Chapter 294: Losing A Loved One

Ryan squeezed the white handkerchief in his hands.

"Ryan...?"

Aiden touched Ryan's upper arms. "It can't be Zane," he said.

It had to be someone else.

Zane was at the Caldwell Mansion, busy trying to find out the exact location of Blackfire Island. And at the same time playing babysitter to Liam.

"It is not Zane," Ryan agreed. "It is someone else."

Aiden's lips parted from surprise when he thought about something.

The handkerchief with some strands of hair inside looked a lot like a token of love.

If the purple hair did belong to Zane, then the one who dropped the handkerchief must be Zane's lover. But who?

Aiden did not know Zane that well to know about his romantic partner.

The younger vampire looked up at his lover, intending to ask, but Ryan ended the conversation one-sidedly.

"We should go back to Stonewick, my love." Ryan tucked the handkerchief into his pocket.

He did not want to talk about it, so Aiden tactfully refrained from asking follow-up questions.
