Chapter 17: I will drive you home
When you like someone you try to be with them you want to know them better and even their flaws seems perfect for you. You want to keep them with you when Romeo Juliet he too wanted to be with Juliet even he was aware of the consequences... they says love is blind your rationality dies when you love a person. Shaizlan also seems to experience the same thing when he wanted to keep Azlain by his side. though there were no emotions he felt but his mind kept hovering him to be with her
he was confused whether his mind is suggesting him or his heart is playing with him his turmoil of emotions made him do all the irrational things which he never have even thought of ....
The office was in uproar after Azlain arrival and also with her report submission, the men were in good mood as a beauty has arrived so there are chance of dating flirting with her and on the other hand women were envy as their hearthrob offered her lunch which was dream of many plotting started in full swing to get attention to their killer look boss and to get rid of Azlain. Unaware of the situation she started packing her stuff happy and content she was about to leave and the buzzer rang. "Ahh heartless jerk seriously" she kept her bag aside and went to his cabin but this time Shaizlan himself opened the doors for her. Without a word he went back to his chair and ask her to be seated. His face was emotionless no body can judge what is there in his mind, as soon she sat he asked her to review the documents looking at the thick copies she gasped and looked at him with a confuse look. Her eyes can say it all.... the murderous glare she gave him but he was all calm and composed. "so you thought that being a secretary if an easy task huh".. he was staring at her reading her face so many emotions flustered as soon she heard that.. she just took a deep breath and said, yeah you are right I thought it would be easy but looking at you I can it is hard like you know I need to do all the work which is yours and I can feel..... that I mean come on I need to review that documents which is your work I must say it so hard to be secretary to a person who can't do his work himself. it might be difficult for you since I can see you even can't tie your tie properly... She said those words looking into his eyes she was so frustrated that she cannot hold back her emotions.. he looked at her with rage with his breathing became heavy... he got up from his chair and came close to her. For the first time she felt his aura chill ran through her spine. he hold her chair closely and closed the distance between them. his voice was hoarse that Azlain got panicked, she tries best not to show her emotions to him. he looked into her eyes and said "seems like you do hold some grudges between the two nations how can we establish a relation if your heart is not ready for it yet I believe you need to go back to your country as I don't want any problems with that nation we might not be on friendly tone but definitely we are not enemies". with that he went out banging the door. She felt she overdid it and he was just helping her out to make a good relation she should not have talk to him like that but she was missing her Baba and she vent all her frustration on him. She had thought that Shaizlan might have forced her Baba to make his secretary and so she was cold to him. But his words make her realise that he don't know anything about her. She sat there thinking deeply how to make up with him. after giving a thought she started reviewing the documents half an hour passed Shaizlan came. without a word he sat down on his chair and started typing on his computer from time to time both would peek into each other Azlain wanted to read his face but she was not able to as he remain like that like a stone, Shaizlan just wanted to see her after all she somehow spoke against him she dared to backfire him in fact she even criticise his tie, he cannot make ties and he never made anyone to do that for him so everytime his tie would be either crooked or would be improper most of the time he would avoid wearing it, but no body dared to tell him truth which she did.
Two hours passed two of them remained seated and continue with their work don't want to break the ice. As Azlain was hell tried her eyes were slowly shutting down she was not able to keep herself awake and after much struggle she slept with head on his table. He didn't realised when she slept as he was about to ask her to leave he looked at her only to find that she passed out. His heart once again was on roller coaster ride he stared at her she was so peaceful she slept like an angel. Her beauty was a killer for him. He got up from his chair and with his shaking hands as if he is stealing something. sweat forms on his forehead he tuck her hairs behind to see her beautiful face. He didn't realise for how long he has been staring at her by the time Hugo he looked at her frowned for disturbing him. Hugo was amazed to see his boss admiring the beauty. He asked when to leave as it is already late but Shaizlan did not wanted to end this scene Infront of his eyes with a heavy heart he tried to wake up Azlain but as she was on hibernation mode she didn't wake up
He gave a confused look to Hugo. Then he took his pen and poked at her still no response. Hugo came forward and was about to pick her up that Shaizlan explode at him, " Hugo don't you even dare to.... Hugo immediately stepped back and apologized him.
He actually thanked Hugo in his heart for giving him an idea. He tried to carry her in a princess style. Hugo who was watching all this nearly fainted he punched himself thinking as of he z hallucinating... He asked Hugo to prepare his Maybach and walked out as it was late no one was there in his office, while carrying her he almost felt that he can't take anymore of her closeness his caveman feeling aroused his heart thumped like a uncontrollable ride and his body became hot. Azlain was in slumber sleep but when he carried her way out because of the lift her hand got hurt and she wakes up only to be found in his arms.
She startled and asked him to keep her down. Obeying her he kept her down as he is keeping something very delicate object. It was quiet obvious what she might have thought but before she could say anything Hugo stepped in and said "You were in deep sleep that why Boss carried you, He tried to you up but all in vain. Azlain who was staring in his eyes just gave a nod and said" thanks, actually i don't wake up when I sleep. Hehehehe... I sleep as if I am dead she chuckled.. On the other hand Shaizlan keep on staring at her face. She thanked him.and was about to move out, Shaizlan said " I will drive you home. She said her Activa is parked here she manage but Shaizlan was worried because she was sleepy. He took her hand and began to walk near his car... With so many emotions they drove towards Azlain penthouse
