Unsure of how Christine would respond to her request, Ingrid decided to address the unspoken tension. "Christine, if you're not comfortable or if it's too much, feel free to refuse. I won't hold it against you," Ingrid said, furrowing her brows.

However, to Ingrid's relief, Christine smiled warmly. "Princess Ingrid, I promised someone that I would look after you," she revealed, her tone sincere.

"Someone?" Ingrid inquired, raising her eyebrows in question.

Christine nodded, maintaining her reassuring smile. "Yes, someone you know dearly. You have my word, Princess. I will do my best to assist you."

As Ingrid processed this revelation, a warmth spread across her face. "I suppose... the Grand Commander must have given her the order," she thought.
