a way wanting to get in a fight with his older brother for being a jerk and hitting Sinyster.

Vishious cocked his head to the side and seeing how the young boy stood his ground a crazed smile came to settle on his face.

"Well, well looks like someone is feeling tough today and doesn't have enough common sense to know when he's in the presence of someone who he could never stand a chance against." A mocking laugh was directed towards Slayer, as if egging him to try his luck.

"I'm over this pointless introduction that isn't worth my time and have other things that I could be doing than listening to two children arguing and acting tough with each other." Wycked said in a venomous voice that was bone chilling. Interrupting the brothers argument they were having. They all turned their gazes towards Wycked, whose solid white eyes looked menacing and brought a sense of dread and hopelessness when he looked at you. Making one feel as if he was looking into your very soul.

"My apologies brother for giving these little brats even a little bit of attention that they're not even worth getting from us." Vishious said to Wycked and without so much as giving the two younger siblings another word or glance back; Vishious turned into a Magnificent Black Raven of great size and took flight with massive flaps from his wings.

Slayer then looked back at Wycked, unsure if this brother was friend or foe. Deciding to break the silence that fell between the remaining three siblings; Slayer cleared his throat before talking. "So where do you stand with us, brother?"

"I stand where I stand, not standing with any and standing wherever I please." Wycked said in his venomous voice that he had.

"I care not for any who are living and rather only find value in the souls who come to be one of mine." This had both the younger siblings look at him with Fear in their eyes and become extremely uneasy and Slayer couldn't help but take a couple steps back, putting more distance between them.

"Why so speechless little brother? Has my words been not to your liking?" Wycked stood unfazed as if what he said wasn't in any way wicked or twisted.

....

Slayer pulled himself out of his memories of that time, a time that seemed to have been so long ago that it belonged to a different lifetime. He rarely thought of his past before coming to rule the lands of Damns Hollow.

News would reach his ears from time to time of the things his siblings were doing; but each of them stayed in their own place that they Ruled, dealing with their own affairs and priorities.

Rarely did situations arise that necessitated the need for interaction between them. The circumstances were such that their paths seldom crossed, leaving them with minimal opportunities to engage with one another.

But the sibling that often came to Slayer's mind was his little sister Sinyster. She was in fact the baby of the bunch and she was the one he had become close to. She was also the one who always seemed to get herself in unnecessary trouble and would usually be the reason why he would find himself leaving his Kingdom and get involved in matters that wouldn't usually concern Him.
