Chapter 103: Nightmare!

Erik and Aryana were enjoying their meal when they heard a knock on the door.  A few seconds later, Cassie came with a thermo jug in her hand.  It was apparent that she just came from a photo shoot.  She was wearing a dainty white dress and her make up was light making her look innocent and pure.

"I hope I am not too late. Grandpa said that the mushrooms in this soup will promote healing of the wound." She said sweetly.  She sounded really nice and amiable.

"Actually Cassie, you don't have to do this."  Aryana said akwardly.

"Karla is my friend.  I felt responsible for what happened.  Just consider this as a token of my apology."

Erik took the jug from her.  "Thank you Cassie."  He looked at her briefly and Cassie's eyelashes fluttered.

Erik opened the thermo jug and poured the contents on a bowl.  He tasted the soup using Aryana's spoon.  "Drink it while it is still hot."  He said and gently passed the bowl to Aryana.
