Chapter 67: Sixty six

Esme pov

 "All done" Martha announced after she was done powdering my face.  I opened my eyes slowly to see the finishing reveal. 

My face didn't look like mine. It did look like my eye color. But I looked gorgeous. 

" Woah, you guys outdid yourselves. I wouldn't recognize me a mile away." I reached out to touch my cheeks. Martha tapped my hands away from my face. 

"don't ruin the makeup before even getting to the ballroom. " she cautioned 

"got it" I dropped my hands into my lap suddenly becoming conscious of my makeup. Wouldn't want to ruin it and become a laughing stock at the ballroom in front of everyone.  That would be terrible.  

Finally allowed to get up from the chair I had been sitting in for the past how many hours on end. My bum felt rock solid after that. 

I looked at them expectantly doing a little twirl around to show off the whole look.
