Chapter 1: Her resignation

Stephen Salvatore, the handsome CEO of one of the leading firms of Salvatores in Europe has been sitting with a frowned expression in his cabin since the morning. He had files flipped open on his table and his eyes were focused on the computer screen in front. All the details of decline of meeting from the Scott Enterprise was making him annoyed. Especially that rejected proposal that the company had rejected suggesting that the deal is not worthy at all.

"Who is heading Scott Enterprise?"

Stephen gritted his teeth in anger and looked at his secretary who was standing in front of him with his tablet in his hand. The secretary felt like a chilling sensation running down his spine. The iced expression o n his face was something that could freeze anybody on the spot. Hius fingers trembled and he took a deep breath before calming his nerves.

"Sir, the identity is hidden."

It was a big sentence but for Stephen it was not. He was aware that most of the top continental companies do take such actions for security purposes but he was somebody from whom no information could be kept hidden. He had every ounce of news and could get hold of all the news in the world. So was it hard for him to get information about the one heading the Enterprise?

He smirked slightly and spoke in a very calm tone.

"That's alright. I will get it."

The secretary lifted his head from the tablet and was stunned for a moment before realizing a very logical thing. Was there anything in this world that could stay hidden from Stephen? There was not. He nodded his head and was about to say something when all of a sudden there was a knock on the door.

"Sir, the ex chairman is here."

The haughty expression on his face disappeared the very moment he got to know that old man is here. A flash helplessness came over on his face. He could somehow guess the reason why he made a visit today.

'KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK'

In the very next minute a series of knocking on the door came up and he could not help but stand quickly and rush towards the door.

"Why did you came all way here, grandpa? "

There was a softness in his voice about which nobody knew and had heard. His secretary was already aware about it so it was not surprising for him but at first when he witnessed his softness for his grandfather he could relate that they must be having a strong bond. So strong that it could make even a person like him soft hearted.

"You rascal, what you did?" Stephen's expressions changed. Did the old man got hold of some information that was not supposed to be leaked? Or did his trusted team had one or more spies who possibly would have leaked anything to him?

"Do you know anything about Julia Scott?"

Stephan did not give any reaction but from inside he knew a lot about her. Although the information was hidden from the rest of the world but with Stephan's connection nothing was impossible for him still he was very surprised to notice that a lot of the information about her was still not with him. It seemed as if a part of her life was raised and nobody knew about it except for her of course.

" it seems that the Scotts are having an internal battle among the higher ups and their family members. I believe if anything could be done is that you get married to that girl. You can have the whole Scott firm under your hand." The old man knew that there was nothing that his grandson did not knew about. He could practically know about what must be happening in another part of the world, then why he could not catch up about the information regarding that girl.

There was a slight change in Stephan's expression. He knew what kind of treasure the Scott firm had in their hand. Although the higher ups were rivals among each other, the firm was one of the billionaires' companies that was doing quite well.

On the other side the Scott firm had an emergency meeting early in the morning. An important deal was intentionally canceled that was supposed to be one of the major projects of the company for this financial year. Julia Scott who has to handle this project was sitting with a very calm expression on her face. She knew what she did and she had always done things that were right for the company and for its growth. It was not the first time that she canceled any project. And whichever project she accepted and handled came out to be the best projects and the most profitable project for the company. However the cancellation of this project was not welcomed by a few higher ups and they demanded an explanation. The major reason why all this irritated her was because the higher UPS was not at all after the growth of the company but were rather interested in the Treasure and the money that the company was making. Her dreams were completely opposite to what her relatives had. She wanted the Scott firm to be on the top of the billionaires list for the rest of the coming ages. And honestly her capability was one of the reasons the firm had been on the top of the companies since her joining and that was known to everybody.

This was the time when the company was about to be handled by the new generation. Everybody wanted the chair seat of the organization and hence we are working hard to gain that. So cancellation of this project was seemingly just as one of the wrong decisions that Julia took by everybody who thought that she might also be one of the contenders for the CEO position.

Julia being one of the highest qualifier for this position had indeed attracted a lot of rival but when they got to know that this cancellation of this project they were sure that she won't be there in the race of the so anymore and they did not wanted to leave any single chance of her survival to come back to the racing track.

"We want her resignation, nothing less."
