Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Eywa's brother vanishes and gets reborn.
Eyiur'itan, that's his name and the name his only family will ever know him by until they meet again tho.
Onto the story:-
Eyiur'itan looks at his sister, seeing how much paler her normally blue like skin is and asks.
"sister, are you sick?"
Eywa looks at her brother and says softly as she slowly looks away from him.
"i am but i will get better"
he doesn't believe her and sighs as he walks away, wondering to himself what he can do to help her. three days later he comes up with a solution as he sits down and meditates near the tree of souls on their side of the link between the living and the other side. he slowly pushes his own essence into his sister, the living energy that makes him the same as his sister and heals her as he slowly starts to wither away, looking down onto his hand as he sees his body slowly falling apart and smiles sadly and whispers ever so softly.
"this is all i could think of my dear sister, you were too weak for me to wait longer and come up with something else..."
as he hears his sister's cry of pain and sadness, he regrets only that he made her sad but has a feeling they may meet again someday.
1'000 years later:-
Nathan wakes up from a dream he had and shakes his own head softly as he sighs and sits up, mumbling to himself.
"this was just a dream, just a dream... wait why am i even talking to myself? shit, i have gone mad haven't i?"
joking a little of course as he chuckles and then gets up from the bed and walks toward where the door is from his very memory itself. as he gets downstairs after getting dressed, he hears the door and mumbles to himself.
"who is it now at the door?"
Flash back:-
Nathan Sully, youngest special force member to get the highest rank possible, he saved alot of lives and his unit didn't have any deaths, some got injured but not badly enough so that they couldn't continue. Nathan on the other hand, got injured in his left shoulder and ended up blind cause some asshole blew something up too close to their camp without thinking where as to why the blindness. the shoulder injury is from when he saved someone in his unit from getting shot. he ended up training himself to shot and fight well even with his blindness so now he's still the same as if he had his sight except for that he has problem with his left arm sometimes with the pain as well as well going limp sometimes.
some time later, when he got out from there and went back home, a woman named Grace Augustine called him and told him that she wanted him in the Avatar program, she had heard so much about him from his little brother Thomas Sully that's in the program too as he got there just a little under a year ago. Nathan of course accepts and a few months later, he starts the Avatar program with his little brother and all goes well.
Flashback ends:-
he opens the door and sighs as he asks.
"who is it?"
the two men outside the apartment looks at each other and then at him as one of them asks.
"is this where Nathan Sully lives?"
he sighs and says.
"i'm Nathan, who's asking?"
"i'm sorry to tell you this but your brother Thomas Sully is dead"
he stares at where they are standing, almost wishing he heard wrong and then says with a broken voice.
"how did he die?"
after minutes almost an hour of talking, they finally went off to tell Jake about his twin. Nathan breaks down and cries that night but the next day he shows up as they cremates the body of Thomas Sully and Jake as he calls himself instead of his birth name, accepts to be in the Avatar program. Nathan thinks to himself as they are finally aboard the ship that will fly them to Pandora as he slowly goes into a coma like sleep in the cryo tank he got for the trip.
'what can go wrong?'
Years later:-
Nathan wakes up and feels hungry as well as thirsty but other than that he's alright, he yawns and slowly looks around as the cryo tank (don't remember exact name of the ones you see in the movie but if you have seen it, you will know what i mean) and a doctor checks him before a voice says.
"you have been asleep for 5 years, 9 months and 22 days, you will be hungry and you will be thirsty. if you feel nauseous then let us know."
Nathan gets up and slowly makes his way toward his locker with his stuffs as well as a water bottle and some protein bars, he gets one and drinks a little water before he munches on the protein bar. hearing something, he slowly turns to face his brother that he knows is there by the sounds but not sight.
"hi big bro, you think we will be able to do something good on Pandora?"
Nathan sighs and says softly.
"never be trigger happy Jake, be more open minded and understanding..."
Jake shrugs and mumbles "fine" before they sits down and straps themselves up before the ship finally descends toward Pandora and Nathan feels a soft headache, like a small pain when someone is probing into his head but that can't be right. he shakes his head and relaxes as he pats his legs softly in a rhythm that is like his favorite song. after some time the ship finally lands and a man with a exo mask on him so he will be able to breathe the toxic air of Pandora yells out.
"get your mask on, get a move on or you will be unconscious in 20 seconds and dead in 4 minutes, i rather not have that happening while i'm here so get those masks on and move out."
Nathan takes the mask Jake gave him and puts it on as Jake does the same with his own exo mask. then they both gets into the line where everyone else is, slowly moving out as some just has to make hurtful comments towards Jake and Nathan, thinking they will react and gets disappointed.
In the lab:-
Nathan slowly moves into the lab and dodges when someone runs towards them, stopping to chat with Jake, they both moves closer to the scientists as Nathan ignores Norm Spellman, waiting and after some time, he hears the Link hub turn off and opens up.
"where is my damn cigarette, hello... what's wrong with this picture?"
as Grace gets her cigarette and lab coat, she puts the coat on and gets the cigarette into her mouth before walking over to Norm and the others.
