Chapter 94: Bruce's Provocation

"Alright, Maisy." Bruce looked at her worried expression and said, "I'm really fine. It's just some minor injuries."

"I'll apologize on his behalf. You were just concerned about me." Maisy lowered her head.

"There's no need, Maisy." Bruce smiled magnanimously. "You're not him. You don't have to apologize to me for him."

Upon hearing Bruce's words, Maisy was slightly stunned. It was as if he was reminding her that she and Jay were still just friends. "I'll send you back first." If Bruce continued to stay here, Jay might suddenly get angry again.

"Okay." Bruce smiled gently. "If there's anything, just call me again."

Maisy nodded. She turned off the electrical appliances in the kitchen and sent Bruce downstairs. "Tell me if you're feeling unwell. You can go to the hospital first." Maisy was still a little nervous.
